Hyukjae smiles triumphantly as he hums and heats up some food for breakfast. Last night was so fun, getting to know each other, conversing endlessly. It’s amazing how they’re already so comfortable talking and joking around as if they’ve been friends for a long time. Even when they arrived at the dorm last night and supported Kyuhyun up to his bedroom, they couldn't stop laughing. Donghae even stayed for a while and they chatted while having a cup of hot chocolate. Then he walked Donghae home because that handsome man-child whined and asked for Hyukjae to accompany him.

His admiration for Donghae aside, Donghae is really a great company and he can already see a great friendship between them up ahead.

The day went by quickly. Donghae arrived that morning and they bickered over the healthiness of Hyukjae’s breakfast, then Hyukjae dropped him off at the restaurant, then proceeded to visit his family. He also had a great time with them, even if they also like to make fun of him. He went back to the dorm around 9pm after spending a happy day.

Now settled down and resting, he decided to check on his social media. It’s Heechul’s birthday today so he posted a photo of them and a greeting. This reminded him that he isn’t following Donghae yet.

Hyukjae hurriedly checked Donghae’s Instagram. The photos were mostly of scenery and random stuff, but there are some photos of Donghae with his friends and some with a middle-aged woman that Hyukjae assumes is Donghae’s mother.

Hyukjae lets out a snort, remembering last night when Donghae excused himself for a while to go to the restroom, and Heechul approached Hyukjae. For a moment, Hyukjae was scared that Kyuhyun may have mentioned something to Heechul, but it seems like Heechul just wanted to check on him. Then he snapped a photo of them together just before Donghae came back.
