After a few more minutes, the door of the recording booth opened and Kyuhyun went out looking tired but satisfied. “Finally done!”

Yesung entered the booth next while Kyuhyun was already fixing his stuff.

“You’re leaving already? You’re not gonna wait for Hyukjae?” Siwon asked.

“I have an early schedule tomorrow. I can’t wait for Hyuk.”

“Oh, okay go ahead. Take the van and Shindong with you. I can just take a cab,” Hyukjae responded.

Kyuhyun raised his eyebrows. “Are you sure? Shindong can come back here for you.”

“You both need to be up really early. I don’t have a schedule for tomorrow anyway so it’s okay.”

“Ah, so that's why you’re the last one to finish tonight,” Siwon asked.

Kyuhyun smirked and surprised everyone when he hugged Hyukjae. “Thanks, Hyuk.” Then he leaned on his ear and whispered, “I’ll just pretend that you’re being considerate and not because you wanted to stay here longer.”

Hyukjae looked at Kyuhyun with questioning but indignant eyes.

“Bye everyone!” Kyuhyun said as he walked to the door, still with that annoying smirk on his face.

Everyone was confused but just shrugged it off, used to Kyuhyun’s mischievous nature. Hyukjae felt bristled though, and messaged Kyuhyun.

Hyukjae:

I don’t get it???

Kyuhyun:

I already knew you’re an idiot.

You don’t have to prove it kkk

Hyukjae:

What do you mean?

Kyuhyun:

You. An idiot.

Hyukjae:

Not that!!

Kyuhyun:

I heard from Shindong that you volunteered to record last when the recording schedule for the additional song was being arranged.

Hyukjae:

I was being considerate. You all have schedules tomorrow while I don’t.

Kyuhyun:

Then why are you being so defensive lol

Hyukjae:

I’m not???

I’m just uncomfortable with what you’re implying.

Kyuhyun:

The fact that you thought I’m implying something means you’ve thought about it. ;)

Hyukjae:

Kyuhyun:

Like I said, I’m not stupid.

Siwon was supposed to record last, but you volunteered yourself instead.

Hyukjae:

And like I said, it's because I don't have a schedule anyway.

Kyuhyun:
