Managing My Exs
“GO! GO! GO!” the PD yelled as the cameras started to roll. Tiffany watched on from the sidelines while Exo-K performed their piece on the music programme. Fans screamed and chanted their names as they switch turns singing.
Tiffany couldn’t help but smile when Kai came out to the front and started to dance. He looked so cool, in control and...hot. he caught her looking and flashed her a smile before continuing his dance. Tiffany looked around to see if anyone noticed. When no one reacted, tiffany couldn’t help herself but blush.
Kai must’ve saw because he smirked at the camera as he backed into the line and D.O came out to sing his part of the song.
The performance went well without any cuts or mistakes, which made the PD very happy and the shoot was over before schedule. Chanyeol and D.O had other work so they left straight after the performance. While the rest of the group went back home to rest.
Baekhyun didn’t say anything to Tiffany all day, despite the kiss they shared. She wanted to say something to him but he was already in his room before she could get him alone to talk. Suho and Sehun were on the sofa, playing their video games, yelling at each other as gun fire sounded the whole room.
Kai sat on the far end of the room, pretending to read a book because tiffany saw him up at her more than once in the past minute.
“HA! I WIN!” Sehun jumped up and did a little dance, waving his hands into Suho’s face. Tiffany couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction.
“grow up” Suho mutters, embarrassed that he lost to Sehun, who never plays video games.
“you lost, you lost” Sehun chanted, Suho looked over at tiffany for some help but she just shrugged her shoulders, still laughing.
“I’m going out to get some food” Suho announced. Sehun stopped chanting and jumped up as well.
“I want to go too. get some ice cream” he said, hurriedly grabbed his wallet and disguise so Suho won’t leave him behind.
“be careful please guys” tiffany warned them. they flashed her a big smile before going out. Their voices faded down the hallway before disappearing all together then the door closed.
Tiffany looked over at the only person still in the room with her and wasn’t surprised that he was looking at her as well.
“what’s that book Kai?” she asked, breaking the awkward silence. He didn’t say anything but rather lifted up the book to show her the front cover. ‘I’ll tell you but I have to kill you’ says the front cover.
“that’s...creative”
“just joking. It’s a custom made front cover” Kai flashes her a smile as he showed her the actual cover of his book, which made her burst out laughing.
“Cinderella?”
“hey, she’s awesome. Don’t diss Cinderella” Kai faked scold as he bought the book up to his face.
“awww, I'm sorry” tiffany cooed as she walked over and sat on his arm chair, overlooking the colourful pages.
“cute” she muttered before messing up with Kai’s hair. He yelped in surprised. Tiffany got out of the arm chair and started to run because she knew he would be following. Soon enough, she could hear Kai calling out to her.
“no, no, no” she screamed when she heard Kai getting closer. He laughed when his hand just missed her shirt. They burst onto the balcony and ran around the lounge where she slept out last night. Tiffany yelled when Kai’s arm looped around her waist and spun her around.
“caught you!” he announced before settling her down.
Tiffany was breathing hard from the running and so was Kai. But her breath stopped when she saw how he was looking at her. his eyes were hooded and his lips parted a little when he looked down at her lips.
“Tiffany” he started and she knew right away what was going to come out after. And she really didn’t want to hear it yet.
“oppa” she interrupted but before she could ready herself, his lips came down on hers. It was the same as she remembered. Soft, tender, gentle.
Her eyes closed and she began to—
“what the hell?” the sound of his voice broke the spell and tiffany pushed herself away to face Baekhyun at the door. his face was filled with different emotions as he looked between tiffany and Kai. His eyes were filled with betrayal when he looked at tiffany and hatred when it landed on Kai.
“I’m going to kill you” Baekhyun charged and tiffany could see Kai bracing himself. A smirk paste on his face, which made Baekhyun, came faster.
Tiffany yelled for them to stop when Baekhyun’s fist connected with Kai’s jaw and a sickening crack filled the air. In a split second, Kai returned the punch into Baekhyun’s stomach.
Tiffany yelled for them to stop and looked around for help but no one else was home. no one was listening to her. Kai grabbed Baekhyun’s shoulder and repeatedly hit him on the jaw, blood splutter out from his lips and down his shirt.
A punched from Baekhyun sent Kai stumbling back. Baekhyun didn’t waste any time when he threw a punch at Kai and got on top of him as they landed on the ground. Tiffany wanted to help but she didn’t know what to do.
“STOP IT!” she screamed, there was blood on both their faces. No one was backing down.
There were more thuds and grunts as each receive a punch. Leaving her with no choice, tiffany jumped in between them, trying to break them up when Baekhyun has Kai in a headlock. She forcefully grabbed Baekhyun on the shoulder and pulled him wither her strength, hoping Kai would get free.
“STOP! THIS IS STUPID!” she yelled. Suddenly she was on the ground. The punch had come from nowhere and she didn’t even know who threw it. her jaw throbbed as she looked up dazed. Both guys had stop fighting and are now looking down at her with shock in their eyes.
Getting up, her own temper spiked. Without a word, she stormed into the house and headed towards the kitchen. dug into a draw and pulled out two knives before heading out into the balcony again, where two guys still stand, Baekhyun has a hand on Kai’s collar.
“here, take these and just kill each other!” she yelled as she threw the knives onto the ground.
“if you don’t listen like educated humans, then go all animal on each other! It’s a good look for you!” she yelled at them before pausing when a zing of pain came from her jaw.
“tiff” Baekhyun started but she held her hand up, stopping him.
“this is childish and stupid and I’m sure you two know that very well” she continues to yell.
“you better work this out because I had enough of this. I’ll see you tomorrow” at that, she turned around and headed back into the house.
There were voices calling after her but she ignored it as she grabbed her car keys and headed towards the door. took one last look inside to see the guys looking at her, they weren’t fighting anymore thank god. They looked shocked, even sorry in fact but it was too late to fix. Not when she’s all fired up like this.
“work it out” she said before closing the door. her jaws throb as she took the elevator down to the ground floor.
“hey tiff!” Chanyeol called out when she reached the ground floor. He and D.O was back from their meeting and they looked happy to see her. she felt sorry because she didn’t have the energy to smile back at them.
“go take care of your friend” she said to them before walking away. This is so stupid and at this point, she had enough.

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING, I'VE BEEN VERY BUSY
i know it's not a legit excuse but i just didn't know how to continue writing when i have 4 subjects homework everynight. i even have to quit my job T.T
But the chapter is up!
i decided to end the fanfic around the 20th chapter so everything will be reveaed very soon
