话题都十分普通 [hua-ti dou shi-fen pu-tong] =  Conversation topics are all very typical

*话题 [hua-ti] = Discussion Topic

-话 = Speech (what you say)

-题 = Question

So, literally the ‘Question of the whole speech’ --> Discussion Topic

*十分 [shi-fen] = Totally (lit. ten marks)

*普通 [pu-tong] = Common, Typical

为何心跳 异常汹涌[wei-he xin-tiao yi-chang xiong-yong] = Why is my heartbeat so abnormally fast

*为何 [wei-he] = Why

-为 means ‘why’, ‘what’s the reason for..’

-何 would be the ‘topic’, the questioned

So, literally ‘what’s the reason of ‘the questioned’’

* For those who are learning from me under the ‘Formal Tutorial’, I will soon introduce this after I have gone through the ‘Conjunctions’.

*心跳 [xin-tiao] = Heart beat

*异常 [yi-chang] = Abnormal, Not normal

-异 = Weird, not Typical, Different from norm

-常 = Normal, Typical

一举一动 在你面前 全被轻松看透 [yi-ju-yi-dong zai ni mian-qian quan bei qing-song kan-tou]

= Every movement in front of you can easily be seen through

*一举一动 [yi-ju-yi-dong] (a fixed phrase)  meaning ‘movements’, usually used with words like ‘see’, and it would mean that ‘All movements from (the person) are under supervision’.

*全 [quan] = All, Everything

*轻松 [qing-song] = Effortless

因为我 迷失在 你眼神的海 [yin-wei wo mi-shi zai ni yan-shen de hai]

= Because I’m lost in the sea of your gaze

*因为 [yin-wei] = Because

*迷失 [mi-shi] = Lost

-Both characters means ‘lost’.

*眼神 [yan-shen] = Gaze

*海 [hai] = Ocean, Sea

Depiction:

The previous sentence mentioned that ‘All movements are seen through by (the girl)’

and this sentence here is the reason:

‘Because I am lost in the sea of your gaze’.

Sounds crappy isn’t it?

However in Mandarin, it sounds ‘Poetic’ instead.

The writer wants to express that (the guy) is ‘lost in the eyes of the girl’ which means, the guys is mesmerised by the girl!

Using ‘Sea’ would mean that it’s large, huge and the guy got lost in the girl’s ‘sea of gaze’.

This probably means, he’s really really really mesmerised.

Now this sounds better and understandable, isn’t it? (:

I decided to do depictions now instead of at the end of the whole song, as I want you all to understand it while you listen to it.

I will alter the previous chapter if I need to.

This song uses quite a few analogies and I personally love this song a lot as it really sounds nice with the poetic lyrics.
