Your mom’s mouth dropped open in disbelief but before she could say anything, Chunji grabbed your wrist and dragged you to who-knows-where.

“Please be my girlfriend.” He said, stopping on the middle of an empty hallway.

“WHAT?!?!” you yelled, almost choking with your own saliva. “You were the one who hugged me a while ago as well, weren’t you?! WHYYYYY do you cause me so much trouble anyway?!?!” you raged.

 “Okay. You look mad now. Can’t you at least pretend to be MY girlfriend? He casually spoke with a bit of a begging kind of tone.

“WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I’LL AGREE TO THIS NONSENSE?!” YOU RAGED.

“LOOK. I DESPERATELY NEED THIS OR ELSE I’D GET FORCED TO-“ He was cut off when your mothers appeared out of nowhere.

He quickly slung an arm around you and put on his best smile as he acted normal and started speaking. “Sorry for not telling you omonim but yes, your daughter and I are together.” He smoothly lied, rubbing the back of his neck.

You know that we’re not rich and you’re the eldest in the family so we need you to finish your studies first and foremost to ensure our future.” She started the motherly speech of ‘you-are-the-eldest-here-finish-your-studies-first’ kind of lecture (insert a sighing teenage girl here). “Life’s hard dear and—“

“I get it mom. I know. I know.” You nodded your head as she spoke then waved as you went to my room.

“Aisht.” You muttered, frustrated.
