I looked at Zelo shocked and replied, “Y-Y-Y-You want to teach me how to skateboard????” Zelo smiled at me, nodded and said, “Yes!” A doubtful look washed over my face as I raised my eyebrows nervously and said, “Are you sure? I’m probably going to be really bad at it you know.” Zelo smiled once again, pleading with his eyes and replied, “Naw, I think you’ll be fine, come on, I even have an extra skateboard.” Zelo pulled out a skateboard from the back of his backpack. “Fine, fine, teach me,” I said while grabbing the other skateboard.

After I grabbed the other skateboard Zelo put his arm around me and we walked down to the skate park. Apparently Zelo had been here before because there were some people waving at him who he seemed to know. Some random guy came over to Zelo and said sort of quietly into Zelo’s ear, “Hey Junhong! Who’s the girl? Can she skateboard? She’s kinda cute, think you can get me her number?” It wasn’t quiet enough that I couldn’t hear it so I started blushing a little bit. Zelo waved him off and replied, “Back off Dongmin, I’m gonna each her how to skateboard today.” I giggled while covering my mouth and then nudged Zelo. Zelo nodded and said, “Okay, let’s go. Bye Dongmin, alright, let’s start, Hana.”

I smiled and stepped onto the skateboard. Zelo pulled me off and said, “Let me show you first.” I nodded and watched him…wow…he makes it look so easy…not fair. When he finished he came over to me and motioned for me to step onto the skateboard. I stepped onto the one he gave me and Zelo held out his hands for me to hold onto; I slipped my hands into his and tried to stay on the board while moving…at the same time, it was not nearly as easy as he made it look before when he was doing it. I leaned forward trying to move but it didn't seem to work. Our eyes met for a moment and I tried to look away but I just couldn't. His eyes just held my stare and I just couldn't look away.
