Kai's heart was almost ready to jump off his chest as he made his way to his cabin. All the way back to his cabin he barked chuffing growls, scaring people out of his path with the thundercloud following him. His body still shaking, from the stunt he had pulled earlier. Truth be told; he had no idea why he had dived in to defend Sehun. When he saw the murderous look in Minho's eyes it was like an instinct– no like he was compelled to do something. And he had a feeling it had nothing with his attraction for the half elf. His dragons had fought to come out, and even if he didn't want to, Kai didn't have a choice.

It was similar to how it went in Dure. It seemed being around Sehun tend to make him– his dragons forget themselves and priorities. For the first time in life, he had been careless to expose himself– a secret he had been trying all his life to hide– had endangered his soldiers. His soldiers might be loyal to him, but that didn't mean they would actually stay quiet. Stories like his, tend to travel fast. Kai would have to use his compulsion on them if need be– that way they wouldn't be able to go against his words. It was the only way to make sure Heechul wouldn't find out. And he couldn't have that. His father was paranoid, believing anyone wanted to take him out for power– as if anyone was a power hungry lunatic like him. His whelps included. If Heechul learned Kai was a golden dragon, Kai didn't even want to think of what Heechul would do. But for certain it wouldn't be pleasant. Kai didn't fear for himself, but for the people he cared about. Behind him Sehun's footsteps were light, but Kai could feel the anger in each step. Indeed, Sehun had looked like he would sincerely like to kill Kai.  It was expected. Sehun hated dragons, and Kai hid whom he was from him while he took him to bed to ravish his body.  Kai had a leaden sensation in the pit of his stomach. Sehun's disgusted expression when he realized whom Kai was, felt like a slap. The world seemed less colorful, less interesting. Sehun probably not only hated Kai, but hated himself for it. For a moment, Kai was tempted to turn and see what expression Sehun wore, however he bit his cheek, fastening his stride instead. Kai knew this day way would come, but he didn't expect it to be soon. He had thought it would take a while before he meet Sehun again, or perhaps they might not even get to meet. But then Sehun had gone and gotten himself captured. It was hard to believe, a smart person like Sehun had allowed himself to be captured. From what he had observe Sehun was too cunning to let himself be fooled easily. A mutiny? As if, Kai believed it. Something must have happened. Or was the half elf being here on purpose? A part his plan? Kai wouldn't put it past Sehun. Reaching his cabin, the door opened automatically, without needing to touch it. Speaking of which, how did Sehun managed to leave his cabin was a mystery he wished to solve. Kai had been sure no could open it, not even his siblings that he shared a part of his DNA with. Did Sehun have a secret ability? Magic maybe? Again Kai wouldn't put it past him. Reaching the bed, he turned around expecting to see Sehun behind him, but the half elf was no where in sight. Cursing under his breath, he went back the way he came heart rate spiking, only to give a shuddering stop, when he come face to face with Sehun the moment the door opened. He had thought Sehun had run off somewhere in the ship, where his presence wouldn't be welcome. But the elf was stood, expression blank, both hands crossed over his chest.  "Waiting for an invitation?" Kai demanded, shoving a hand inside his pocket. Sehun regarded him for a moment. The elf's cool blue eyes looked him over neither approving nor disapproving just cold. It was close, but Kai avoided shivering like a teenager caught in an illicit act."I don't want to be alone with you, I rather you put me in a holding cell." Sehun shot back. Kai bit back a sigh. Now that Sehun found out who he was, dealing with him wasn't going to be easy. "Well live with it. You'll be staying with me for as long as you're here." The thought of putting Sehun in a holding cell, didn't appeal to him, it repulsed him for some reason. "I don't wanna." Sehun stubbornly insisted, planting his feet firmly, as if that would stop Kai from dragging him inside if wanted to. "You have to, this isn't your ship, I give command here, if you wish to survive I advise you come in." Kai knew he was being an jerk, but the urge was great, he needed to see a reaction, anything was better than the closed and guarded expression on Sehun's face. Sehun's face twitched the slightest at the mentioned of his ship, but that was the only reaction Kai got. "Then can I stay here?" He gestured at the hallway, deliberately steering the conversation away from Black Pearl. "No you're staying with–" his words died in his throat when Sehun's brows furrowed as he suddenly bent over, grabbing his middle, with a muffle curse. "Hey what's wrong?" Kai's hands were hovering in the next moment, wanting to touch at same time didn't want to anger the male further. Sehun waved a hand widely, looking about the hallway before he slowly made his way inside, as though loathed to be seen in this state by the others. He seemed to be having difficulty moving and Kai doubted his help would be appreciated, however he still went to give Sehun a hand.  Even in this state, Sehun jerked away fast, lifting his head to glare at Kai.  Stunned at the lack of blue in his eyes, Kai took a step back, hands shaking slightly. Something was wrong with Sehun. His eyes were no longer blue– not even the tiniest pupil was visible, the cornea was pitch black, and Kai could see his own reflection in the dark orbs. "B-blood." Sehun mumbled, grabbing onto the chair in Kai's room to steady himself. Kai cursed at himself. Taehyung had begged him, to send Sehun back. His brother believed having Sehun on the ship was dangerous. Taehyung had rambled on how Sehun consume blood everyday as a necessity and if he didn't get it, he might lose control and away people's souls. Like Taemin claimed had happened to him. And Kai did agree Sehun was dangerous. He had seen what the pirate did to his dragons. And maybe a primal part of Sehun needed blood– though it still left him wondering. But eating souls? That was unheard of. To him it seem people easily judge Sehun, just because he was a pirate with a reputation, they believe he was capable of doing some absurd stuff.  Though Kai knew better than to underestimate Sehun. Even if it's true, Kai didn't care. Though he didn't know much about the pirate personally, but he had spent a night with him and Sehun would have his soul dry if he had wanted. The point here was, Sehun wasn't as bad as he let people believe or as people thought. No matter the case, Kai would never turn his back on someone in need. And the moment, Sehun was. However the issue at the present was that, they didn't have a blood bank on the ship. Dragons had great regenerative ability. Having blood infusion was something they rarely needed. A dragon could survive any Injury– well not with their head ripped off– as long they were given the time to recover.  And now that Sehun needed blood. Kai for the first time in his life was lost on what to do. Without a doubt no one on the ship would be willing to donate blood to the same pirate that had killed their own, several times. 'Give him your blood moron.' Zach shouted in his head. Kai started, whipping around to see the Hora stepping out of his compartment that was connected to base of Kai's bed. 'He needs it. Hurry'. The Hora urged, pacing back and forth agitatedly. This was the first time Kai was seeing his familiar worked up. Kai would gladly offer Sehun his blood, but the problem was, would Sehun accept it? It was likely the elf rather starve than accept help from a dragon. Sehun's muffled scream brought him back to reality and he jerked to look at the other. Sehun's skin was no longer human's, it was the color of his hair, with a sheen amount of sweat covering his forehead, down his tattooed neck. Kai had never seen anything so beautiful, never seen a blue skinned elf before. He didn't even know it was possible for one to change the colour of their skin like this. Sehun gasped. He seemed to be in pain, a pain Kai couldn't even begin to imagine. He needed to act fast. And his golden dragon roared in agreement. He's agitated, too. For fleeting moment, Kai thought to offer his neck artery for Sehun to feed on, but something told him things would change forever if he did, things that were irreversible. Neck was a very sacred part for dragons, it was were his delicate gland was. It wasn't meant for anyone to touch, not even family touch. But one's mate. Shaking his head, he let his claws out. Pushing forward, Kai made a cut on his wrist, hissing at the slight pain."Here!" He offered, fresh blood dripped from his open wrist onto the carpet, he was using magic to prevent it from closing on its own. Sehun snarled, his fangs becoming longer than Kai remembered them to be. He shook his head stubbornly, batting Kai's hand away. But the obvious need for blood was visible on his face. "This is not time to be stubborn." "G-get me a bag of blood." The elf gritted out heavily, dark nails gripping the chair even tighter. "That's the problem, we don't have any on the ship." He carefully avoided to remind Sehun he was on the dragons ship, full of the beasts he hated so much, and one of those beasts was offering his blood. Maybe if Sehun forgot what Kai was for a moment, he would accept the blood Kai offered.  Sehun's body shook, he seemed to be having an internal struggle with himself.  "Quick, I can't hold the cut open for long." It was true, Kai could feel the skin begging to knit itself together, it wouldn't be long before he had to recut himself or those sharp fangs– that put a vampire to shame– would do the job. Sehun's eyes darted to Kai's wrist, his lips with clear interest and hunger, but he didn't move. Kai gave his hand a shake, making the smell of blood more prominent in the room. That seem to do the trick. Growling, Sehun lunched forward like a predator, grabbed Kai's hand as he sank his fangs, taking large gulps of blood, his eyes never leaving Kai's as he drank. From his peripheral vision, Kai caught Zach sagged with relief, before returning to his compartment. Kai visible shuddered when Sehun's fangs sank deeper. This shouldn't be enjoyable, nor , but his treacherous found it both. He had to bite his lips, to stop himself from . The way Sehun's lips looked covered in his blood was, enticing, and felt almost right. His one true dragon– the golden– made a strange movement inside his head, it was almost dizzying.  Then Kai realized what his counterpart was about to do. "No" Kai shouted. That interrupted Sehun, the elf pulled back, black eyes widening with confusion. "Not you, keep going." He encourage, pushing his hand back to Sehun. The elf clearly wasn't done feeding. He had thought Sehun would back off, but surprisingly he grabbed Kai's hand and resume with virgo. It seemed the hunger had gotten the best of him, coupled with the taste of fresh, human blood.  What had Kai freaked out, was: without Kai's consent, his golden dragon had wanted to take over, feed Sehun his dragon blood. It was like the dragon felt Kai's human blood wasn't sufficient enough and saw the need to step in and if that happened– Kai didn't know what the consequence might be. Feeding true dragon blood led to many things, one of those was bonding.  Many dragons might not be able to separate their human side from the beast. But Kai could. Even though the dragon instinct did affect the human side. At the present he was in control, not his dragon. Many didn't understand what a golden dragon was, what made Kai special. Some though it was the ability to take any dragon shape. Yes, he could take any dragon form alright and have the ability that came with its color, even those that had gone extinct– like amethyst. That was where the rainbow dragon name came in. Just like each of those dragons in him had their own unique ability, they also had different personality. But the golden represent, all his dragons as one. They merge and become one powerful huge golden bastard. Which make the Golden his one true, original dragon. Without the golden, there would be no Kai.  Separately one of the colorful dragons could be killed. For example he could take a black dragon form and when killed, Kai would still survive, only that he had lost that one part of himself, and would weaken him a little. But the others would remain. The main problem occur when the golden was harmed– though it would be very hard to penetrate the golden scale– that would be when Kai's life was truly i

Chapter 42: Wow wow wow WOW!
I just binge read this and there's just a lot to say.

First of all, I apologize for not being able to read this as you update, work is taking all my time and can only binge this in between projects xD

Ngl, at first I was a bit sceptical on how you would up Hooligans Paradise since that one was one heck of an epic story but you did it!

I love how the character setting in this one is different from your previous ones, since Kai is leading most of the action, proofs just how strong he is next to Sehun. It's a nice change of dynamics.

Oh, and don't get me start on the creatures in this story! I always thought Blink would be my ultimate favourite non human character from your stories but the Horas and Athena? They won my heart immediately! I just love reading the interactions between non human characters and the humans. It warms my heart~

Oh and not to forget, the 3 super baby dragons!! The most adorable little bunch of epic children they are, love that you gave them the spotlight too with the plot twist ~

Also, it's really cool that you had the plots planned out since all the way before~

It's so nice that everyone gets their happy ending too, even Taegun~

Btw, I was kinda somewhat half expecting the next story would be the dinosaur dimension one *cough* haha
But ofc, I am already looking forward to the next one!

I truly enjoyed reading this one~ Thank you so much for writing yet another great piece, Jasmine~
