𝐇𝐢𝐬

We're near my home and Nabi's still sleeping. I'm still holding her hand while driving, not wanting to let her go any moment. We entered my apartment complex and already passed through security checks. I parked the car on my designated parking spot and looked over her. She's sleeping like a baby that is wrapped in a blanket. I leaned over and plant a kiss on her cheeks. I rub her cheeks lightly, trying to wake her up. "Nabi-yah. we're home. Come on, let's go up and you can continue your sleep there, baby." she must be so tired that she's still sleeping soundly right now. I kept planting kisses on her cheeks that causes her to flutter her eyes a little bit.

"Did we arrived already?" she asked me in her sleepy voice. I nodded, "Yes, baby. I've been trying to wake you up for minutes ago but you wouldn't budge." I held her hand and kissed it. She pouted, "I'm sorry. I'm very sleepy that I probably didn't hear you waking me up." I smiled. "No worries, nabi. Come on, let's go up so you can continue to rest comfortably upstairs." 

I gathered her things and help her get out of the car. I held her hands and walked towards the lobby. We rode the elevator and pressed the floor where my unit was. I wrapped my arms around her and let her lean to me. She didn't do anything but let herself lean to me, maybe she was still feeling weak after what happened today. The elevator doors opened and we walked towards my apartment door, I entered my pin, which is a combination of her birthday and our anniversary date. I felt that she was looking at me after I entered my pin but I just smiled at her. I opened the door and guide her to the nearest sofa to let her seat and settle herself first. 

I left her there and put her things in my room. Once I got back she's sitting on the sofa, cuddling one of the throw pillows while closing her eyes. I smiled and walked towards her, I sat near her and leaned and whispered, "Are you hungry, baby?" she shook her head. "But you have to eat, nabi. You need to eat so you can recover fastly." I kissed her head. "Why you just don't want to take care of a sickly woman like me, right? It's a hassle, right? I told you that I would just rest at home but someone persisted to take care of me because he was feeling guilty but look who's complaining right now?" she looked at me, more like glared at me. I chuckled when I saw her sulking. I wrapped my arms around her making her head lean towards my chest. She's just burying her face and does not want to face me since she was still sulking. 

"I didn't say that, nabi. I just don't want to see you weak and sick like this. I'll still take care of you even if you've already recovered and are fine. Why would I not take good care of my precious baby, I would even exchange it from everything I own, for you to let me take care of you every single day of your life. Isn't it a great idea to let me take care of you forever, baby?" I chuckled as she quickly looked up making her dizzy. She was holding her head while rolling her eyes at me. She just snickered and turn her body away from me.

One thing about Nabi when she's not feeling well, she doesn't have the appetite to eat and would always say that she's not hungry even if she didn't eat anything heavy for a couple of hours. "Really, Nabi. You have to eat, eomma called a while ago, she probably heard that you went to her close friend's hospital and because of that, she said that she'll make you homemade meals so that you can recover well."

She shook her head, "I don't have any appetite to eat. I would just throw everything up and you know how I hate to throw up. Just tell eomma to not bother and just rest since she would come a long way to go here." I smiled, hearing her still call my mother 'eomma' fills my heart full.

"Well, sorry baby. Eomma is on her way here already. She's staying over at Dami noona's place since last week. I tried to tell her that you wouldn't like to tire her, making homemade dishes for you but she insisted, saying her other daughter needs to be fed since she's sick right now." I crossed my arms and smirked at her.

She made a horrified look and quickly stood up, making her dizzy, and flop back to the sofa. She was still wincing in pain and trying to ease the pain by holding her head for her dear life. I went into my room and get a blanket, walked back to the sofa, and gathered her in my arms which she didn't try to struggle to free herself. She just let herself melt in my embrace. I the TV to watch some shows, after a few minutes of tapping her to sleep, I heard a soft snore from her. I looked at her who's face is buried on the crook of my neck. 

I continued watching until an hour already passed when the door opened. I saw my mother and noona standing on the porch. I just nod at them, since I can't move from where I am sitting since someone's still in my embrace sleeping.  

"Where's Taeyeon-ah, Ji?" Dami noona asked. I just chuckled and remove the blanket that's covering me and nabi. "She's here, noona," I said. She looked over and said, "Aigoo, why is she so red? I thought that she's okay a while ago?" She said while placing her palm on nabi's forehead to feel her temperature. "Well, she is okay a while ago but I think her fever came back again." She nodded and silence filled the atmosphere. 

"Why is she here, Ji? Are you back together now? I know Taeng wouldn't go here unless you both are back together or you forced her to be here with you." Dami noona eyed me suspiciously. I smiled sheepishly, "I asked her to be here, noona, so that I can take care of her when she's sick like this. Also, her friends told her to do so. Still, it would be her choice to come with me or not, but she came home with me."  I grinned. "Arasseo, now don't do anything stupid, bad boy. Wake Taeng up since eomma's already preparing the dishes." she went to the dining area to help eomma prepare the food. 

"Baby, wake up. The food's here as well as eomma and noona." I rubbed her back and remove the hair that's blocking her face that's still resting on my chest. "Baby, let's wake up now, or else the food will get cold and you have to fill your tummy with some food since you have to drink your medicine." I caressed her cheeks. 

She fidgets in her sleep and looks up, "Eomma and Dami unnie are here already?" I nodded. She sat up and fixed her hair, "They didn't ask for me?" 

"They did, baby. But I showed them that you're sleeping soundly above me, so they just prepared the food first and ask us to come when they are finished already, and now they're done and waiting for us in the dining room." She pouted and proceed to the dining area. She was engulfed into a hug by eomma, who repeatedly asks her if she's fine and showing her the food she made for her to eat.

"Taengoo-yah! Aigoo, my daughter. Why are you so thin right now? You should really eat, I don't like that you lost a lot of weight compared to the past. Maybe you're really stressing yourself these days, maybe because of someone, right?" then eomma glared at me while Tae just chuckled. "Aigoo, let's start eating so you won't starve yourself especially you're sick right now." she guided Tae to sat one of the chairs. "Yah Kwon Jiyong, You'll just stand there? Do we really have to call you to get your over here?"

I pouted and sat on the chair facing Tae. "Eomma, you're so mean. I'm your son but why don't you also serve me the food that you made?" I whined when I saw eomma putting food in Tae's plate. "Yah, you have your own hands use it. Taeng is the one who needs assistance since she's sick. Apparently, you seem very healthy to me, so start eating." I just pouted and started to get some food to munch on.

"Thank you, eomma, for this delicious food. It's nice to have some homemade meals especially when you're sick. I'll eat this deliciously." she smiled at eomma, "Aigoo, my daughter. You don't have to thank me. Since I heard from my friend that you went to their hospital a while ago, I immediately told Dami to get me some ingredients and make you some dishes. I know that Jiyong wouldn't have anything edible here in his home because he never buys his groceries only his luxurious delicacies for his expensive palate." eomma shook her head disapprovingly. 

We continued to eat, "You should have lunch with us sometime next week, Taeng. Your appa already misses you that he asks about you constantly." Tae smiled and replied, "I'll try, eomma. If I have some time off next week then I'll meet you and appa so we can have lunch together. Please also say to appa that I miss him too." Eomma nodded, "Of course, I'm sure he'll be very happy to hear from you and I know that he would throw some of his mini tantrums knowing that I meet you today and had lunch with you." 

Our lunch continued and not long after that, all the dishes that eomma cooked vanished. Tae stood up and walked over to the sink where the kitchenware we used are placed. She was about to start washing the plates when I approached her.

I s my arms around her waist, "Baby, you're not allowed to do some chores today. Go and have some rest on the sofa or in my room, okay?" she shook her head "No, I didn't do anything today, I should help in washing these dishes at least." she proceeded to get the sponge but I pulled her closer to me and away from the sink. "I said no, Kim Taeyeon. You should take some rest. You still have a fever right now. Don't be stubborn, okay?" she didn't look at me and just continued to stare at the floor. I held her chin so that she can look at me, "I'm not mad, Taeng. I just don't want you to tire yourself even more. You went here because I want to take care of you and not to let you lift even a single finger to do some chores, okay? Now drink your medicine it's on the table near the sofa, okay? You better drink it, baby. Don't be stubborn." I plant a kiss on her cheeks.

"He's right, Tae. Let him do all the work that man doesn't do anything so let him be. You should have some rest, Tae." I nodded at what Dami noona said. "Just rest, Tae, and drink your medicine, okay? Noona can you look if she really drank her medicine since this woman can be stubborn at times." Dami noona just nodded while the stubborn lady glared at
