-Chunji’s POV-

My heart swelled with terror as I saw the oncoming truck, didn’t he hear it? How could he not hear it? It was so loud, thundering down the street, aiming right at him. “T-BEAR!” the terrified shriek ripped out from my throat at long last, but it was far too late. T-Bear turned to me curiously and the truck blasted him and sent him flying down the street with a terrified yelp, only for him to be run over again as the truck continued down the street. My legs carried me to T-Bears destroyed body as fast as they could, “T-Bear!” I cried as blood trickled out of his mouth, his deformed body lying pathetically. The truck driver was getting out in panic, horror in his eyes as he stared at the body. “Chunji.” T-Bear said his mouth moving slowly, my eyes widened in terror, “Why did let me play in the road, Chunji?” He whimpered “Why, Chunji, Why?” he whimpered again “I-I didn’t mean to.” I choked out, he was dead, how was he talking? “You’re a murder, Lee Chanhee, you’re a ing murderer, and it’s your entire fault!” he spat hate exploding in his eyes. “NO!”

“Chunji!”

I snapped my eyes open, breathing heavily with cold sweat trickling down my neck; I looked into the terrified eyes of my father. “Chunji, are you alright?” he cried, coming over to my bed. “Y-yeah.” I said my heart thrashing against my rib cage. But, no, I wasn’t okay, because I killed T-Bear and I knew it, I had let him play in the street. We had been home alone, and I let him play in the street because I wasn’t keeping an eye on him and then I heard a truck. No one knew it was my fault, I lied to protect myself. Oh, yes, Lee Chanhee was a secretive bastard, secretly gay and secretly a murderer. “You were screaming.” My dad said in concern “Nightmare.” I said trying to sound normal, hoping he would let it drop and he did. He bit his lip nervously, but the look in my eye must’ve told him to just leave me alone. He left my room hesitantly and I lay down in my bed trying to sleep again.

I woke up in the morning and went downstairs (After getting ready) ate breakfast and went outside when L. Joe texted me, I got in to his car and shut the door. “Ohh, girl! Leggo!” he cried and swerved out of the driveway, “I gotta take the car to the car wash real quick.” He said as we drove to the nearest car wash. L. Joe was one of those kids that appreciated everything; he had grown up poor with his mom until Seunghyun came. Seunghyun, despite his young age, 33, was already a highly respected business man, L. Joe had told me that Seunghyun took over his dad’s company, YG Entertainment. Seunghyun had bought L. Joe a car and he loved it, L. Joe took great care of it. As we pulled into the car wash, L. Joe started singing as water blasted at the car. “WORKING AT THE WHALE WASH!” He screamed, I elbowed him and rolled my eyes, “There’s something seriously wrong with you, Lee Byunghun.” He shrugged and grinned a little, positioning his finger over the button that would lower the window. “Don’t you dare!” I growled as his finger dipped closer to it, “L. Joe!” I whined as he lightly touched the button. He chuckled and pulled his finger away, “I wouldn’t do that, Channie, I’m not that much of an !” His mom’s ex-boyfriend used to put L. Joe’s window down at the car washes, and L. Joe would always joke about doing it but he never would. “So what are we doing today?” I asked as we pulled away from the car wash, L. Joe shrugged, “Go over to C.A.P’s house?” I nodded “Sounds good, but is he even home, right now?” L. Joe nodded “I was texting him earlier, Yay for illegally texting and driving!” I sighed and L. Joe put on some Eminem C.A.P left in his car.

I shifted uncomfortably, what if any of my secrets came out? Especially my ual orientation? L. Joe was a homophobe,  I knew that, C.A.P was too, Changjo and Christine weren’t and I know Ricky and Niel weren’t but they would still look at me strange. We got to C.A.P’s house and L. Joe knocked on the front door; C.A.P’s dad let us in and led us to the living room where C.A.P was playing N64 with the rest of the guys. “Minsoo, Chanhee and Byunghun are here.” His dad said “Appa, are you making tacos for dinner?” Completely ignoring us “Yep, with that spicy stuff, hotter than Byunghun’s hair.” L. Joe crossed his arms and pouted and stomped his feet like a little kid; I chuckled lowly and shook my head. This week his hair instead of being orange it was a fiery red. His dad laughed and left the room with a slight wave, “I’m going to dye my hair pink next anyway.”  He grumbled “You said that 1 million times already this week, L. Joe.” I pointed out and sat down. “Oh, whatever, just take a controller, you miserable piece of .” He grumbled and tossed a controller at me and we sat down and played Super Smash Bros while listening to NanrinA by BlockB.

“Gettin’ da’ es.” L. Joe cheered, fist pumping. Ohh, girl, I’m getting’ all dem’ es.” I rolled my eyes, “L. Joe, just because you saved Peach doesn’t mean she’s going to screw you.” He pouted as he played Mario. “Awh, dip, who would want to screw that anyway?” he grumbled “I would!” Niel cried eagerly, “Honestly, Niel, if it has a and it breathes, you’d screw it.” I pointed it out, “Well, man, I have standards.” He said with a wink. “What are you standards, Channie boy?” L. Joe said, waggling his eyebrows. Oh, , I forced myself not blush as I answered “Good personality and good looks are nice.” I said with a slight shrug, “Chunji, you are ing gay.” C.A.P said laughing, now I shrugged uncomfortably “Oh, well.” “Ohh, girl! He called you gay, damn, Chunji, I’ll hold your purse and urrangs (Earrings).” L. Joe cried jumping up eagerly like a fight was about to break out, “HotpotsDAYUMM!” Ricky cried jumping up and started to wrestle with L. Joe on the floor.

“Oh! I forgot to tell you guys, there’s a party tonight, let’s all go!” L. Joe cried eagerly as Ricky pinned his arms behind him. We all shrugged and agreed as Ricky got up and helped L. Joe up, a party sounded like pretty good time.

Little did I know that this party was going to ruin my life.
