Chapter 50

Sunday finally arrived and right now, our family is having a dinner at the house.

Surprising, isn’t it?

The whole dinner was silence.

Just then unnie made a sound that caught us.

She put her hands over and makes the sounds again. She stood up and went to the comfort room and vomits everything.

I forgot she’s pregnant. I went with her and give her glassed water.

“Thanks Hyunjae” she said weakly.

She’s getting so fatigue and also, her stomach is beginning to grow.

“Unnie. You okay now?”  I ask and rub her back. She just nods and we went to the living room, since all of them we’re done.

They were seated so silently and mom was crying as she saw the two of us coming, she went in and spank unnie.

“Umma!!” I gasped and help unnie stood up.

“I never raised you to be like this!” she shouted. Unnie’s already crying in my arms.

“Umma~” I cooed but then unnie touched my hands.

“I’m your mom, and I know what will happen between my children. And don’t you think that I notice about your pregnancy?” mom shouted and was about to spank unnie, but I held her hands.

Her eyes widen and same with Haraboji. Dad stood up and was about to calm Mom, Donghae oppa went to unnie and help her.

“Yeah, you are our mom, but you knowing what’s happening to us? Your children? You don’t know mom!” I answered

They can step on me but never to Unnie and Hae oppa…

“Do you even noticed that unnie don’t like the arrange marriage, right? But why did you continue that thing!!” I sobbed.

“Do you know that Hae oppa is hurt that you didn’t go to even one of his concert and even his debut day?” I added. Mom looked at me with sadness and disbelief in her eyes

“And do you even notice that I was looking for a time with you? But you never gave me even a minute to be with you!” I yelled and cry harder.

“Yes you are our mom, you give birth to us, but you never acted as one” I said and went near her. I faced her and grab her hands.

“Spank me now! I know I did wrong… answering my own mom” I sighed but she never move her hands.

But still I feel a pair of hands hitting my cheeks.

“Haraboji!” Unnie and Oppa gasped.

I look at grandpa and smile.

“You never knew how to let go. Isn’t it?” I scoffed

“You never knew how to accept facts. Isn’t it?”

“You never learn how to love. You’re worst than those murderers Haraboji” I scoffed

“You treat us like your slaves. We are your family! We’re not your slaves! Got it?” I said then went near Unnie and oppa.

Haraboji went home without saying anything.

Dad let go of mom and hug Haera unnie, Donghae oppa went to me and hug me.

Mom was left behind... Speechless.

“mom, mianhae” I said and hug her. She cried and hugs me, then to unnie

 “Haera, mom is so sorry” she whispered and kissed unnie.

I let out a small smile and hug Donghae oppa.

Are we a happy family now?
