Singing in the Rain - Chapter 2
Singing in the Rain | Sequel to Dancing in the Rain
Yun visibly frowned in her sleep, feeling a bit cold after Ricky had let her go. He chuckled at his girlfriend as he watched her try to cling back to him. "I have to go." he whispered as he pecked her lips then got out of bed.
Yun sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Do you really have to go?" she asked as he picked out his clothes.
"I wished I didn't; that way I could spend more time with you." he said. "But, even you're busy today. Don't you have a photo shoot and a commercial?"
"Yes but you're going to Japan for who knows how long."
He chuckled. "I'll be back within two weeks. Then we'll be filming our first drama together and we'll have all the time to be with each other." Yun pouted. "Come with me to the airport? The others missed you too." She smiled and nodded then ran to the bathroom to get ready.
The two walked into the airport hand-in-hand and saw a group of familiar boys. "Oppas~" Yun called out, getting their attentions.
"Ah, so that was where our little Ricky went." smirked L.Joe.
"He always goes to see her whenever we have a break, hyung." commented Changjo as he pulled her into a hug.
"Yah, don't hog her to yourself." complained CAP as he got her away from his dongsaeng and hugged her.
Yun giggled as she hugged the remaining members; however the only member who didn't want a hug from her was their emotional voice, Niel. Instead, she bowed to him like she always did before. "TEEN TOP, hwaiting!" she said as she pumped her fist.
The group laughed and Ricky kissed her one last time before leaving. "See you in two weeks." he said.
She smiled. "Talk to you tonight."
He laughed. "Of course!" he waved as they left.
"Yun!" She turned around and saw her manager wave at her. "We're going to be late!"
"Coming!" she yelled as she ran.
"Hyung." called Ricky. Niel turned back to look at him. "Are you okay?"
He nodded. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Ricky looked down at the ground. "Never mind then." he said. 'You keep avoiding her since the accident.'
Yun sighed as she sat in her chair, waiting for her makeup to be done. "Remember to do your best." said her manager.
She smiled. "I wouldn't be Yun if I didn't do my best, Saemi unnie!"
Saemi laughed. "Cheeky brat." she said as she pinched Yun's cheeks.
"Ow! Unnie! That hurts!" she complained as she tried to get away from the older female.
Saemi smiled then let her go. "Now, about that boyfriend of yours...."
"What about Changhyun?"
"There's nothing going on between you two, right?"
Yun looked at her confused. "He is my boyfriend." she stated, but Saemi gave her a stern look making her blush. "ANNI!The most we ever do is kiss! Changhyun is a gentleman; he won't do anything to me!" she squeaked as she tried to hide her burning face from her manager.
Saemi laughed. "Okay okay; I already knew that. Just be wary, Yun. I know the whole media knows that you two are dating, but just be careful."
Niel and Chunji were seated together on the plane. They wouldn't arrive in Japan for another hour and the rest are asleep. Niel looked out the window as the clouds. He sighed as it bought back unwanted memories. He leaned back and closed his eyes, but only one thing popped into his mind. He took out his cell phone and stared at the wallpaper.
"You still love her, don't you?" asked Chunji as he took off his headphones.
Niel closed his phone and put it away. "I don't know what you're talking about, hyung."
He sighed. "Daniel, we'd been together for three years now; we all know each other inside and out."
"She's happy; that's all that matters. I'm glad that she doesn't remember our relationship." he replied as he looked back out the window.
"You really don't mean that."
"But I do. She's much happier with Changhyun then when she was with me. Plus, the media and fans approve of their relationship and we both know how hard that is."
Chunji sighed again. "Whatever you say, Daniel. Whatever you say."
