I walked to school this morning with Jongup hyung and it was nice until we got swarmed by a bunch of weird girls. But regardless of the swarming, I was happy today for some reason, maybe it was because I was excited to see Hana…I think I really like her. I asked Jongup hyung,

“How do you know if you like a girl?”

“Junhong, you like Hana, don’t you?”

“I think I do. It feels weird though, I don’t know. She is so different from the other girls I’ve met.”

Jongup laughed and said in reply, “Well, my young Junhong, how do you feel around her?”

“Eh. I’m only one younger than you, hyung. But when I spend time with her I feel so happy, she is so pretty too. She makes me nervous sometimes, when I’m around her and stuff. I don’t know.”

“One year can make a big difference sometimes. Junhong, I think you like her,” Jongup said while a smirk spread across his face. I pushed him to the side while I started laughing. I pulled out my skateboard and began skating down the sidewalk. “I wonder if Hana can skateboard,” I thought to myself while turning the corner. I hopped off and waited for Jongup to catch up. Why can’t I stop thinking about Hana??? I put my skateboard back onto my backpack and put my hands behind my head. I looked up, wondering why I can’t stop thinking about her, what makes her so different?
