It was excruciating.

I couldn't think straight because of all the pain.

The pain was so immense, I passed out.

It all went black.

The world cleared, my sight focused on the ceiling.

Getting up, yet again, my head pounded.

I tasted blood in my mouth, harsh and metallic.

I saw Zelo's limp body and crawled over, frantic.

"Zelo!? Are you okay?"

He didn't answer.

Seeing red, I looked over at the arrogant humans.

They were smirking, they were laughing at us.

My pupils dilated into slits and my fangs popped out.

Their eyes widened.

I was tired, in pain, angry, and hungry.

I hadn't fed for a while, and I couldn't control myself for much longer.

Leaping for their throats, I extended my fingernails, ready for the rich red liquid that I craved.

When the final man was completely dry of blood, I threw his carcass aside.

What I did didn't really register in my head.

I was too worried about Zelo.

I kneeled next to Zelo.

"Zelo... You have to get up. I know you don't like me right now, but at least get up for Yongguk.... What about Jongup? That babo will be traumatized..."

I sobbed silently, tears dripping onto Zelo's peaceful face.

After a few seconds of this, Zelo's face scrunched up, contorting his features.

He croaked out,"Hyung, you're making my face all wet."

I hit his chest over and over, now openly bawling.

"You , I was so ing worried."

Zelo grinned.

"I know."

He tried to get up, but he winced in pain.

I reached down and helped him up.

Brushing each other off, we linked arms and happily walked into the sunset.

Just kidding.

Like that would actually happen.

Vampire officers raced in and pushed me against the wall, putting heavy duty handcuffs on me.

"Kim Himchan, you're under arrest for the murder of these humans. This is a first class offense, and you may have...."

The rest of his words were drowned out.

I saw his lips moving, but I couldn't hear a thing.

I could only hear blood pounding through my ears.
