Chapter 33
Share You My Love
The next morning, he woke up with a groan, his head pounding so badly. Opening his eyes reluctantly, he found himself on his bed in the same clothes as yesterday. The scent of Donghae’s hoodie at least soothes his throbbing head. He glanced at his bedside table and saw a bottle of water, a pain reliever medicine, and a note under his phone.
“I took so many videos and photos of you, I think I need to free up some memory space to make space for your hilarious antics last night lol :)))
Come to my apartment when you wake up so I can cook something for you, you drunkard ^_^”
Hyukjae smiled like the foolishly in love man that he is. He checked his phone and saw that it’s already 4pm, and many notifications that he didn’t want to check on yet. He then took the medicine and drank the water, and hurriedly got up from his bed.
Excited to go to Donghae, he opened the door and was about to go to the bathroom when he heard Donghae’s laugh from the living room. Confused, he walked there and saw Donghae lying alone on the couch and watching a variety show.
“I thought you told me to go to your place?”
Donghae turned to look at him with a happy smile. “Oh, you’re awake!”
“Yeah, I just woke up and was about to shower so I can go to your apartment.”
“Ah, let’s cancel that plan and stay here instead. Because guess what!!!” Donghae said excitedly, eyes so wide and almost jumping in joy.
“What?”
“I figured you’d be sleeping until late afternoon so I went out to hang out with some friends. When I got back home, imagine my surprise when I opened the door and saw Kyu and Wookie kissing at our doorway!!”
‘What!!“
“Yes!!”
“Oh my god!!”
“Yes oh my god!!”
They were happily bouncing like kids with delighted smiles on their faces.
“You really caught them kissing? They didn’t hear you keying in the passcode?” Hyukjae asked, amused.
“Stupid idiots didn’t even close the door properly. I had a mini heart attack thinking I left the door slightly open when I left.”
“And you had another mini heart attack when you saw them for sure,” Hyukjae laughed.
Donghae nodded exuberantly at that. “So I closed the door for them and then went straight here.”
“That means it went well today, even better than expected. Kyu was worried for nothing,” Hyukjae mused.
“Why? Weren’t they just supposed to go to the school?” Donghae asked.
“Kyuhyun also planned to tell Wookie today the whole truth that he’s been putting off. I guess he ended up confessing as well,” Hyukjae chuckled, happy for his friend.
“Ah, I’m sure Ryeowook would be too happy to be mad at us.”
Hyukjae snorted. “Well I hope so.”
“I’m sure. You know, he can’t stop gushing at everything that he and Kyuhyun do together. Sometimes I worry that my ear would fall off.”
“Wait, so all this time Ryeowook has been telling you his feelings for Kyuhyun?”
“Yeah, for a while now. I just didn’t tell you because I know you’d tell Kyu, and I wanted them to progress naturally if they would.”
Hyukjae looked affronted. “I would not!”
Donghae just raised his eyebrow at him and he relented.
“Okay, I totally would. But only if Kyuhyun looked hopeless or would think to give up. But from the very start he wasn’t like that.”
“To be honest I would also drop Kyuhyun some hints if ever I felt like they were going in the wrong direction. But you’re right, even from the beginning, things looked great between them.”
“Must be nice to have it easy,” Hyukjae said while holding back a sigh.
“What do you mean?”
“Kyu is still an idol so they can’t flaunt their relationship, but Ryeowook doesn’t seem to be the type to be loud in his relationships anyway.” Donghae gave him a nod at that. “Other than that, I don’t think there are any other hurdles. Ryeowook’s parents live in the States and are open-minded, and Kyuhyun’s parents are very supportive of his relationships. That’s why Kyuhyun has no inhibitions about dating at all, except for making sure he’s careful not to get outed to the public. Kyuhyun’s schedule may be crazy at times but I’m sure they can work it out. Living near each other sure has its perks.”
“Yeah, you’re right. It must be nice to have it easy,” Donghae nodded.
They were silent for a while before Donghae started chattering again. “Should we congratulate them? Or pretend we don’t know yet? I’m sure they didn’t see me earlier and I closed the door for them really quietly.”
“Let’s not reveal it yet. Let’s just let them tell us when they’re ready.”
“Oh, knowing Wook he will immediately tell me as soon as I go home.”
“Then let’s invite them for dinner here?”
“Good idea! But before that, you really should fill up your stomach first. I promised to cook for you. I checked your refrigerator and cupboards and you still have a lot of ingredients I can work with.”
“Donghae, don’t pretend to be a sous chef, we both know you’re just a bit better than me at cooking.”
“I am still better! I’ll cook whatever you want.”
“I want ramen.”
“I can cook for you something other than ramen though. I promise!”
Hyukjae pouted. “But I really want ramen, Hae.”
Donghae paused and then chuckled. “Okay, stop pouting. Go shower and I’ll prepare your ramen.”
Hyukjae grinned and got up from the couch. “Please put bean sprouts too.”

That night, Hyukjae looked amusedly as Kyuhyun and Ryeowook walked to the dining table, proudly holding hands and sporting twin blushes. Donghae was giggling right beside him.
“So?”
Kyuhyun broke into a winning smile and raised their entwined hands. “I got the man!”
Ryeowook giggled and playfully slapped Kyuhyun’s shoulder. “Kyu! Stop it~”
“Oh god that’s so flirty. Get out,” Hyukjae joked laughingly.
“Congr
