Zelo gave him a small smile.

Zelo stood up in front of them.

"Promise you won't run away or anything?"

"Sure, whatever, get on with it already."

Impatient, I gestured him to the front.

He suddenly whirled around and when he was facing me again, what I saw wasn't Zelo.

It was hideous, completely robed in flimsy black layers.

He  had shot up another couple of feet.

His eyes were gone, his sockets covered with scabby skin. 

His mouth had disappeared, replaced with a large hole.

The rest of his body was covered up, only pale gray and decaying hands showed.

Youngjae hid behind Daehyun with a whimper.

Daehyun continued eating, furiously shoving chocolates into his mouth.

Yongguk tried to smile, but it was like all the air in the room had gotten out.

The temperature had dropped to freezing point.

Zelo turned back in a flash.

"Now you know why I didn't want to tell you."

I grinned. 

"Is it because you grew again?"

Zelo's eyes widened.

"You're not scared?"

"To be honest, I'm trying not to my pants right now."

Zelo ran over and hugged me.

"Thanks, hyung, for not running away."

I looked at Zelo sheepishly.

"And, I'm not sure what you are."

Loud slapping sounds were heard as everyone facepalmed.

"Himchan, you really are retarded." Youngjae said.

Zelo patted my knee.

"It's okay, hyung. I'm a dream eating demon. Well, half dream eating demon. People call us dementors."

He shrugged.

"We're not soul , we're dream eaters. People don't know that, and no one has really lived to clarify."

I let out a sigh of relief.

"Well, it could be worse."

His bright smile seemed to chase away any bits of coldness left in the room.
