Eunkyung's POV

“Let go!” I raised my voice and shook my arm to get him to release his grip on me. “Now, now, no need to get feisty, woman.” He growled and I shrunk back in fear, he didn’t look that amused anymore. I glanced around, hoping to catch sight of Sehun, but he wasn’t anywhere visible. Why did the bathroom have to be so far away from our spot??

“Come on, just admit that you came alone. Come with us and have some fun! There’s no one else here!” He pulled me against his chest and I froze. There was no point in fighting back, he was much stronger than me and I would never be able to outrun him in flip-flops. I inhaled deeply and tried not to cry, you have to be strong Eunkyung. I stepped back from him, with his hand still gripping onto my arm, and shouted Sehun’s name as loud as I can.

A hand slapped my face and I whipped my head towards the side in pain. I touched my cheek and fell to my knees. That slap stung. A lot. I bit my lip from screaming and kept my head down. “Now come with me and keep your little mouth shut or else I’ll tape it shut for you.” The guy whispered menacingly and I kept glaring at him, thinking of all the curses I could come up with. He yanked me harshly by the arm but I refused to stand up. “Do you want to walk with me or do I have to drag-“

He didn’t finish his sentence and I felt his grip on my arm loosen. I looked up to see what happened and there Sehun was, punching the living daylights out of the guy. I stared at the scene in horror and saw that the other guys still at the far back had saw what was going on, and was rushing over. I tugged on Sehun’s arms and pointed at the guys, “Let’s go before they catch us!!”

Sehun grunted and pulled me along with him. I quickly slipped off my flip-flops and ran with him. If we got caught now, we’d be outnumbered. We ran all the way to where his backpack was and he slung it over his shoulder before running again back to the carpark. I opened the door and slammed it shut, examining my face in the mirror while Sehun started the engine and sped off. He was driving so fast that I didn’t dare move, afraid that the tiniest bit of movement might distract him. And I didn’t want to die in a car accident this early. I saw that his face was filled with pure anger, yet his eyes showed hurt and regret.

He finally slowed down after getting away from the beach, and I realized that we were in the park where I had broke down and cried all night after the Kai incident. Sehun stopped the car and got out, joining me in the backseat.
 

“Are you okay? Did they hurt you? What happened?” Sehun blasted all these questions at me, obviously worried to death. I couldn’t control myself and finally let the tears out of my eyes. “I-I was so s-scared…where were y-you?” I muttered in between sobs. He hugged me and apologized uncontrollably, “I’m so, so sorry, I couldn’t see where you were and I only realized that you were taking so long when you didn’t come back in 5 minutes. I heard a yell in the distance that seemed to match your voice, and sprinted over there as fast I could. Then I saw that bastard holding onto you, and…I just lost it. I’m so sorry Eunkyung…I wish I was there sooner…” Sehun’s voice broke and I knew he was deeply angry with himself for not saving me earlier.
