Description

Hyukjae is a veteran idol living his life as it usually is in the industry. Then comes Donghae who was raised in another country and went back to Korea to explore his roots a bit. Hyukjae tries to fight off his attraction to this man who’s somehow connected to a lot of people in his life. But will he ever win that battle when Donghae seems to be smitten to him as well? Will Donghae be a permanent person in his life when he’s not meant to stay in the first place?

I've been reading a lot of eunhae fanfics and decided to put my ideas into writing as well. Will try to update frequently and finish soon. 🙂

Chapter 52: Everything wrapped up well and happily for them. After navigating the challenges they have, they will be fine against any others.

Hyukjae really has turned into a romance pro. Surprise celbratory dinners and trips to another of Donghae's dream destinations, complete with more romantic plans. Of course Donghae has to lock this man down, good thing he brought the ring - but Hyukkie beat him to it, haha. The image of both on their knees with a ring for each other is just such an absurdly wonderful and "them" thing. ♡

Thank you for the epilogue. Will look forward to what you write next.

Chapter 51: for me, the real angel here is Mrs. Lee, hae’s mom cos when she finally gave her blessings, things had fallen into places; hyuk will no longer have to sacrifice his career, hae won’t feel guilty over it (if ever time comes).

kinda teared a lil when hae shared that his mom sees him the happiest when he was w hyuk and that he sees KR as a happy place, tho it’s not for his mom. it was not an easy decision for her too but for her son’s happiness, she is ready to sacrifice.

Chapter 51: They are so freaking cute and lovey dovey, just so so happy to be together. Deserved. Everyone can see it.

Wahoooooo~ Donghae's mother saw it too, and came around. Korea really is a happy place for him where his person is. 🥹 (But he kept that great news to himself for longer than one would expect, haha, kinda impressive.)

Hyukjae is so touched he totally turned into a crybaby, aww. He was prepared to sacrifice and risk a lot for their life together, but how fortunate he doesn't have to. (Also amazing how much love changes a person, looking back on Hyukjae's old mindset of how he was resigned to certain life expectations and only devoted to his career.) They really did win.

Beautiful ending to wrap it up. ♡ (Looking forward to the epilogue. As a long time reader I'm sad to let this one go already too. 😭)
