Never Too Late."My name. My name is Hae?"
Myungsoo blinked at Haeun as she stared back at her. He laughed nervously and shook her head. "Funny, Hae-ah."
He expected her to laugh and tell him that she was just joking, but the girl just looked at him with confusion.
"No...." he breathed out. He slowly stood up and ran to the doctor's office leaving Haeun in her room.
He barged in without knocking and slammed his palms on the doctor's desk. "Why can't she remember her name? Why can't.. Don't tell me...."
The doctor closed his eyes and sighed as he handed Myungsoo some documents. "I regret to inform you, Mr. Kim, that the patient lost all of her memory. And it pains me to break this to you, but it's close to impossible...."
Myungsoo slowly looked up and waited for him to continue. "It's impossible for her to regain her memory.. I'm sorry. I'll contact your parents to tell them the news." The doctor bowed and left Myungsoo.
Instead of lashing out and causing trouble, Myungsoo just fell down on his knees as tears flowed down on his cheeks.
She doesn't know him anymore. She won't remember him. They're practically strangers.
