Yunho was sitting inside his private office, stared blankly at the files on the table. His mind was still repeating the scene between Jaejoong and Changmin back there, before he went and left them alone completely. At that time, Yunho felt anxious for not knowing what would happen between his two important people. That was why; Yunho went back to his house once more to overhear them.

It seemed that both Changmin and Jaejoong didn’t know; or maybe, never paid any attention on Yunho’s existence. Both of them were just staying in silence, Jaejoong with his own thought and Changmin who’s still waiting on Jaejoong’s answer. Until finally, Jaejoong broke the silence and stared on the ground; as it was the most interesting things right now.

“I don’t understand you at all,” said Jaejoong, as the nervousness shown clearly within his tone.

“Is that so?” asked Changmin back, raising his eyebrows upon the suspicion on Jaejoong’s words.

Even that so, Changmin was still unexpectedly calm. Yunho couldn’t believe that Changmin was able to maintain his composure, despite every single facts right in front of him. If it was Yunho, he couldn’t say for sure that he would able to stay calm, knowing that it could be his last time to see his love for forever. Yunho might have been in panic and begging Jaejoong to go with him.

“Or maybe, do you not want to have this last date with me?” added Changmin, after getting an awkward silence from Jaejoong as the reply of his first question.

Jaejoong was immediately raising his head to face Changmin again. His eyes went wide and showed nervousness, as he didn’t want Changmin to feel disappointed because of that. He did want to spend more times with Changmin, but Jaejoong also thought that this wasn’t the right time for that. What about Changmin’s mother? What about Changmin’s departure? Also, what about his feelings- THEIR feelings?

“That’s not what I meant,” Jaejoong said softly, “I- It’s just that- I think it’s not the right-”

“So, you do want to have a date with me, right?” asked Changmin with a gentle and soft smile on his face, not letting Jaejoong to finish his words at all.

Jaejoong bit his lips nervously; lost of words completely.

“It’s fine,” said Changmin all of sudden, making the latter stared at him again. Changmin was standing up and extending his hand towards Jaejoong. “Don’t think too much about everything. Let’s just forget everything for awhile and enjoy our day, Joongie.”

Jaejoong sighed, feeling defeated with the current situation. Hesitantly, Jaejoong was finally extending his hand to reach Changmin’s. “Okay, for- this time,” answered Jaejoong.

Maybe anyone else would think that it was a simple and small conversation between Jaejoong and Changmin. But as the closest person for them, Yunho knew more than that. He could see it clearly, how they felt upon the sudden news; their sadness, their longing for each other, also their loves. Yunho chuckled bitterly, remembering how Jaejoong was so persistent to hold Yunho back; to not let him giving up on Jaejoong for Changmin.

Why did you even give me a false hope, Jae? thought Yunho.

“Excuse me, Yunho-Sshi?”

A woman voice could be heard from the door, interrupting Yunho’s thought immediately. He almost forgot that he was in his office just now. Yunho was quickly moving his gaze towards the door, to face his secretary there. He could see that his secretary seemed feeling uneasy for disturbing Yunho.

His secretary was bowing his head slightly towards Yunho, before started her words. “I am sorry for interrupting you. I just wanted to inform you that the meeting will start one hour later, at 1 PM.”

“I’m sorry, what meeting is it again?” asked Yunho, couldn’t remember his schedule at all.

“The meeting with your father and Park’s family about company’s stakeholders and some plans for next year,” answered his secretary; Jessica, while looking at the notes on her hands.

“Can you cancel it for now?” asked Yunho again, “Just rearrange it until next week, or just tell them that we’re going to contact them again later for the next meeting.”

Yunho knew that the cancellation would get him into trouble, especially with his father. He knew that his father would question him about it, and to be honest Yunho was nowhere from ready to explain his, Jaejoong, and Changmin’s situation right now. Besides, He also knew by himself that the meeting was important, but what could he do at the moment? He’s not in a condition to have another brainstorming. Not at all.

“But Yunho-Sshi, it’s-”

“It’s just with my appa and cousin’s family, after all. Just tell them to contact me for further info, if you’re feeling afraid,” cut Yunho right away; clearly didn’t want to take a no as the answer.

“That’s not it, Yunho-Sshi. But-”

“Is it still not clear?” cut Yunho for once more, practically glaring towards Jessica.

Jessica was freezing on her place for a while, as the fear started climbing into her. Really, Yunho’s stare was extremely scary and seeming dangerous for her. Knowing that she shouldn’t object her boss’s order anymore, she bowed towards Yunho again. “I understand,” she said, “I will inform the news to Mr. Jung and Park’s family right away. Meanwhile, please think and tell me later when you would like to have the meeting later, Yunho-Sshi.”

“Thank you,” answered Yunho.

Jessica was looking at Yunho with an uncertain feeling. She wanted to ask something to Yunho, yet she was quiet afraid of Yunho. What if Yunho suddenly scolded her for nothing? Meanwhile, Yunho was staring back at Jessica and raising his eyebrows; having no idea what else Jessica wanted.

“Is there something else? Do I have another schedule?” asked Yunho, back to his usual self.

Jessica jumped a bit on her place, feeling surprised that Yunho suddenly asked her a question. “No. That’s the only schedule you had for today- which you just cancelled,” Jessica answered while laughing nervously, “It’s just that- Is everything going well?”

Yunho just kept staring at Jessica, not knowing what Jessica meant.

“I mean- those two people. I rarely see them coming here again lately,” added Jessica while lowering her head. She was afraid; knowing the fact that Yunho hated her attitude towards Jaejoong and Changmin at the start. “Since you said that they are the most important people in your life to me before, I’m just wondering- if anything happened.”

“Why do you think so?” asked Yunho, feeling amazed with his secretary’s observation.

“Well- never once since the first time I worked for you, I see you’re so depressed like this time,” answered Jessica again.

Yunho froze upon hearing Jessica’s words right away.

It wasn’t the first time Yunho felt depressed with his life or anything, but he always able to hide it completely from everyone except Jaejoong. Yunho always hid his weakness from everyone around him, since there were a lot of people underestimating him to sit on his current position inside the company. He was trained to act so, to be shown as the strong and good leader for anyone below him. The fact that his own secretary could see his feelings clearly was unacceptable for him.
