That evening when DooJoon arrives at the L.I.F.E. he looks for Uruha but doesn’t spot him anywhere. He changes and walks straight past the bar where Hyorin sends him a weird look “Hey DooJoon?”

“Huh?” he turns and looks at her frowning at him “No flirting today?”

DooJoon just shrugs and walks over to his DJ stand.

“Why are you looking like you saw an alien?” The other bartender at the ground floor HimChan walks over and places a box in front of her.

“He didn’t flirt with me” Hyorin says frowning

HimChan laughs “Maybe you don’t look that good today”

“Ay!” Hyorin hits HimChan who runs away laughing. He runs straight past DooJoon who sends him a weird look as he circles him and runs back. His eyes follow HimChan and he spots Seungho and Aoi walking through the room.

Ruki shows up late as he so often does, this time together with Uruha who is normally one of the first ones to show up.

DooJoon breathes a bit relieved but frowns when he sees DongHae with them. He takes his phone out looking at the screen. Uruha didn’t call him back at all. He decides it is probably best to stay clear of him today. When he is sure he is ready for tonight he walks to the backstage room and takes a seat next to the entrance to the stage. Ruki is the first to enter “Ey DooJoon are you fresh?” He grins as if everything is back to normal. DooJoon smiles a little “Not really”

“Well better be” Ruki pats him on the shoulder. DooJoon looks at him wondering why he isn’t saying anything about Uruha but he is not gonna be the one bringing the topic up. Aoi and Uruha enter shortly before DooJoon has to go out on stage. Uruha grins as he sits next to Ruki “I told you”

“Told me what?” Ruki frowns. DooJoon frowns as well, Uruha didn’t even say hi to him.

“That a banana could be a good substitute” Uruha smirks. Aoi smirks as well and looks at how Ruki’s face turns into a disgusted frown “Stop that!” Ruki holds up a finger trying to make Uruha be quite

Uruha grins “DongHae agrees”

Ruki pushes him “I don’t want to know that!”

DooJoon frown considering what it is about the banana.

“I’m just saying if you want to know what it feels like a banana would be a good substitute” Uruha is clearly messing with Ruki who covers his ears “I don’t wanna hear that! Don’t tell me that”

Aoi sends a look to DooJoon who frowns still not sure what is going on. Aoi smirks “Apparently a banana and a can be used for the same things”

DooJoon blushes “Is that what they are talking about?”

“Yes” Uruha nods his way

DooJoon frowns “That is disgusting”

“Thank you!” Ruki yells “See it is not just me!”

Uruha turns his head back towards Ruki “Homophobe”

“NOT!” Ruki complains “But you just ruined banana’s for me. I will never be able to eat a banana again! Oh god the mental picture” he covers his eyes with his hands and stomps the ground

Aoi looks at DooJoon “You have to go now”

DooJoon nods “See ya in a bit”

He leaves and Uruha sends a look after him.

“Is it true you didn’t ask him out today?” Ruki changes the subject as soon as the door closes behind DooJoon. Uruha nods “Yeah. I’m not gonna ask him again” He smiles a little “Can we not talk about that?”

Ruki nods “Sure”

“I think you should go back to the banana thing” Aoi smirks and Ruki throws a pillow at him “Shut up!”

The night is going as normal. Nothing seems to have changed although DooJoon does notice that Uruha isn’t coming near him.

During Uruha’s break DooJoon also notice how Uruha goes to meet a guy in the crowd. He misses his cue to change a song when he sees them going up the stairs to the VIP floor. He doesn’t notice until Uruha frowns his way. DooJoon quickly turns his focus back to his work.

When he has a break he walks backstage. Normally he would scan the room for girls but he just needs to gather his thoughts. He sits in the couch and turns his attention to the screen showing views of the club.

He walks over to a computer put up in the corner. Aoi sometimes uses it to keep an eye on everything as people start entering the club. DooJoon goes to the time at Uruha’s break and looks at the VIP floor. He spots Uruha and the strange man at the bar chatting with a very happy looking DongHae. He turns the computer off and walks back over to the couch as he gets a text.

It is from Min who asks why he isn’t dancing with her during his break. He puts the phone away and hurries out to find her, he had completely forgotten she was even there.

She is dancing not far from the stage and DooJoon joins her with a slightly forced smile. He can’t stop himself from looking up at Uruha and Aoi who are smiling at each other leaning back to back up on stage.

Ruki joins in and kisses Uruha’s cheek to the great amusement of the crowd. The shows always have that hint of flirting which just adds to the excitement of the place and many people come just for the performance set up by the three Japanese guys.

Up in the VIP section EunHyuk has been keeping an eye on DooJoon. When DongHae has his break he takes a seat next to his boyfriend keeping a small distance so they don’t look too obvious “So what have you learned?” DongHae looks down at the stage.

EunHyuk found a great spot with a view of the stage and the dancef-loor “Well” He points at DooJoon “I hope he is more focused normally”

“Yeah I don’t know what has gotten into him” DongHae frowns “He has never missed a que before”

EunHyuk smirks “Never?”

“Never” DongHae confirms. EunHyuk chuckles “It happened right after me and Uruha started up the stairs”

“You think it is connected?” DongHae frowns

EunHyuk smirks “Well he was looking our way that is for sure” DongHae snaps his fingers “You know yesterday when I told Uruha about you he got so happy he hugged me and kissed my cheek, I am sure I saw DooJoon frowning at us”

“Well I have been watching him during his break and even though he has been dancing with a very hot girl he was looking at the stage at the guys he watch every night at work” EunHyuk smirks and DongHae chuckles and looks at DooJoon

EunHyuk grins “I think we should try something out”
