Chuckling at their banter, Hyukjae sets his phone down as he looks up at the mirror while his hair is being done. He remembered Donghae yesterday telling him that he looks great with his blond hair.

Right, Donghae again.

Sighing, Hyukjae is glad that he won’t see the guy for two days. As much as he loves spending time with a fun person like him, the emotional triggers he gets when with him are scaring the out of him already. He knows he wants to keep being friends with Donghae because they truly get along well. Back when they still hadn't hung around, he told himself that he cannot afford to be interested in a captivating man such as Donghae. But he’s not stupid not to realize that that is an impossible feat. Even more evident by the fact he can’t resist Donghae’s charm whenever they’re together.

He’s been thinking about this since last night as soon as Donghae dropped him off at the dorm with that beautiful smile of his and a cute little wave with the sleeve of his jacket pulled up to his palm making his hand look even smaller, and yet driving so coolly and brushing up his hair so handsomely.

Up until this morning, he's been turning his thoughts around, wondering about Donghae who suddenly came and disturbed his stable life. The way Hyukjae sees it, he has two options.

One, to stop being friends with Donghae to tamper down the budding feelings he’s having. This will protect him from further involvement and he could go back to his normal busy life filled with work and solitude, with a little of his family and friends here and there.
