Twin fat tears slipped down his face at sight of his mom, brother and uncle barely recognisable, they had been beaten black and blue with multiple injuries visible on them that didn't seem to be healing. Next to his mom was an elf Taehyung had never seen before. Nevertheless he could tell he was important for Heechul to keep him locked up and torture him like he did with his family. "He's the elfin king. That Kai spoke of." His mate sent through their bond. Yes, Taehyung had later learned that Sehun's parents had been kept alive all those while. Which was a good thing for his brother. Now he would be able to be with Sehun like he was supposed to, without guilt trying to consume him. His body shuddered, nerve trying to grab him but he didn't let it. Knowing it wasn't the time, he peered at Yoongi that was stood beside him and bobbed his head once. His mate jumped into action. Using his ample magic, he called out four spheres, dispatching them into the four people to make them inanimate as well as heal them in the process. It would be easier to transport them this way. "You have to hurry." A voice said from the cell's door. The same person that had reached out to Taehyung to come get his family. He knew the man to be Magus Choi. Heechul's partner in crime. Which was why when the sorcerer contacted him and told him about what Heechul was planning to do to his family, Taehyung had thought it to be untrue. He had presumed the man just wanted to lure him into Lyfe for whatever sinister plot his father had. Jongdae had been frantic when he called and asked for help a day ago. He strongly believed Minseok was in danger and the elf was currently unable to do something . Which once again, Taehyung had doubted, because he knew his uncle had always been cautious not to get caught by Heechul. Being covert was Minseok's forte, Jongdae was probably being paranoid. It was only when the twins– Minseok's kids that were with Taehyung– said they could feel something wasn't right through the bond they shared with their parents that Taehyung began pondering the possibility of the situation. Finally when the sorcerer reached out, Taehyung made a decision despite his doubts, to see. And surprisingly, it turned out they were both right. Minseok was in danger more than anyone, the septation of being away from Jongdae was already taking it's toll on him. And the sorcerer was telling the truth and was even helping them. Which didn't make sense. Though he had many skepticism as to why, but Taehyung wasn't going to question his intensions. Whether good or bad, he had saved his family and Sehun's father from a tragic fate.  According to the mage, Heechul intended to auction off Eunhyuk like he was a possession. While he schemed to execute the Drakes, for treason– siding with Kai– first thing in the morning. Taehyung couldn't believe his father would stoop so low. His insanity was getting out of hand. Heechul needed to stop, or more accurately he needed to be stopped and Kai was the only one who could do that. The oriental dragons had the power to do so, but they refused to involve themselves in anything related to Taehyung's race, since Heechul dared to ask for the emperor's pearl, something sacred to them just like how the tree of Life was to the elves. The yellow emperor only allowed Yoongi to marry Taehyung because they were destined to be and he wanted his son to be happy. Yoongi and his brother only got involved because Taehyung had asked them to help and it was something Yoongi couldn't say no to. "If you don't leave soon I am afraid you'll be caught. And may I remind you what I've put on the line to get you here." The sorcerer said with a huff of annoyance. That put him to action too. Using the magic he shared with his mate, he lifted the four people up and stood next to his mate ready to teleport. They couldn't carry all four by themselves. The only way was to use magic. While Yoongi attend to their injuries and keep them unconscious, Taehyung was doing the heavy lifting. "I don't know why you're helping but thank you." Taehyung said, nodding at the sorcerer. Yoongi's device beeped. It must be his brother. "The human is on the ship." He said. Yes Jongdae had asked them to contact the blue clan leader on Kai's behalf. Sehun's dad was with them. And Yoongi had tasked the younger prince with that. "Then let's go." Taehyung said, once again gazing at the sorcerer, he hesitated before saying."Can't you stop him?" He knew it might not be possible, but seeing as Magus Choi helped them, it was clear he didn't endorse of Heechul's way and he was the closest to the black dragon at the moment. Something flashed in his eyes but then it was gone before Taehyung could catch it's meaning."I am afraid I can't. This is the best I can do." The sorcerer said. "We both know General Drake is the only one that can." He added before making his way out, while stepping over the guards that Taehyung had used his persuasion to put to sleep. He didn't like taking a life, only when it was absolutely necessary. Like Heechul's, which he wasn't powerful enough to. The sorcerer was right. Kai must be the one to end it. No matter how much it would hurt, after all Heechul was his father. Killing one's father was never easy, but it had to be done. It was the only way. Heechul would never change his ways. The only way to stop him was to kill him. Taehyung had come to terms with that a long time ago, more so when he found his family in this state. Sharing a second nod, Yoongi pressed the teleporting device, and instantly the six people disappeared from the dungeons, only to appear on their ship. With Yoongi's help, Taehyung placed the people in their seats, while Beomgyu was quick to strap them in.  Taking his seat, Taehyung strapped himself and quickly set course for their next destination. They were heading to Logan. It was where Jongdae said Sehun's ship had crashed. With practice moves, he maneuver the ship out of the forest and flew them up above. "Have I ever told you, how much you when I see you like this." Yoongi said beside him. Grinning, Taehyung glanced at his husband. "Don't worry husband, we'll have plenty of chance to on this ship on our way back home. Who knows maybe we'll make a space baby." Something they both wanted so badly. It was only a matter of time though, after all, Taehyung was a fertile bearer, born to carry Yoongi's children. Behind them, Beomgyu let out a choked sound, that was accompanied by the sound of clearing his throat. "I think I will put myself to cryo sleep in other to save my innocence." Yoongi barked out a laugh, while Taehyung mock a gasp "Oh brother in law rest assured, I will make sure to find you a mate soon. You're too pure for my liking." "Just hurry and get us out of here. Being in this place makes me uneasy." Was the response he got from the boy. "On it." Taehyung's fingers flew on the control in a complicated way that only a pilot could understand. Within a less than a minute he had successfully activated the hypedrives."We'll be in Logan in an hour or so. Keep your eyes on them back there." *** His feet padding on the wooden floor, Hyunjin felt like he wasn't going fast enough. His body trump with the need to be close, to hold and to kiss his mate. He couldn't believe Bang Chan was actually here for him. To say he was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. If he had known, he would have made it his priority to come as soon as they crash landed. Instead he had spent a significant amount of time with friends, though he didn't regret the time he spent with them, because they were also important to him, but not as equally important as his mate.  His mouth splitting up in a smile, Hyunjin rounded the corner to the room Bang Chan was assigned to, only to come to an abrupt halt at the sight of Felix. The younger was stood just a few paces away from Bang Chan's room, with his arms crossed, eyes shut like he was taking a nap. But the tension in his shoulders told another story. Was he waiting for me? Hyunjin wondered, his heart spiking for some reason."Lix?" He asked between heavy breathes, coming to stand in front of him,  Felix blinked his beautiful grey eyes open, and the look in them almost had Hyunjin dropping to his knees. What the ? Shaking that thought away, he dragged in a deep breath before he spoke."Why are you here?" He asked. He didn't get why Felix was here, wearing an emotion like he had just lost his precious puppy. Was there something the Omega wanted to talk about? He had thought they had done all the catching up, like they were supposed to as friends. "I know you'll be here the moment you hear–" Felix waved a hand to the path leading to Bang Chan's room with a frown "so I came see you." He said, running a hand through his hair. "Is something wrong." Hyunjin asked, confused. Everything about Felix screamed something was wrong, but he didn't want to jump into conclusion, knowing Felix. It might probably be nothing. "Not really" Felix shrugged, eyes boring into Hyunjin's. Wait! If he know Hyunjin was going to be here, then it meant he knew Bang Chan was in Logan. "You've known he's here." He asked just to be sure, even though he was certain Felix did know. Show enough Felix nodded. "I do." "Why didn't you tell me?" As his best friend, he had told Felix about Bang Chan the moment he found out the fate connecting them. Though Felix hadn't found his mate but as wolf he should know the importance of a mate. It was something they were taught. In response Felix let out a laugh that lack any humor. He sounded sad, almost heartbroken, which didn't make sense. "You really don't know?" "No I don't." Hyunjin shook his head, seriously. "It's simple Hyunjin. Look at me, like really look at me, you'll find your answer."  What was his friend trying to say? "Felix can we postpone this talk? I am not really getting you and right now I really–" He said, already turning to walk away, at same time the door to Bang Chan's room open, as the vampire stepped out, looking every inch handsome as always. "Hyunjin-ah." The vampire said, with a small smile, his dimples on display.  "Chris." Hyunjin breathed out, heart racing, making his way over, only to be stopped when he took a step. He looked to see Felix holding his hand. "Don't go. Please." His eyes were glistening with unshed tears. "Here me out first." "Felix I would like to hear you out, but I really can't, not when Chan is standing paces away." He said, his tone apologetic. Felix gave a jerky nod, tightening his hold for a moment before letting go at same time tears gathering at the edge of his eyes. Hyunjin's heart dropped."Lix?" Something was wrong. He had never seen his friend like. For an Omega, Felix was strong and rarely show vulnerability. "Chan a moment please." He said to the vampire that hummed, before giving Felix his attention. Felix was crying, fat tears running down his freckled face. "I am sorry, I –" he began, but choked on his words. "Hey! You can talk to me about anything. What's wrong?" Hyunjin cupped the Omega's face, at same time his brain getting ahead of him, trying to figure out what the problem might be. Felix wiped his tears furiously, glancing at Hyunjin with determination in his eyes, that could be described as do or die. "I am in love with you." He said in a low voice. If not for his wolf senses, Hyunjin might have missed the words. They gazed into each other's eyes, Hyunjin trying his best to find the jest, but what he saw was far from that. Felix was telling the truth. He was in love with his best friend, something Hyunjin was a having a hard time believing. As far as he was concerned, Felix was the one that ended their arrangements not long ago. "Why suddenly?" He asked. Felix shook his head, sniffing."It's not sudden. I've been in love with you for a while now." He let out a breath. "Which is why I ended our friends with benefits thing. Because I know you don't and might probably never see me as something more." Hyunjin closed his eyes. He felt like a blunt knife was being pushed into his heart. Why now? What was he supposed to say or do? Honestly he was attracted to Felix, he wouldn't have slept with him if he wasn't, he cared about him too. But other than that, he never thought of him as a potential mate. Speaking of which, he glanced at Chan that was stood watching them with both hands in his pocket, he looked amused, like he was enjoying watching the show, then to Felix. Hyunjin had never felt so conflicted in his life before. "Say something." Felix said, desperately. Hyunjin closed his eyes for a brief moment."Lix I don't know what to say."  "Is it because of him?" The younger asked. When Hyunjin opened his eyes, Felix had his head lowered. "Yes and no." He began. "Yes because he's my mate and I like him–" Felix didn't let him get to the point as he jerked away as though burnt "I understand." "No you don't. Let me finish. No, because I've never thought of you like that, not because of anything but because I never thought you'd want me that way. I've always seen you as someone out of my reach." To him Felix was like a star in the sky, a distant dream hard to grasp, only to be admired from afar. "Why would you ever think that?" Felix blinked rapidly. "Have I ever given you any reason to?" Hyunjin let out chuckle despite himself. "No you haven't. But I just never forget." He said."You're a born wolf, not made like me. You're from a Noble family. A soldier, a beautiful omega that could have anyone he wanted." Hyunjin confessed. "But not you." Felix whispered, coiling on himself. "Am not saying that." Hyunjin shook his head, grabbing Felix's shoulders, in case he decided to leave before understanding what Hyunjin was trying to say. Truth was: Hyunjin himself didn't understand himself at the moment, he was confused, because never in his wildest dreams had he thought of Felix wanting him this way.  You can have him now. Something inside of him said. Have them both. That thought had him freezing. No Felix deserve someone better, and Bang Chan doesn't deserve to have to share his mate.  But you want a child don't you?
