Unforgivable Part 1

We Used to be Enemies?

"Jessie, get up." Tiffany said, fixing her necktie. She was already in her uniform and looking in the mirror.

'I don't feel good..." Jessica said, sleepily. "I'll just stay home."

Tiffany walked over to the brunette, who was still wrapped up in bed. She placed her hand on Jessica's forehead. "You seem to have a slight fever." Tiffany let out a sigh. "Sooyoung will be worried."

"I'll tell her..." Jessica said, she was holding onto the pendant around her neck thinking about her dream. "I'll be fine. Just go to school."

"If you say so." Tiffany said, shrugging. "Bye." She walked out of the room and quietly closed the door behind her.

Jessica immediately sat up and dialed a number on her phone. She bit her lip anxiously waiting for the person she was calling to answer.

"Sica?" Sooyoung's voice answered the phone, causing Jessica to smile. "Is something wrong?"

"No." Jessica said, lying back in bed. "I just wanted to hear your voice."

"Is that so?" Sooyoung asked, Jessica could tell the girl was smiling by the tone of her voice. "Sorry, but I won't be coming to school today."

"Huh? Wae?" Jessica asked, concerned.

"I'm just running a slight fever." Sooyoung said, her voice was calm. "So, my sister said she wants me to stay home today."

"Oh. I see." Jessica said. "Well, it's a good thing I'm staying home today too then."

"What?" Sooyoung's voice was full of concern and panic. "Wae? Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

Jessica couldn't help but giggle. "Soo, I'm fine." She got out of bed and made her way down to the kitchen. "I have a slight fever too."

"Oh." Sooyoung said, slightly calmer. She let out a sigh of relief. "Well, you better get some rest."

"But I want to talk to you." Jessica said, pouting. Sooyoung giggled at the sound of the brunette's voice. "Besides, I still have to make my breakfast."

"How about I come over?" Sooyoung said, causing Jessica to become flustered.

"C-come over?" Jessica said, stuttering. "Wh-what for?"

"To make my princess breakfast of course." Sooyoung said with a smile. "And to take care of her because she's sick."

"W-well, if you want to..." Jessica said, sitting at the kitchen counter. "Then that's fine with me."

"Okay. I'm coming over right now. Sooyoung said. Jessica could hear ruffling in the background followed by a thud. "S-see you soon!"

Jessica giggled. "Okay. Bye." She then ended the call.

Jessica quickly headed up the stairs and changed out of her pajamas. When she came back downstairs, she was wearing track pants and a plain white shirt. She had her hair brushed and braided, she sat on the couch in the living room and the TV as she waited for Sooyoung to arrive.

-----Sooyoung-----

"Soojin, I'm going over to a friend's house." Sooyoung said, looking through her closet.

"I thought you were staying home." Soojin said, leaning against the door frame. She had her long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail.

"It's okay." Sooyoung said, pulling out a black t-shirt with a pair of jeans. "I'm going to take care of my friend. She's sick."

"Is this friend Jessica Jung?" Soojin asked, crossing her arms.

Sooyoung turned to her sister, her cheeks were flushed. She nodded, shyly. Soojin let out a sigh.

"Sooyoung," Soojin started. "I know you love her but-"

"I know. I know." Sooyoung said, turning away.

"I haven't even said what I was going to say yet." Soojin said, pouting.

"But I know what you're going to say." Sooyoung said, holding onto the pendant around her neck. "I don't want to hear it."

"Does she know?" Soojin asked, her voice was full of concern. Sooyoung shook her head. "You have to tell her sooner or later."

"Soojin, I don't want to hear it." Sooyoung said, turning to her sister. Tears streaming down her cheeks. "I really don't want to hear it."

"Soo, I'm sorry." Soojin went over and hugged her now crying sister. "I didn't mean to make you cry. I just don't want to see you get hurt again."

"I-it's just really h-hard..." Sooyoung said, sniffling. "I don't know how I'm supposed to tell her..."

"Sooyoung, what do you think would've happened if you weren't there?" Soojin asked. "You would've been hurt even more. Did you ask her about the necklace?"

"No..." Sooyoung said, rubbing her eyes. "She probably thinks it was her that gave it to her."

"How can you be sure?" Soojin said, releasing her sister.

Sooyoung frowned. "I'll just have to find out." She grabbed her clothes off of the bed. "I need to go change." She left her sister and walked into the bathroom.

At Jessica's house, Sooyoung had cooked breakfast for the two of them. Jessica ate happily with Sooyoung at her side. Sooyoung couldn't help but stare at the pendant around her neck.

If you knew that I gave that necklace to you, would you be disappointed that it wasn't from your first love? Sooyoung thought to herself.

"Are you okay?" Jessica asked, snapping Sooyoung out of her trance.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine." Sooyoung said, smiling.

"Um... Soo," Jessica said, looking down at her plate. "I have a question. I'm not sure if you'll know the answer but I want to ask anyway."

"What is it?" Sooyoung looked over at the brunette.

"D-do you remember when I got into that accident?" Jessica asked, looking up at the taller girl. Sooyoung just nodded. "Did you ever come visit me? In the hospital I mean."

Sooyoung swallowed hard on her food. "Y-yeah."

"Do you know who the person that saved me was?" Jessica asked, she was crossing her fingers.

Sooyoung bit the inside of her lip. "I-I..." What do I do? Maybe I should ask about HER first. Yeah. I'll do that. "I have something to ask you first."

"W-what?" Jessica asked, tilting her head.

"Do you remember a girl? Someone you dated before your accident?" Sooyoung furrowed her brows.

Jessica nodded her head, causing Sooyoung to frown. "But I can't remember her face or name. Wae?"

"Because I won't forgive her for what she did." Sooyoung said sternly.
