“I need you.”

These three words waltzed in Kyuhyun’s mind like a dream. The musings he thought he would never hear were finally there, dancing in the air around him.

But they were all caught in a rush when Hyun Hee pulled him, quite frantically, towards the door and out of the room. After following her wordlessly, they ended up in the locker room.

“You need to get Heechul out of Hyomin’s apartment.” Hyun Hee said, facing him and finally letting go of his hand.

“Why would I do that?”  Kyuhyun asked. Immediately, his fantasies fell away from his mind.

“Because…”

She was hesitating.

Hyun Hee crossed her arms, “…I told you so.”

He shrugged, “Not enough. I’m not doing it.”

“What?!” she said, worry striking her features. 

He shook his head. He wanted to see how far he could push her.

“Come on, Kyuhyun. Please.”

She was so close to begging.

Then she stopped and took a step back.

“You can’t do it, can you?” Hyun Hee asked, raising an eyebrow.

“What? I’m saying I won’t do it, not that I can’t.”

“No, no. That’s just an excuse. You’re just really incapable of doing something as simple as that.”

She chuckled, “I mean, Heechul is far superior than you, isn’t he?”

Kyuhyun could read a challenge in Hyun Hee’s eyes. He would have ignored it and taken a step back, but no.

He liked challenges.

“You’re one hell of a girl, you know that?” Kyuhyun said, fishing for his phone inside his pocket.

“A girl has to do what she has to do.” she said, smiling. He loved seeing her smile like that.

Kyuhyun shook his phone in front of her face and she smiled even wider. He knew he had to do something first if this was going to be a success.

“Hankyung-hyung, have Heechul-hyung’s favorite ready. ASAP.”

He sent the message as soon as he was done.

After that, he picked out ‘Kim Heechul’ from his list of contacts and pressed the green button.

It was ringing.

“Ayo waddup.”

“Hello, Hyung?”

“Hyung?”

“Heechul-hyung!”

“Heechul-hyung? Kyuhyun-hyung, is this you? It’s Kris.”

“Kris?”

“Yeah, how’s it going? How’s your play?”

“It’s going really well. Do you want to say hi to our director?”

The director was glaring at him.

“Actually, I need to go right now. I have something to do.” Kyuhyun quickly said. “Watch the play, okay?”

“Sure. I hope our manager gives us time to do so. I’ll see you soon, hyung.”

“See you.”

He hung up. Hyun Hee still had the same expression on her face.

But what can he say? His juniors adored him.

“Sorry, sorry. I dialled it wrong. I’m doing it now.”

Making sure this time that it was, indeed, ‘Kim Heechul’ and not 'Kris Wu', he pressed the green button once more.

It took about three long rings before a voice broke in.

“Hello?”

“Heechul-hyung?”

“Hey! Kim Kyuhyun, my brother!”

“Heechul-hyung! Where are you right now?”

“Hyomin’s not here today, so I’m at her place.”
