Minho dried his hair as he walked towards the door. "I'm coming! I'm coming!" he yelled as he opened the door. He blinked. "Niel, what are you doing here? Yun is out today."

Niel kept his eyes on the ground. "That's okay, hyung." He turned to leave, but Minho stopped him, sensing that there was something wrong. 

He nodded his head towards the living room. "Come in and have a set. I'll go get some tea or something." Minho let him in then walked to the kitchen. 

Niel walked into the living room, but paused and picked up a picture frame near the door. He slightly smiled as he saw that it was a picture of him and Yun together; their arms were looped together and they were making a large heart to the camera. "You should be with me, not him." he whispered.

"Niel." He turned his head and saw that Minho was standing there with two steaming cups. They went into the living room and Minho sat across from the younger boy after handing him his cup. "You're upset about this whole ordeal, aren't you?" Niel didn't respond. "Honestly, I didn't want her to date Ricky. I kept resisting, waiting for you to do something, but you never did."

"I didn't know this was happening." whispered Niel.

Minho sighed as he took a sip from his cup. "They always say, 'all is fair in love and war.'"

"But it's not fair hyung!" yelled Niel. "I... I really did lose my chance with her... and it hurts... it hurts so much hyung...." His last words came out as a whisper as tears flowed down his cheeks.


The PD nodded his head, approving Niel's acting during the scene. Both Yun and Ricky were watching from the sidelines. Ricky, who had his arm around Yun's waist, tightened his hold as he continued to watch this scene.

'He's very good.' she thought then leaned back against Ricky after feeling a bit lightheaded. She slowly bought her hand up to her head and squinted her eyes.

He looked down at her and gently grabbed her hand. "Are you alright?" he whispered.

She looked at him then nodded. She turned her attention back to Niel but as she continued to watch his scene, she felt her chest tighten and she was having trouble breathing. She tightly closed her eyes when she felt the world spin and before anyone knew it, she collapsed in Ricky's arms.

Ricky stared at her with wide eyes. "Y-yah...!" he slightly shook her but she didn't respond. He looked around and saw that everyone was mainly focused on the filming. He picked her up bridal style and ran towards the dressing rooms. He laid her down on one of the couches then tried to wake her up again. "Please wake up! Yun!"

Saemi walked into the room. "Ricky, what are you-" but she stopped mid-sentence and dropped the cup of water that she had in her hands. "WHAT HAPPENED!?"

Ricky looked up to her, fear in his eyes. "I-I don't know... she just fainted. Noona! I don't know what to do!"

She put her hands up. "It's okay. First calm down. I'll take her to the hospital; you stay here."

He shook his head. "I'm not leaving her!"

"How do you think she would feel that you missed your filming because of her!?" Ricky stopped. He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Saemi sighed then put Yun on her back. "Stay and film. After you're done, go to the hospital." She left the room, leaving Ricky there.


Yun nervously tugged down her school skirt as both Niel and she were sitting across from her father. He looked at the two teenagers in front of him; his lips pressed again forming a straight line. "I don't know about this, Yun." he stated.

Niel tightened his grip on her hand. "Sanghyun-nim, I fully respect you as our composer and as Yun's father, but I'm asking you to please consider it."

Park Sanghyun frowned. "Daniel, I know very well how harsh the media would be if they were to ever find you two out."

"I will protect her; I promise."

Yun looked at him. She saw the determination he had in trying to convince her father into letting them go out yet here she was, too nervous to say anything to help their defense. She took a deep breath then looked up at her father. "Appa." she called out, making both males look at her. "I understand that you're worried, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't know what I was getting myself into."

"What if you are attacked by one of his sasaeng fans and he isn't around?"

She bit her lip. "I will defend myself, appa. After..." she paused. "After everything that I'd been through because of Hyuna, one, I don't think it would be as worst and two, I know how to defend myself in those situations."

Sanghyun sighed. "Okay, I will approve of this relationship for now, but if anything happens that neither of you can handle then I will do something about it. Araso?"

The two nodded then looked at each other with a smile on their faces.


Ricky rushed to the hospital as soon as he was finished with his filming. He ran into her room that Saemi had texted he about. When he laid eyes on her, his breath was caught in his throat. She was lying there with an IV stuck in her arm. He steadily walked up to her and gently held her free hand.

"The doctors said that she would be fine." commented Saemi as she got up from her seat to let him sit. "They said that it was just stress; she'll be released once she wakes up." She looked at the younger boy, but it didn't seem that her words had got through to him. She sighed. "I leave you alone for a bit." she said as she exited. 

Ricky sat there, her hand in his. As he watched her, he felt helpless. He never wanted to ever see her in the hospital again after the accident over a year ago. Yet, here she was and he couldn't do anything about it except relive a memory.


He held onto her hand tightly as he hoped that she would be able to pull through this. It's been over a week and she had yet made any movements to recovery. Her room was now filled with flowers and stuffed animals from their classmates that hoped for her recovery. 

He had been by her side any chance he got and saw everyone that would enter her room. His hyungs were the most common visitors since she was a dear friend to them all. Niel had been in her room a couple of times, but he never could stay too long because the guilt was eating him up.

'At least her condition has stabilized.' he thought as he looked upon her mask covered face. He felt so helpless; he was only sitting there while she was fighting to wake up... that is, if she does wake up. Even the doctors are starting to doubt whether or not she would wake up. 

"Yun... this accident made me realize something... something important, but I doubt that I can tell you, not when I know that you're in love with Daniel hyung." he said out loud, but he didn’t know that someone outside had overheard him.
