Chapter 38

Wednesday morning came by, and I hurriedly got my way to the rest room and took a quick shower and dressed in semi-formal clothes and went to eat my breakfast.

“Ahjumma Song! I’m done!” I yelled while waiting for Ahjumma Song to finish dressing up.

If you we’re wondering why? Well, me and Ahjumma Song and Choi will be visiting an orphanage like we always do when we’re free.

“coming!” she yelled from her room and run slowly at the stairs

“Did butler Choi put the gift at the car already?” she asks I just nod and went to the car followed by Ahjumma Song.

“Ahjussi to your wife please” I and he just laugh and went to the Choi Café

I saw Ahjumma Choi putting the foods at the box already when we got in the café.

“Oh just wait for Me.” she said then I went to help Heeyoung unnie, a worker at the counter.

“Helloo” I smiled

“Oh Jaejae” she smiled then ruffled my hair.

“Table 20. Order is done!” Dongwook oppa said then I raised my hand.

“lemme give that!” I said then take the tray. I went to the table 20 and saw six familiar boys. EXO-K oppas!

“Good morning. Here’s your order sir.” I said formally and put the cookies and six cans of soda on the table

“Oh JaeJae!”

 Suho oppa noticed me first I just bowed and giggle

“Good morning Jae!”

“Good morning chipmunk!”

“Good morning little angel!”  they all greeted

“No schedule?”

“Nothing~” Kyungsoo oppa answered

“You work here?” Baekhyun oppa ask. I just shook my head.

“Just came to help for awhile while waiting for Ahjumma Choi” I smiled

“What brought you here by the way?” I ask then they all pointed at Kai oppa

“He told us that this café is beautiful” Chanyeol oppa said

Oh yeah, both of us were here last Monday.

“So this is where you brought those yummy cookies?”  They ask I just nod and saw Ahjumma Choi coming near us.

“Where are you going chipmunk?” Sehun ask

“Well, me and the Ahjummas will be visiting the orphanage.”

“Really? Can we come?” they plead

“Eh?”

“Please~ besides we don’t have any thing to do today and also you know how much we love doing voluntary works” Chanyeol oppa said

“That sounds good. And beside the kids like to have more visitors right.” Ahjumma Song said then Sehun hugged her. Well, they’re close.

“Well, that if, Hyunjae’s Boyfriend’s manager will let them come” Ahjumma Choi giggled

“Ahjumma!” I whined but Kai just hold my hand

“Opppaaa!!!” I whined

They called their manager and he gladly let them come with us

Sehun oppa was in our car since he wants to talk to Ahjumma Song and Choi. While the other five were in Joonmyun oppa’s car.

After 30 minutes or so we arrived at the Special Home for the Kids Orphanage. Sister Han welcomed us whole-heartedly and we went to see the kids.

“noona!!!” the kids which became close to me hug me

“Omo! Moonkyun you grow up!” I said and ruffled his hair.

“Aigoo are you YoungSun? You looked different” I laughed

“Hey guys, this is our new friends” is aid and pointed at the awkward EXO oppas

“Omo!! Mama!!” Yumi squealed

“Yumi-ah you know them?” I ask then the 5 year old cute girl just nod and blushed

“Hello kids! We are one! Annyeonhaseyo EXO imnida” they said then the kids clap their hands

Then they started introducing their names.

“Jae! Look a new baby!” Ahjumma Song said. I hurriedly went to them and saw Sister Jung holding a baby” I give her a puppy eyes she just giggled sensing what I want to say.

“You know how to carry a baby?” she teasingly ask

Then I nodded my head vigorously. She handed me the baby and gently and I started dancing slow while humming a song to the baby.

“She was left in the gate last Saturday Afternoon. No one really saw the one who left her. And also we already did some announcement but no one knows this cute girl.

“What’s this little angel’s name?” Ahjumma Choi ask

“We temporarily call her Angeline” Sister Han answered just then I saw Kai resting his chin in my shoulder s and caress the baby’s cheeks just then I heard a loud click and saw Ahjumma Song taking pictures at us.

“Look! They look so cute” she squealed and let the nuns and the EXO boys look at it.

“Yah!” I whine d again

And give baby Angeline back to Sister Jung.

“Yah both of you! Go and make a family!” Sehun said

“It took us awhile before answering him.

“Sehun” Kai oppa seriously said and eyed Sehun

“Aigoo~ why are you telling me that Chipmunk? Go and tell Haera unnie about that” I let out an awkward hurtful laugh and went to the other kids

Aigoo…

“Kids! Squat for awhile the EXO chinggus will perform something for us!” SISTER Han announced and the kids followed immediately. While the EXO oppas we’re getting ready.

Then the song started.

“Listen…”

(KAI POV)

I don’t know what’s gotten in me, why I lean over Jae’s shoulder while caressing the baby’s cheeks. And truthfully, I feel so comfortable and she’s so cute together with the kids.

But then Sehun suddenly said something that snapped me into reality.

“Yah both of you! Go and make a family!”

Aniyo~ she’ll be my sister

I eyed at Sehun and coldly say his name.

“Aigoo~ why are you telling me that Chipmunk? Go and tell Haera unnie about that” Hyunjae said and went away. Just then they told us to perform and so we prepare.

…

“WOW!! The oppas dance so well” the kids exclaimed. Then they started to swarm over the other guys.

We already tried doing a lot of voluntary works but this one is different.

More heart-warming deed.

Just then I saw Hyunjae playing with other children.

Suddenly, I found myself walking towards her

She really is an angel.
