“Come on DooJoon!” JunHyung shakes his friends shoulder “You have been a good boy for 4 weeks now just come with me to this party! It’s bloody Thursday and you don’t have to work so what is stopping you?”

DooJoon chuckles and pushes JunHyung away “A good boy?”

“Yeah you have become very boring DooJoon” JunHyung mumbles and crosses his arms “You stay at home and when you finally do come out with your friends you go home early. You know the perks with a job like yours is that you don’t have to get up early in the mornings”

DooJoon nods “Yeah I think I have been taking plenty advantage of that already. You know I have been wondering why so many of my friends don’t have jobs they need to get up to in the morning…”

JunHyung scowls at him “We are people who prefer living life”

“There are several ways to live life” DooJoon smiles

“What do your boyfriend do all week?” JunHyung frowns.

DooJoon looks down to the side and frowns as well but not an annoyed frown like JunHyung, it is more a sad frown “He isn’t my boyfriend and you know that very well”

JunHyung sighs and looks down “Sorry. Still nothing huh?”

DooJoon sighs as well “I don’t know what more to do”

“Can’t help you with that but I think you should come with me. HyunSeung is having the party today so you could come. You can’t disappoint him” JunHyung pushes DooJoon who nods and looks at him “Is Gi Kwang coming?”

“No he hads plans” JunHyung pushes DooJoon again trying to get him to act.

“What plans?” DooJoon frowns

“I don’t know” JunHyung sighs “Go change”

DooJoon sighs “Okay but I’m not getting drunk”

“Yea whatever” JunHyung grins just happy DooJoon agreed to going.

DooJoon walks to his bedroom and pulls of his shirt considering what to wear. This is the first party he is going to since that day at Uruha’s apartment. He just don’t want to risk getting tempted but he does miss the time he used to have with his friends.

He thinks back at the time since he realized he had fallen for Uruha. In so many ways his life has changed and that for the better. He is closer with Gi Kwang an can now tell the difference between real friends and the ones you can only stand when you are drunk. The best thing is that he got in contact with his dad and his new family. Thankfully DooJoon hadn’t slept with YoonJa’s daughter but she did know about his ways and she was a bit reluctant towards him but when she heard that he is in love with Uruha she lightened up and they three youngsters spend a lot of time talking about the club while his dad and YoonJa smiled happily.

DooJoon and his dad really had a chance to talk things out and it is nice to know he has his support.

Overall DooJoon really feels like he is doing well. He just wished Uruha would be his but he isn’t gonna rush it. He knows Uruha is there when he is ready. He wants to find himself with Uruha but Uruha just shakes his head and tells him that won’t happen. It hurts DooJoon but he doesn’t say anything because he is afraid that if he says something they will have to talk and Uruha might realize the reason he still doesn’t think DooJoon is ready is because he simple doesn’t think he will be.

When he is done changing he looks at himself in the mirror. He doesn’t look tired or starved like he did the two first weeks. He tilts his head looking at his figure thinking how perfect it would be to see Uruha next to him. He fixes his hair and turns his head looking at it from different angles. He seems older… or maybe not older but wiser for sure. When he looks in his own eyes he doesn’t just see the DJ with a cocky smile. He sees a seriousness that scares him some days. It is like his whole life suddenly became a whole other. He can’t just think of himself as himself anymore.

DooJoon straightens his back and smiles. He feels good about who he is becoming. He feels confident without feeling like he is better than everyone else. He puts on a watch and sends a last look to the mirror frowning for a second. Does he trust himself enough to drink? Will he go back to his old ways? He inhales deeply and slowly blows the air out before walking out to JunHyung who is impatiently sitting on the couch.

“Let’s go” DooJoon smiles.

A loud knocking on his front door wakes Uruha up from his sleep. He frowns unhappily and gets out pulling on some clothes rather quickly as he heads towards the door “Who is it?” he tries calling but it ends up as tired and muffled which off course doesn’t get a response. Uruha sighs and unlocks the door. He opens it stares directly into the face of a clearly very drunk DooJoon who doesn’t look too happy.

“I kissed her” DooJoon mutters and Uruha slams the door closed.
