"How the hell did that happen?" Heechul slammed a hand on the desk.  Siwon flinched, his eyes still staring out the window. "I do not know." He said, clenching his hands. The dragon had been mad this morning to find out the prisoners had escaped. He had gathered all the guards in change and had questioned them, using Minseok's magic that he still had a little stored. However none of them could give him anything useful. Well that was because Taehyung was wise enough to delete himself and his companions from their memory after putting them to sleep. Truthfully, Siwon didn't know what possessed him to make such move. Maybe it was probably because he didn't want good people die unnecessarily. Or because he felt guilty. Either way, he knew he didn't want Heechul to kill his own family. Siwon would kill to get reunited with his own family, but he had given up on that notion. He knew how it felt to live without them. Most importantly, Heechul shouldn't do that, no matter how bad he was, killing one's family was the most horrendous act. That the even the God of the underworld couldn't forgive. Was he trying to save Heechul from himself? Did he have the right to do that? Or was he a hypocrite? Siwon wasn't sure of a lot of things, other than his growing affection for Heechul. "Someone in this place must be the one that helped them. There's no way they are able to escape from Lyfe without help." He yelled, once again that had Siwon flinching. "You've questioned them, and did not find anything. Why don't you just let it be?" He swirled around to face the dragon. Heechul pinned him with a hard look."Don't toy with me sorcerer." He growled the words, tilting his head as though suddenly realizing something and Siwon's heart dropped. "Perhaps are you the culprit?" Siwon began to shake his head, but decided against it, as he nodded instead. There was no point in hiding it, better come clean now. Heechul would find out, he always does figure things out."You're right I am the one that helped them." Before Siwon could grab the situation, Heechul was in front of him slamming him against a wall, with a clawed hand wrapped his neck in a tight grip."Why would you betray me?" He gritted. He had a look of confusion as well anger. Like he couldn't figure where it went wrong. Trying his best to breath through the little space he was allowed in his neck, Siwon gaze Into Heechul's eyes, searching for something he knew he would never find in them. "I did not betray you Heechul. I am trying to save you from yourself." The hold loosen for a moment."What the are you blabbing about?" Heechul demanded. "I did it for you. They're your family. How could you live on knowing your ended their lives and for what?" "So you're a good man now?" "No" Siwon shook his head. "I never said I was. In fact I am far from good. But killing your own family is something I can never allow you to do Heechul." "What the does that have to do with you?" "Me?"  "Yes you sorcerer. Why do care what I do to my family? I thought we're on the same boat." "We are but not on this one." Siwon let out a sigh. "And as for your previous question, it's probably because I am stupid." "I don't believe that . You're the smartest bastard I've ever met. So tell me why you care." The hand around his neck tightened. Siwon weighed his opinions, but opted for the truth once again, even though it might be a dumb move. "Because I love you." When Heechul raised his brows, confused, he added. "In a way a lover would." "Wha..." Heechul's eyes went wide, as he hastily let him go, taking large steps back. "Are you in your right senses?" The sudden gesture had Siwon dropping to his knees, taking in a lungful of air. He glanced up at Heechul that was looking at him as though seeing him for the first time. "I am very much in my senses." Heechul shook his head, taking one more step back."Have you forgotten? I am to marry your daughter how could you–" He didn't let Heechul finish his sentence as a laugh escaped him. "Yes, about that. I do not have a daughter Heechul. It was a golem puppet I made to deceive you." Well it seem today was a morning for a lot of confession on his part. He was tired of lying, though. If Heechul decided to discard him after hearing the truth, then that was for the best. It would help him to move on. "Oh Gods!" This was the closest he had seen Heechul distressed. "I–" he shook his head, turning to start pacing. "Why?" Siwon shrugged. "What? I am not allowed to love you." Heechul lunged at him, yanking him off the ground as the hand returned to his neck, his other claw hand, directly on Siwon's chest. "I could end you right now for daring to have such thoughts about me." Siwon let out a hollow laugh. "You think I planned this? Plan to fall in love with you?" He shook his head. "Please do us both a favor and rip out my heart. End this pathetic life of mine." "You think I cannot?" Heechul challenged. "Oh I know you can Drake, I want you– no beg of you to do it. Right here and now." He waited, hoping Heechul would. He didn't see the purpose to live now. He had lost everything, and the  person he loved would never be his. Huffing, Heechul shook his head before dropping him onto the floor, to resume pacing. "Was that– " Heechul began to say, pausing to drag in some air. "Was that the reason why you helped me without wanting anything in return?" "You needed a reason to believe I am doing everything for you because I want something in return." Siwon said, shuffling to lean his back against the wall. "And you really don't?" Heechul paused to say. "No not anymore. You won Heechul. I've given up my cause for you." "Which was?" Heechul walked over, looking down at him with curiousness. Running a hand through his hair, Siwon said."I needed the bracelet, the dark soul in it to be precise. I needed it to take back my throne, and resurrect my son. That's why i approach you in the first place." With little time, he recounted all that had happened to him for the past centuries. Heechul's brows ceased, he didn't really seem surprised by the information. Like he expected something like that. "You know I was royalty?" Heechul waved a hand. "Someone with magic as strong as yours is definitely not ordinary. No I am not surprised you turned out to be one." He said."But my question is, now you don't want that? What you initially had in mind?" "Not really. I want something else. You. Even though I know I can probably never have you." He shrugged again. "Besides having the bracelet is a waste of time. I– it was my cue to know I should give up and I did." He let out a sigh, lowering his head."I am not sorry Heechul. I am not sorry I lied to you, because it brings me closer to you." Heechul grunted."I will never return your feelings." He said, his voice surprisingly soft."I am not into the same , never once, even after taking over Lyfe and the changes it brought to my people." "I know." He mumbled. "Why would you let yourself fall for me?" "I wish I hadn't." "Wait what do you mean having the bracelet is a waste of time?" Heechul suddenly asked, crouching next to him. Siwon couldn't help but laugh."Your brain just caught up with that?" He gave him a side glance. "Tell me what you mean." The dragon urged. "I can't– couldn't bound the dark soul to myself. And as hell wouldn't be able to bound it to anyone." "I am not getting you." Heechul dropped one knee, while he folded his other leg, his attention fully on Siwon. "He's too strong for my incantations to work on him probably, I tried several times on us both but it did not work. He was watching me, enjoying seeing me stress myself. Finally he decided to save me some trouble and told me, the only way for it to work is when his souls are complete." A deep frown marred Heechul's face as he stood up, walking back to his desk to lean against it."Complete? How?" Sighing once again, Siwon stood from where he had sat on the floor, and made his way over to Heechul."He didn't say, but he wants something." "And what could he possibly want?" Heechul crossed his arms over his chest, his muscles rippling in the process, that had Siwon gulping, imagining how they would feel wrapped around him while Heechul ed him. Heechul's nose flared, taking in a deep inhale, his eyes narrowed on Siwon. ! Siwon had neglected to hide his excitement, luckily for him, Heechul didn't mention it despite scenting it the air. Shaking his head, Heechul regarded him with an unreadable look. "I am still waiting for you response." That was when he realized he had moved even closer to the dragon, invading his personal space. He quickly caught himself and took several steps back."Sorry I didn't realize." He said and quickly went on before Heechul could give a response. "He wants the living dark soul. Sehun. In return he would do our bidding willingly." "You trust he would?" "I don't know Heechul. He's not a living entity, I couldn't read if he's sincere or not." "What does he want with Sehun anyway?" "He didn't say, but I think he wants Sehun's souls, or probably something entirely different." "Then let's try giving him what he wants." "That's the problem. I couldn't track Sehun nor his ship and–" "Then we just have to find a way to get him to come to us."A smile was already appearing on Heechul's face. "Since we couldn't bind the dark soul to us, it's better we give him what he wants." "And how are you going to do that?" Heechul's response was a grin."Go get ready Siwon, we have a lot to do." He said, pulling away form the desk before making for the exit without another glance his way. "Are we really going to let him kill Sehun?" The elf had become a part of Heechul's family, whether the dragon realize it or not.  Heechul paused, turned to face Siwon. "Why the  not?" "He's Kai's mate, the bearer of your grandchildren." He spelled it out and waited. The response he got was as predicted, Heechul didn't give a damn, another reason to curb his feeling. There was no moving forward with this type of person. "You've become soft, I don't like this version of you." Heechul scowled with a shake of his head in disapproval. "Get your together. Choi. You should use this opportunity to get back your throne and child, I will allow you that much. There's no need to give up on anything for me." Saying so he proceeded to walk out, his steps echoing in the he room until it faded. Siwon sagged against the wall, running a hand down his face. "Damnit!" I am beginning to get disappointed in you sorcerer. The dark soul's voice echoed in Siwon's head, that had him started as well as reminding him, the bracelet was hidden inside his pocket. If it will make you feel better, I do not plan on killing the elf, I have other plans for him. "Which is?" He dared to ask, despite knowing the dark elf wouldn't share his plans. Just get me Sehun, and his full name. **** Jimin had his eyes on a pack of wolf pups playing not far away, as he waited for Sehun to begin. His whole demeanor screamed how he didn't want to be here with Sehun, or probably didn't want to have the talk, and seemed a minute away from leaving. Sehun on the other hand was trying to find the right words to show his sincerity, he really wanted Jimin to know he was sorry for being a jerk. "I do not have all day Sehun." Jimin spoke, tearing his eyes from the pubs, his impatience evident, as he fixed Sehun with a hard look. Letting out a sigh, Sehun rubbed his hands together as he spoke"I am sorry." He said, shifting from one foot to another. Jimin raised his brows, a glint in his eyes "For what?"he asked, almost taunting. The little wanted Sehun to point out his own mistake, which was why he chose to play dumb. Well Sehun did wronged him. It was in his right to play however he see fit. "For being a jerk, for not believe in you enough." Jimin in response let out a soft laugh, as though mocking himself."Have you ever believed in me Sehun?" Sehun hesitated for a moment before nodded. At first he had doubts if he had made the right call, bringing Jimin on bored when he learned of his profession, however that didn't last long. Hoseok had vouched for the Park brothers. And Sehun really trusted the psychic with his life."I do. Look I know I've messed up and I am trying to fix it. I should have trusted you, but if you were in my shoes, you probably might have make the same decision." Jimin didn't answer right away, he regarded Sehun with an expression, hard to read, before he let out a sigh, bringing both hands to scrub his face. "Probably." He let out. Glad that they were getting somewhere, Sehun was quick to add."From now on I will listen to you –" Jimin was already shaking his head before get to the end. "I don't want you to listen to me Sehun, you're not obligated to. I just want you to have a little faith in me, in our friendship. Though It hasn't been long since I joined your crew, but believe me, I found a family, and don't wish to jeopardize that. So please think things through before you make a decision." Jimin said, paused for Sehun to hum before he went on. "Has anyone told you: you're not fit to make the right decisions when your emotions are all over the place? Honestly the first time I met you I thought you're the type of guy that could hold it together."he didn't mean it as an insult, Sehun could see he was only stating his opinion. Jimin was right though. Lately Sehun had been making stupid decisions, something that had never been a part of his personality. He was able to come thus far because he didn't let emotions get in his way. "I am not usually like that." He admitted, with a small smile. "I thought so too." Jimin said, he no longer looked like he was a minute away from taking off, his posture was relaxed, as he leaned against the tree."I am glad we talk." "So am I forgiven?" Sehun asked hopefully. Jimin laughed, with a shake of his head. "I forgive you Sehun. I've done so, a long time back actually."He shrugged when Sehun pinned him a look of disbelief."I was just not ready to face you." He grinned. Sehun laughed, too. "Thank you Jimin" he extended a hand, and Jimin reached for it, but the sea elf let out sound of surprise when Sehun pulled Jimin forward to clasp his arm instead. "S-sehun?" Jimin whispered, looking between their hands and Sehun's face. "Yes!" Sehun affirmed. This type of hand shake was extremely special. It meant Sehun had appointed Jimin as his knight, one of the highest honor a none royal elf could achieve. As a prince it was in his right to appoint a knight and it didn't have to be an elf. Anyone could be a knight, however there had to be a significant amount of trust for it to happen. Knightship couldn't be bought, it could only be earned."I want you to know you're a significant part of my crew, my team. Having you on the ship means a lot to me. Same for Chanyeol. So I name you my knight Park Jimin. Do you accept?" Flustered, Jimin made an attempt to kneel, but Sehun stopped him. "That won't be necessary. So do you accept?" Jimin almost nodded his head off. "Yes of course I accept." He still had a look of surprise on his face, like he couldn't believe this was actually happening, how he had earned a sudden knightship. "Good." Sehun smiled. "You're my first knight." "First? I thought Jungkook was your knight?" Sehun shook his head. "He's been my protector for a long time, since I was  child, but my Hayrik named him. Thus he's his knight." "I am truly honored. Sehun." Jimin inclined his head. "I am glad." Sehun hummed. "So now I am a truly Jimin the knight ?" Laughing, Sehun released Jimin's hand. "If that's what you wish to be called." "I can't wait to rub it in Jungkook's face, he does this thing every time he's introducing himself." The sea elf huffed his chest, with a fist on his chest, imitating Jungkook's voice. "I am Jeon Jungkook. The knight." Once again Sehun laughed. "I bet he did." He

Chapter 42: Wow wow wow WOW!
I just binge read this and there's just a lot to say.

First of all, I apologize for not being able to read this as you update, work is taking all my time and can only binge this in between projects xD

Ngl, at first I was a bit sceptical on how you would up Hooligans Paradise since that one was one heck of an epic story but you did it!

I love how the character setting in this one is different from your previous ones, since Kai is leading most of the action, proofs just how strong he is next to Sehun. It's a nice change of dynamics.

Oh, and don't get me start on the creatures in this story! I always thought Blink would be my ultimate favourite non human character from your stories but the Horas and Athena? They won my heart immediately! I just love reading the interactions between non human characters and the humans. It warms my heart~

Oh and not to forget, the 3 super baby dragons!! The most adorable little bunch of epic children they are, love that you gave them the spotlight too with the plot twist ~

Also, it's really cool that you had the plots planned out since all the way before~

It's so nice that everyone gets their happy ending too, even Taegun~

Btw, I was kinda somewhat half expecting the next story would be the dinosaur dimension one *cough* haha
But ofc, I am already looking forward to the next one!

I truly enjoyed reading this one~ Thank you so much for writing yet another great piece, Jasmine~
