Following behind Gummy in her shadow, she moved out of the way to let me see the new edition. He grinned as he stood up and extended his hand towards me, “Hey I’m Jang Hyun Seung.”

Being the polite person that I am I accepted the handshake, “Hello I’m Minzy.”

“Well now that you two have met, I need to go talk with the boss really quick and Minzy I need you to stay here and give him some advice or something,” Gummy waved at us as she walked out.

Not knowing what exactly to say we both stood there aimlessly looking around, “Sooo...” we both said at the same time. This allowed us to break the ice as we chuckled at the awkward moment.

“So what brings you to the family,” I grinned trying to start a conversation.

But as I asked his face turned serious and concentrated on a thought, well it this just got more awkward as we stood in silence. I don’t know whether or not to say something because I can’t make this even worse. But then again it’s just awkward standing here without saying anything to each other.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about, we could talk about something else,” I finally offered.

He sighed as he took a seat, “Minzy I have a lot of things on my mind and you are just adding on to the burden.”

“I…I…” I am super confused at what he’s getting at. I’m a burden? Who does he think he is? “Umm excuse me a burden? I’m just trying to help.”

“Well don’t! I don’t need your in help I’ve got everything under control,” he snapped.

“Who the do you think you are to talk like that to me when you don’t even know me,” I marched up to him to defend my pride. He stood glaring down at me, but I gave him just as much if not more of a glare up at him. “I ain’t scared of you.”

“Well you should be you lil ,” he hissed.

Not being able to contain the fury that burned in me I threw him a left hook, but he caught my wrist and smirked. But doesn’t this er know I have two hands? I socked him as hard as I could right in the nuts making him cringe as I pushed him away.

“Remember who you messin with ,” I smirked at him.

He held himself as he tried to breath out a comeback when the door whipped open and in walked GD. “WHAT THE IS GOIN ON IN HERE,” GD shouted seeing the state of his little prodigy. GD ran up to him to check and see if he was okay as he looked back to me, “YOU LIL !”

Before I knew it he was in front of me with a fist full my shirt in his hand ready to swing at me. I didn’t know what to do in such a short notice and all I could think of doing was closing my eyes and hoping the impact wouldn’t hurt too much.

“GD what do you think you’re doing,” someone called. I slowly opened one eye to see Se7en standing at the door.

“YA! This lil hurt Jang Hyun Seung,” GD replied shaking with me still in his grasp.

Se7en walked up to us as he pulled me out of his grasp and turned to GD, "GD so what you’re saying is that your little prodigy child was hurt by this lil girl?” Hey I ain’t that little. Rude!

GD looked at loss for words and exhaled deeply as he glared at me and pointed at me, “You better stay away from me if you know what’s good for you. He won’t always be here to save your !” He then turned and shouted at Jang Hyun Seung, “What the man, you let a lil girl punk you?! Man you got a lot to learn. Pick up your and lets go.”

“What a jerk,” I called after him only loud enough for Se7en and I to hear.

He sighed as he glanced over at me, “Minzy why did you have to hit him?”

“He called me a ,” I said in defense of my actions.

He shook his head as he gave me a serious look, “Does it matter?”

“Uh, yeah! How could you…”

“Did it hurt your feelings? Is that why you did it?”

“Whoa…” I began to explain my point, “I couldn’t let him talk like that to me.”

“Minzy you have to learn how to control your emotions. People will say things that are intentionally and sometimes unintentionally hurtful. But we can’t go around just picking fights now can we,” he questioned me.

“Well…I…if I don’t do anything then what,” I replied with a question.

“Then you be the bigger person and let that person be. That’s the best way to get back at them. They want to see you react to their comments, but by you not reacting to it. It back fires on them. Get it?” I nodded with understanding and he grinned at me as he pushed at my shoulder, “Now let’s go find Gummy.”

“I still don’t like the new guy,” I mumbled as I followed him out.

He chuckled as he looked back at me, “Well tough luck kiddo he’s gonna be a part of this family in a lil. You got to learn to deal with it.”

"Kiddo? I'm sixteen now thank you very much," I rolled my eyes as we walked through the halls. He only laughed at my comment as we spotted Gummy.

"Minzy what mess have you gotten yourself into this time," she cocked an eyebrow at me when she saw me with Se7en.

I shrugged my shoulders acting like I didn't know what she was talking about, "What?"

She sighed as she looked over to Se7en, "She hit GD's prodigy child."

I coughed a laugh at the tatter teller, "Thanks a lot big mouth!"

"Minzy!"

I gave her an apologetic smile, "Sorry?"

"Thanks Se7en, I'll take things from here," Gummy nodded for him to leave. As he was doing so I turned to scrunch my nose and stick my tongue out at him. He mimicked my actions as he laughed while I rolled my eyes and looked back to Gummy.

She had her hands on her hips with a look of expecting an explaination, "I couldn't control my anger. Sorry!"

"Minzy you can't be picking fights left and right especially with family members," she began her lecture. I nodded from time to time acting like I was listening when we came to my room. "Do you understand what I'm saying?"

"Yes mom. I got it," I pouted like a child.

She laughed as she ruffled my hair, "Good! Now get some rest. Tomorrow is a big day. You get to train in the dungeon for the first time and then we have to get ready for the initation for the guy you hit."

"Okay! Okay I understand."

"Alright, good night."

"Night," I waved.

Quickly jumping into bed, I force myself to fall asleep. I was excited to be able to train in the dungeon tomorrow, but then my night would end with the initation. The image of that rude guy came to mind. I don't like him. My gut tells me there's something wrong with him and I have yet to figure it out.

I awoke bright and early for my training this morning. Already dressed to go, I flung the door open at one knock to see Gummy smiling, "Well looks like someone is excited to train today."

"Yeah let's go!"

She laughed at my enthusiasm as we headed towards the dungeon. When we finally reached to door I pushed it open with a big smile on my face revealing the huge arcade. With all the lit up games before me, I was dying to get started. But my smile faded when that Taeyang guy stepped in front of me. I felt Gummy's arm on my shoulder, "You remember Taeyang right?"

I nodded as I walked up to him and grinned, "Morning."

"Morning," he nodded to me before looking to Gummy. "I'll see you later."

"See you later," I asked looking to Gummy.

She laughed as she nodded, "Yes see you later. Have fun in the dungeon!"

"But..." she walked out and closed the doors behind her leaving me alone with Taeyang. I thought I was going to enjoy this time in the dungeon.

"Alright let's get started," he said as he walked over to the race car games. "Pick one," he told me as he moved for me to see all my choices.

I saw the fake motorcycle and couldn't help but smile. Jumping on it I looked to him, "I wanna ride this one."

He shook his head as he pointed to another one, "No how about you try driving a car first before you try out a motorcycle."

I sighed as I hoped into the seat, "I thought I could pick one."

"What was that?"

I shook my head and smiled, "Nothing."

"Okay, well let's see how well you can drive," he said pushing a few buttons to select a car, and and area to drive at.

"Seoul city what a classic," I mumbled wanting to drive in the dessert instead. I heard him sigh as he looked at me seriously, "Sorry! I was just...I'm ready!" 

He nodded as he pushed start, "Go."

I thought it was hilarious how I had a seat belt. Buckling it, I reached to start the car, by turning the fake ignition but I figured it was their way of making it as real as possible. After shifting the gear to the letter d, I looked down and pushed on the gas pedal. "Oh my...oops," I giggled accidently hitting a mail box. It was kinda fun driving as I swerved left and right.

As I was reaching what looked like the finish line, Taeyang reached in and pushed stop. I looked at him for an explaination to see he was glaring at me. "This isn't a game! I need you to take this seriously! You're too slow at getting the car to go, what if you're being shot at and you're too ing busy buckling your seat belt!" He sighed as he started the game over again, "Do it again, but for real this time!"

Jeez! Anger issues! Nodding my head I did my best to start the car and get going faster. Stepping on the gas pedal as hard as I could I tried my best to keep control of the car, but I kept hitting things. He slammed the stop button and glared at me again, "What the hell are you doing?!"

"I don't know, I was trying to do what you told me too," I glared back.

"By hitting everything that is on the street?!"

"Damn sorry!"

"Sorry isn't going to cut it when you get caught by someone! Do it again," he nearly shouted at me.

Feeling anger building up I glared at him, "FINE! But you don't need to yell at me!"

He put his hands up as he stared coldly at me, "You don't want me to train you that's fine."

"Whaa...I didn't..."

Taeyang shook his head, "Go ahead drive the way you want. I'm leaving."

"Wait! I didn't say anything like that," I called after him. But he walked off leaving me alone. Sighing at how things turned out I tried a few more times on driving before I finally gave up.  "Well since I have this place all to myself, I should probably take advantage of it."

I looked at the various arcade games and smiled as I thought back to when Bom, Jung Byung Hee, and I would find ourselves playing at the arcades. One game in particular caught my eye as a flashing light was going around in a circle. I watched to see how the red button in front of it would light up and make it stop in a random spot. Walking over to the game, I pushed the red button and watched the light stop and the machine let out an alarm signaling that I didn't get it right. I watched as the light continued and stopped in front of another button letting out a siren that the machine had got it. Understanding that I had to get the light positioned in front of my button to win the game I waited and watched. With my hand over the button, I pushed it, to barely miss it.

"Shoot so close," a voice came from behind.

I looked to see Daesung smiling at me, "Hey."

He nodded as he stood by another button close by me, "Can I play?"

"Sure," I smiled as I refocused my attention onto the light going around in circles again. Within seconds Daesung hit his button and caught the light, making the siren ring. "Good one," I grinned as I watched the light go around again to be stopped by Daesung again. I coughed a laugh not believing how fast he caught the light again. "Let's try it again."

"Okay."

But sure enough he caught the light again! What the hell! "Dang I don't want to play anymore."

"Don't give up, I was just getting started," he laughed.

"Why so you can win again?"

"Patience Minzy, in time you'll get it," he smiled. "One more time?"

I sighed as I walked back to my button, "Fine."

I watched the light go around and pass Daesung who starred intently at the light. The light went around and around, "Are you going to get it or what?"

He laughed as he looked to me, "I was seeing if you could do it."

"Fine," I said as I watched the light. Patience...patience... " this game!" I shouted when I barely missed the light making the alarm sound.

"It's okay Minzy in time you'll get the hang of it. You just need to learn to have more patience," he smiled.

"Thanks," I said as I walked to find another game as he fell into step with me.

"What game are you going to play now," he asked.

I shrugged my shoulders not really knowing until I came to a door, "What does that lead to?"

"Laser tagging room," he grinned.

"Laser tagging," I squealed.

He laughed at my excitment, "Yeah did you wanna play?"

I nodded, "Yeah!"

"That's good, because I think they're all coming to play."

"Who?"

Within a few seconds I heard footsteps coming from behind me. I looked to see GD, Taeyang, Top, and Seungri. "Hey Minzy," Seungri smiled.

"Hi," I nodded at him.

"Are you ready to play," Top asked me.

"Huh?"

GD rolled his eyes at me, "Are you ready to get killed in there?"

Daesung nudged me in the arm and looked at me as if I should give some kind of comeback, "Yeah I'm ready to kick your asses in there?"

They all laughed except for GD who stood glaring at me, "We'll see about that!" He looked to Top and Taeyang, "You guys are with me."

"Whatever man, like Minzy said we're going to kick your asses in there," Daesung said as he put an arm onto my shoulder.

"Yeah you should've choosen me I'm the best at this game," Seungri smirked.

"Let's just save all the trash talk for after the game," Taeyang starred coldly at me.

"Let's get suited Minzy," Daesung pulled at my arm.

"Umm...okay," I turned to follow Daesung and Seungri. We walked through the door to see two doors, my group went into the one on the left while the others went into the one on the right.

I saw various laser tagging gear hanging on the wall and watched as Daesung and Seungri put theirs on. Copying them I put on the shin gaurds, the vest, and the helmet looking head gear. Strapping them tightly on me I saw the mic coming out of my head gear.

"Can you hear me," Daesung spoke through the head set. Both Seungri and I nodded and he smiled, "Good. Here Minzy," he said handing me the gun. "Hit them in the legs it's five points, chest is ten, and head shots are twenty. If possible try to get as many head shots okay? Once you're shot you are frozen in place for two minutes so that the person who shot you can make a run for it." I nodded as he continued to instruct us. "We know that Top is the brains of their team so he won't be stupid as to be walking around, so keep an eye out for him. Taeyang is probably going to be protecting Top so if we find him..."

"We find Top," Seungri grinned.

"Exactly! As for GD he's a lone wolf. He'll probably be running around, so keep your eyes open for that sneaky bastard," Daesung looked to me as I nodded.

"So what's our game plan," I asked.

"Don't get shot at and stay a close distance, but not too close," Daesung said. I nodded when the lights flashed, "Look like they're ready."

"Let's go," Seungri said as he neared a door and I watched as his vest glowed blue and looked to see mine did too.

I watched as Seungri ran out and then Daesung and I followed behind. I ran out with my gun in hand into a huge dark room with a few neon lights lighting the various paths. Running towards the closest one to me I ran until I heard a couple of shouts. Ducking down I crept around and saw a flash of light to the left of me. I turned to see a glowing red vest round the corner and shot my gun.

"," he shouted when I saw it was Taeyang.

I chuckled as I ran away, jumping onto some blocks. I looked around holding my gun close when I heard some foot steps coming close. Trying to turn without making any noise I looked around until I spoted a red vest. I grinned as I aimed my gun and shot at the head.

"," GD growled and I placed my hand over my mouth so he wouldn't hear me laughing. I watched as he stood in place waiting for his suit to unfreeze when I aimed for his head again. After two minutes I shot my gun again, only allowing him to move an inch, "!"

I laughed as I rolled away and decided it was best to move. Creeping around, I ran into Seungri and gave him a high five as we went seperate ways. As I was creeping away I heard someone shout out, "FOUND YOU!"

I jumped back and rolled to the ground when I saw a light coming my way to barely miss it. I shot my gun hoping to distract whoever shot at me and ran to hide. I ran into Daesung, "Where is he," he spoke into the mic. I pointed in the direction I ran from and he nodded. "Follow me, but not too close okay?"

I nodded and did what I was told. We crept around a corner and Daesung was shot. I hid behind him as he stood in place. There came various chuckles and it sounded as though all three of them were together. Idiots! I moved out from behind Daesung and shot at the three glowing vests.

"," Top shouted as all three stood in place.

Daesung laughed as he was unfrozen and walked up to Top and held his gun to his head, I to GD, and Seungri appeared out of nowhere to point his gun at Taeyang. "Now who's the one laughing," Daesung smirked. "Shoot them in the head," Daesung told us as they all unfroze making them freeze up again.

"Looks like we win," Seungri smirked as he gave Daesung a high five.

"Damn it, it's all your fault Taeyang! You should've stuck with the plan," GD shouted.

This caused Daesung and Seungri to laugh as they walked over to me, "Let's go Minzy. Let's let these losers argue to themselves." I nodded as I followed them back to the room and removed my gear.

"That was fun," I smiled to them at that my suit glowed brighter. "Whoa!"

"Minzy you had the highest score," Daesung laughed.

"Really?"

"I bet the other guys are going to be really pissed knowing who won over all," Seungri started to laugh with Daesung.

I walked out to see GD, Top, and Taeyang glaring at me, "What?"

"Don't be mad because she kicked your asses," Daesung said patting me on the back.

"Oh shut the hell up, it was only beginners luck," Top growled.

"Whatever, we better get Minzy to Gummy to get ready for tonight," Seungri smiled to me.

"Yeah so you can wipe the loser look off your faces," Daesung laughed with Seungri.

I laughed at his comment to get a glare from GD, "You think you're the don't you."

"I am the ," I teased along with Daesung and Seungri causing everyone to laugh except for GD who looked like he wanted to say something to me but didn't

 

"Talk about sore losers," I laughed with Daesung and Seungri.

"Who is," Gummy asked as we approached her.

"Oh GD, Top, and Taeyang just got owned by Minzy in laser tag," Daesung smiled.

"Yeah, well we better get going so we can get ready as well. Thanks for playing with us," Seungri and Daesung waved.

I smiled as I waved back before looking to Gummy who was grinning, "Good job."

"What can I say, I'm a natural," I teased.

She laughed as we walked up to my room. Opening the door I saw a beautiful black dress lying on my bed with black stilletoes. "Try it on," Gummy said as I was looking down at it.

"Okay," I smiled as I took the dress to the closet.

"Where are you going?"

"To change."

She laughed, "You can change right here. You don't need to hide. It's just us." I grinned as I nodded before changing into the dress. It fit perfectly, hugging my body and showing my curves. "Damn girl you look grown!"

I laughed as I put on the stilletoes and began to dance around, "I feel pretty!"

She smiled as she sat me down, "Good, now get showered and come back here so I can do your makeup okay?"

After my shower and putting back on the dress I made my way to my room to see that Gummy had her makeup all laid out on my bed, "I'm here."

"Great, have a seat," she smiled at me as she pulled up a chair for me to sit on.

I couldn't help but smile at her as she applied makeup on my face. It felt like she was like a second mom to me as we laughed from time to time as she was trying to explain to be on how to put on makeup.

"There all done," she said as she pulled away to get a full look at her work. "You look good!"

I smiled as I made my way to the mirror and looked to see that I did in fact look good. The thick eye liner making me seem dangerously y to my glossy lips of soft pink made me smile. "Thanks Gummy!"

"Okay let me go get ready and I'll have someone come and you to the hall okay?"

I nodded as I watched her leave before looking back to the mirror. Gummy did an excellent job as I spun here and there to look at how good I looked. I giggled feeling like a million bucks when I heard a knock at the door.

I opened the door to see Se7en in a black tuxedo with a smile on his face, "Ready to go?"

I felt nervous when I saw his smile and especially when he held out his arm to me, "Umm...thanks." I reluctantly took his arm and closed my door.

"So I heard you won the laser tagging," Se7en said as we entered the elevator.

"Yeah," I chuckled nervously. this is embarrassing!

"You look beautiful by the way," he said as the doors opened.

I bit my lip feeling my heart do flips as he said that, "Umm...thanks you look good too."

"Of course I do," he smiled proudly.

I coughed a laugh as I bumped my shoulder with his, "Never mind I take that back."

"Nope sorry you already said it," he teased before he opened the doors.

I wanted to say something, but was caught off guard to see the hall overflowing with people. They all were dressed in baggy clothes and bandanas making me feel like we over dressed for the occassion. "Are we supposed to be dressed like this," I whispered up to him.

"Yeah why?"

"Everyone seems to not be dressed," I said as he guided me past the crowd who were moving out the way for us.

"That's because we're different from them," he said as he came to a stop in front of the boss.

"Minzy welcome," the boss said and I bowed my head along with Se7en as he guided me over to the side. I looked to see Daesung and CL dressed like us and felt relieved.

I watched as Gummy came walking in with Seungri escorting her over to us. "Hi Minzy you clean up well," Seungri smiled at me.

"Thanks," I smiled.

"Whoa I escorted her here," Se7en teased as he tugged at my arm. I laughed as I shook my head.

There was chattering going on here and there as we all stood in place waiting. Though Se7en, Seungri, and Gummy were talking away I found myself looking around. I started to feel scared for some odd reason and I didn't know why.

"Minzy are you okay," Gummy asked me. I nodded my head not wanting to worry her as I looked back to see the doors burst oepn. The crowd went silent as they all moved revealing GD and the new guy. As I looked to Jang Hyun Seung I felt an uneasy feeling.

I reached out for Gummy's arm and whispered up to her, "Gummy I don't feel good about this."

"It's okay, this will be over in a bit," she reassured me as she focused her attention to the pair walking towards us.

I watched as Jang Hyun Seung bowed onto one knee as GD was handed the dagger to give to him. Not understanding why, I felt the need to inch myself closer towards them. The uneasy feelings grew as Jang Hyun Seung gripped onto the dagger tightly.

"Minzy where are you going," I heard Gummy whisper after me. But I looked back to her and nodded to let her know that everything was going to be okay. 

I stood closely behind them watching the new guy as the boss began to recite his little spill about the Young Gunna Family. I probably should be listening to what was going on since I didn't really listen when I went through it, but I was too occupied starring intently at the new guy.

"Minzy do you have anything to say," the boss asked making all the heads turn to me.

I didn't realized how close I stepped up to be right next to GD who was glaring at me, "Umm...no sorry." I heard Jang Hyun Seung cough a laugh as he smirked at me before turning back, "Alright then, let us continue."

I stepped back feeling the uneasy feelings eating at me, but I did it to draw the attention away from me. what is the matter with me?! I watched as the boss told him to sign the contract, he gripped the knife tightly and I ran out in front of him.

"SIGN THIS," he shouted as he threw the dagger.

I gasped at the sudden pain in my left shoulder. "," I shouted.

"You ing ," Jang Hyun Seung shouted as he ran up to me.

But Se7en came in between us punching the guy flat on his back, "What the was that?!"

He spit on the ground as he stood back up, "I'm going to kill your boss!"

There was gasps coming from the crowd as GD stood in shock. Though it hurt like hell I pulled the blade out of my shoulder letting blood stain my dress, " that hurt!"

"Take her to the hospital," the boss instructed Se7en.

Se7en was walking up to me when I pushed him out the way and shouted at the bastard who ruined my dress, "You dumb !" I punched him in the face as I spit at him, "You ruined my ing dress!"

CL laughed as she walked up and put her heel onto his chest and dug into it, "You never ruin a girl's dress!"

"Get off of me," he breathed. He then turned to glare at me, "You ruined my plan I was going to kill him!"

I winced at the pounding coming from my shoulder as I kicked him in the gut, "Shut up !" I walked out of the hall holding my shoulder when I heard Se7en call after me.

"Let me help you," he said as he opened the elevator for me.

"Thanks, but I think I can do this by myself. I basically have my own room there," I tried to laugh off the pain.

He chuckled as he got on with me. We came to the hospital and I looked to the first nurse I saw, "Is doctor YG here?"

"He's busy right now. But let me take care of this," she said as she tore off my left sleeve to adress my wound.

"OUCH," I hissed as she was cleaning it.

"Let's get you to a room."

I sighed seeing the same room I had been put in before and took a seat as the nurse continued to clean my wound. " could you be a little more gentle," I growled.

"Sorry," she apologized as she tried her best to clean it without hurting me more.

"Well aren't you just a little heroine," Se7en said making me look his way. I had totally forgotten he had came with this nurse hurting me.

"Huh? Look I'm fine you should probably go back," I said more so embarrassed because the nurse was tugging at my dress and it felt as though my would pop out any moment now.

"How did you know he was going to do that?"

"I don't know. I just felt weird about him and did the first thing that came to mind," I honestly said.

He shook his head as he folded his arms, "And look where it got you."

After being bandaged up Gummy came walking in the room, "Hey are you okay?"

I smiled at her motherly concern, "Yeah I'm fine." I turned to look at Se7en who was laughing with the nurse and felt something at the pit of my stomach like I wanted to vomit.

"Are you sure you're okay," she laughed as she took me by the good arm and guided me out.

"I'm fine really," I grinned as I tried to think of something else.

Se7en came up to us and handed Gummy a bag of what looked like some medicine, "Here, I'm going to chat a little bit with that nurse over there."

Gummy laughed while I on the other hand had that same feeling of wanting to vomit, cringe or something when he said that, "Thanks."

I felt her nudge me and give a look like I should say something to him as well, "Oh...thanks." I didn't look at him for some reason and continued to walk away.

I heard him laugh, "No problem, I'll see you guys later."

"What was that," Gummy asked as we entered the elevator.

"What was what," I asked knowing exactly what she meant.

"Minzy..."

I shrugged my shoulders and winced remembering that I had a blade in it just minutes ago, "I don't know." It was an honest answer. I really don't know why I acted like that towards him.
