The loud cheering of the crowd rang through Minjoo’s ears. Great. One strike left and they win the game. The opponent team was already on their last batter. From what Minjoo had heard from the discussion of their team, the opponent batter was only a freshman who joined the opponent team out of curiosity and had no prior training before she joined the team.

Letting out an exhilarating sigh, Minjoo began to form her pitching starter. The moment she dropped her left foot to the ground, she forcefully swung her right hand, throwing the ball with full force.

She blinks, then a loud cheering of the crowd rang through her ears once more. The batter of the opponent team stood frozen in her place.

“AH! MAJESTIC WINNING STRIKE FROM MISS KIM MINJOO A.K.A PITCHING ANGEL!”

“Indeed! As expected, Miss Kim really lives up to the name of Angel Pitcher. Her pitches always look beautiful and don’t fail to strike!”

“That’s a win for Diamond Wizards of Produce Girls High with 21 runs out of 9 innings! Produce Girls High are now the current champions of 54th Girls’ highschool baseball league.”

Minjoo threw off her baseball cap after the commentator announced their win and ran towards the members of her team with open arms. She was welcomed by loud cheering and warm (and sweaty) hugs from her members.

When they finally let go, she hears the captain of their team shout a proud, ‘Dinner at my restaurant! It’s on the house!’. Minjoo chuckled, then she felt a weight tackle her to the ground.

“As expected from our Minjoo!”

“Yah, Chaewonnie! You’re heavy, get off me!” Minjoo whined, pushing off her best friend to the ground and laughing when her Chaewon pout. She stood up and dusted herself then held out her hand for Chaewon.

“Bummer!” Chaewon whined as she took Minjoo’s hand and stood up. “Really though, you looked really cool doing that pitch!”

Minjoo lightly pushed Chaewon’s shoulder out of embarrassment.

Then they heard the captain calling for Chaewon to return the helmet she used before the ending ceremony starts. Chaewon chuckled and ruffled Minjoo’s hair. “I’ll go return this.” Chaewon said and ran off towards the spot of their group.

“M-Minjoo-sunbaenim!” A voice called.

Minjoo flung her head to the direction of the voice and saw an unfamiliar girl wearing one of their cheering team’s uniform, holding a can of grape flavored soda.

Minjoo thought the gi looked kind of familiar, then she realized… The girl in front of her was- what was it again? Yujin? She heard about Yujin from Yena, who was the assistant captain of the cheering squad, as the cute freshman that captured the hearts of the whole cheering team.

Minjoo just gazed  at younger girl, who stood still, starstrucked by Minjoo’s beauty. Minjoo cleared . “Hi- uh.. How can I help you?”

The face of the younger girl suddenly set aflame. “I-” Minjoo could feel so much nervousness from the girl that she couldn’t help but chuckle. “S-Sunbaenim.. That was a-a fantastic game!” She held out the can of soda to Minjoo as she held her pompoms closer with her other hand.

Minjoo smiled softly at the younger girl, pointing at the soda can. “Is this for me?” Then Minjoo took the can.

“Thank you. You’re Yujin, right?” Minjoo said, “Yena told me about you.” Then she flashed a smile. The face of the younger girl got even redder than before.

Yujin took a sharp inhale of her breathe before speaking. “I- P-Please continue working hard!” She squeaked.

‘Ah- she ran away’ Minjoo  chuckled to herself then looked at the soda. Lucky, it was her favorite grape flavored soda. Minjoo quietly hopes to see Yujin in their campus so she could thank her.

However, she got caught in tons of school work.

A week after winning the Girl’s Highschool Baseball League came the exam week, Minjoo hated the exam week and it’s not that she had poor grades. In fact, she had an above average grades despite being busy with their baseball training. It’s just that this specific exam week was one that she hated the most.

Minjoo slumped on her desk, she rested her head on the table. She felt dizzy, so she rested her head on the surface of her table.

“You look tired.” Chaewon said.

“She IS tired.” Then a familiar voice was heard.

“Oh shut up, Yena. Go back to your y saxophonist hamster.” Chaewon rolled her eyes when Yena whined a loud ‘hmp!’.

“Geez, you two are loud.” Minjoo said.

“That’s okay, you love us.” Yena responded as Minjoo faked a gag.

“ Aren’t you supposed to have lunch with the rest of the cheer squad?” Chaewon crossed her arms.

“ I promised Yuri I’d join her for lunch and I came to ask Minjoo about something.”

Minjoo’s brow quirked. “Me?”

“Yeah.”

“What about her?” Chaewon asked.

“Well, you see… There’s this cute baby sister/junior of mine in the cheering team who’s a fan of Minjoo. So last week, I told her she can give Minjoo a gift after the match.” Yena said.

“Yujin?” Minjoo replied as she prepared her stuff before they go to the cafeteria. Yena nodded. “What about her?”

“She started acting weird the day after she gave you a can of soda.”

“Weird? How?” Chaewon asked.

“Well..” Yena tilted her head, “At first, she just looks… um.. Bright?” Then she tilted her head to her left. “I mean, she’s always bright. Like a ball of sunshine.. But nowadays, she’s more of… Glowing? She even stopped teasing me and just keeps following me around like an over domesticated puppy.”

“I don’t see anything wrong with that” Chaewon said as she also packed her items.

“You don’t understand, Chae.. She’s always cute and bubbly and energetic but now- Argh! I give up.” Yena whined as the three of them walked towards the cafeteria.

Once they reached the cafeteria, most of the eyes were set on them. It’s making Minjoo feel a little anxious but she doesn’t fail to place a smile on her lips as they scanned the area for an open spot.

But then, a loud call of Yena’s name was heard in the cafeteria. “YENA-UNNIE!!” And Yena was tackled to the ground.

“Hey! Baby! Get off me!” Yena chuckled as she ruffled the hair of the younger girl as they stood up. Yena fixed Yujin’s hair and uniform before the younger girl latched herself to Yena, hugging her as if she hasn’t seen her for a long time.

Minjoo chuckled to herself when Yujin finally noticed her and Chaewon.

Then, Yujin let go of Yena and her face lit up a bright shade of red. Yujin froze in her place.

“A-Ah.. Minjoo-sunbaenim, Chaewon-sunbaenim, I-I didn’t see you there.. Ahaha…” Yujin said, awkwardness evident in her voice as she slowly hid herself behind Yena.

“Hi there!” Chaewon  greeted while Minjoo just flashed a smile and waved her hand. She carefully eyed the younger girl whose face was painted with a tint of red. She approached Yujin and pat the smaller girl’s head as Yena took a step away so Minjoo could pet her head.

Yujin’s head lowered after Minjoo pat her head. Her ears was as red as tomatoes. “Hey- uh, are you okay baby?” Yena asked, worried about the  change in the younger girl’s demeanour.

“I- Oh. I-I’m okay, unnie..” Yujin said as she took a step away from the older girls and ran away. “I-I’LL GO VISIT YURI-UNNIE FIRST”

“Aish- that girl…” Yena whispered, massaging her left temple. Yena fixed her own disheveled uniform as she faced the other two. “Uh.. Sorry for that. That girl, Yujin, is like an energetic puppy… Haha..” Yena awkwardly scratched the back of her head. “What do you think, Miss Pitching Angel?” Yena said, eyeing the Minjoo who was confused.

“What do I think?” Minjoo replied.

“Of Yujin!” Yena said as she leaned closer to Minjoo’s face as if the said girl’s words would be a something gossip-worthy. “She’s my baby and I want to know what her idol thinks of her!”

Minjoo leaned away and gently pushed Yena away from her face. “What are you leaning in for?” She asked, averting her eyes from Yena’s curious ones while Chaewon just chuckled at them.

“Your fans could hear about it and gossip and worst case scenario, baby Yujin would get bullied! Yujin is so pure and cannot be bullied!” Yena screamed and whispered at the same time.

“Then don’t ask me about it!” Minjoo shoved Yena’s shoulder away from her and covered her face at the mention of her ‘fans’. Minjoo still hasn’t acknowledged the fact that she had fans scattered in their school.

“But I’m curious!” Yena whined.

Minjoo turned to Chaewon and gripped the latter’s arm. “Chaewon, Yena’s bullying me!” She cried, letting out a puff when Chaewon just laughed at her.

“I’m also curious.” Chaewon smirked. “Besides, Yena just asked you about what you think of Yujin, what are you being defensive for?” She giggled. Then Minjoo suddenly pushed Chaewon away and crossed her arms.

“Fine!” Minjoo huffed. “I think she’s cute. Like a baby sister or something. I’ven never really interacted with her until last week.” She said, voice trailing off while she’s processing why Yena just grinned at her answer.

“Huh. I see..” Yena said. She clasped her hands and finally stood up from her seat. “I’ll go to Yuri’s table, I promised to eat lunch with her today. Eat well you guys.

[…]

The last of the exams were finally over. Minjoo stretched her limbs and yawned on her sit.. At least she gets two months of break after this. After she picked up her bag, she approached her best friend’s seat and tapped her best friend’s slouched shoulder before they went to training.

By the time Minjoo and Chaewon entered the baseball locker room, they were greeted with the cheerful chatting of their members. After Minjoo closed their locker room’s door, her eyes caught those of their captain’s.

“Minjoo-ah! Great timing, I was just about to ask Yeji here to call for you.” The captain of the baseball team, Eunbi, said. Then she held Minjoo by her hand, eyes intently staring at Minjoo. “Let’s talk after you change to your uniform.” Then Eunbi finally let go of Minjoo’s hand and left the room.

After Minjoo had changed to her uniform, she quickly looked for Eunbi at the field. Then she saw Eunbi doing simple stretches near the third base of the field.

“ What did you need me for, unnie?” Minjoo asked, trying to sound as casual as possible to cover the nervousness in her voice.

Eunbi grabs Minjoo’s wrist and pulls her to the bleachers near the left field where there were no students at all. Minjoo set her attention to the undertrainees who were doing their best in executing the drills.

“Hey, Minjoo? You okay?”

Minjoo snapped out of her trance.. The trainees she was observing earlier were having their short break now.

“Yeah, unnie.. I just remembered when I first joined the team..” Minjoo replied, her mind still thinking about her memories. She focuses her attention to her leader who chuckled in response.

“Yeah, I remember you and Chaewon getting hyped up whenever you did well.” Minjoo couldn’t help but smile at the memory. She remembers those days well… But for now, something else was boggling her mind. Eunbi hummed. “Say, what do you think of leading the team?” Eunbi asks, sincerity and worry both seething from her eyes and voice.

“What do you mean, unnie?”

Eunbi sighs. “Minjoo, it’s my last year in highschool next year. I want to enjoy my last year here without bearing the burden of leading the team.” Eunbi paused. “I want to pass the crown before the next school year starts. I think.. You’d be a good lleader”

Minjoo’s eyes widened. “W-what- Why me?”

Eunbi pressed her lips together, thinking of what to say next. “I just think you’d do well.” She says.

Would she be able to lead the team? Probably, but Minjoo believed otherwise. She leaned away from Eunbi. “Unnie.. I’m sorry but..” Minjoo says, voice trailing off.

“I can’t take the position as the captain.”

Eunbi looks at her, albeit a little disappointed because Minjoo had just rejected her offer. “Why not?” She asks as she tilted her head.

Minjoo averts her eyes from Eunbi’s gaze. “I don’t think I can…” She says, rather timidly.

Eunbi chuckles. “That’s fine, I won’t force you to take the position.” Eunbi says. She stood up and stretched her limbs again. “Do you think you can suggest anyone who would be a fitting captain?”

This time, Minjoo smiles. She know exactly well who to suggest. “Chaewon.” Minjoo knew she said the right person when Eunbi grinned at her.

Minjoo bowed as she went back to where her other team mates were. She hears Eunbi shout a “How about a game? Let’s do two innings so we don’t take too much time! The losing team has to buy us snacks.” From behind her. Minjoo smiles to herself when her team mates cheer.

[…]

The game ends with Minjoo’s opponent team having 5 runs while her team only had 4 runs. Unfortunately, her team had lost the game and have to buy snacks for the team now. Minjoo doesn’t mind since they all agreed to it in the first place.

Minjoo stretched her limbs as she placed last of the last equipments in their box container. Then she feels a tap on her shouler.

“You did well.” Chaewon said, slinging her arm around Minjoo’s shoulder. Minjoo chuckles at the action and lowers herself to take the box. She stumbled a little after because of how heavy the box was. Minjoo let go of the box and dropped it on the ground.

Chaewon chuckled and removed her hand from Minjoo’s shoulder. “You must’ve been tired from all those strong pitches.” She adds, gently patting Minjoo’s back.

“Minjoo-yah~” A familiar voice called. Minjoo looked behind her, where the voice was heard. It was Yena. Beside her was a familiar girl with a saxophone in hand.

Yena often told the two of them about Yuri. Though, most of Yena’s stories about Yuri was more like a kid gushing over her crush than an actual story. It’s not that far off anyway, Yena does have a big fat crush on Yuri. Yena once claimed it was love at first sight.

“Oh, hey Yena!” Chaewon greeted while Minjoo waved a smile to the two of them. “What’s up?” Chaewon added. Yena and Yuri continued walking towards the pair. Then suddenly, a smaller figure popped beside Yena. Minjoo knew that figure.

“Nothing much, we just accompanied Yujin here.” Then Yena slung an arm around the younger girl whose eyes seem starstrucked when Minjoo smiled at them.

When Yujin snapped out of her trance, she removed Yena’s arm around her and approached both Chaewon and Minjoo. With one soda can in each hand, she offered the sodas to the two girls. “I-I was watching your game e-earlier… It was really fun.”

Minjoo knew what flavor of soda Yujin was holding. The one on her left, was grape flavored. And on the other hand was orange flavored, Chaewon’s favorite. Minjoo took the grape flavored soda and smiled.

“Ohh!” Chaewon said after she took the orange flavored soda. “I was thinking of getting this one later. Thank you, I needed it.” Chaewon smiled at the younger whose eyes smiled when Chaewon opened the can and took a sip.

On the other hand, Minjoo stood there,  gushing on how cute the younger girl was. “Thank you.” Minjoo said as the younger girl smiled. “Did I look cool while playing?” She asked.

Yujin face lit up a bright shade of red at Minjoo’s words. Minjoo considered apologizing for suddenly teasing the younger girl. But Yujin shyly nodded in response. Minjoo couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at the cute girl. “Really? Thank you.” She placed her hand on the top of Yujin’s head, placing the younger girl in a trance.

“Ya- Yah! Kim Minjoo what are you doing to our baby!” Yena exclaimed, swatting Minjoo’s hand away from Yujin’s head. Yujin suddenly snapped out of trance and scrambled towards Yuri, who welcomed Yujin with a hug.

Chaewon replies, “Our?”

Then Yena huffs, “Yeah! She’s our baby!”

Both Minjoo and Chaewon cracked into a fit of laughter. “Really?” Chaewon says in between her laughter. “I’m sorry.” She adds and turns to the girl who was still hugging the youngest girl among them, “Yuri, right?” Chaewon offered her hand. “I’m Chaewon.”

Yuri let go of Yujin and the younger girl stood behind Yena. Yuri shook Chaewon’s hand before she replies, “I’m Yuri..” She says in a soft spoken voice. “Member of the brass band club. Nice to meet you.” She adds.

Then Minjoo shook Yuri’s hand. “I’m Minjoo. Nice to meet you.” She smiles.

“Yuri must be having a hard time taking care of a clown like you.” Chaewon says, making fun of the way Yena acts like a kid all the time.

Yena snickers. “Excuse you, I am not a clown.” Then she holds Yuri’s hand.

Chaewon laughs again. “Well… Yuri?”

Yuri smiles. “I like funny girls.” She says..

Both Chaewon and her burst into a fit of giggles when Yena gasped because of Yuri’s words.

“Told ya!” Chaewon mocks.

Then Minjoo’s eyes caught Yujin once more. The girl was playing with her fingernails, alternating from staring at it to staring at the ground. Minjoo doesn’t know how much force it took her to stop herself from cooing at the younger girl.

After a moment, Yujin finally looked up. Her beautiful hazel colored eyes locked into Minjoo’s eyes as she felt a blush creep up her cheeks.

“Ah, Right!” Yena says in a loud voice. “We have to get going, Yujin’s mom is already at the mall, we can’t make her wait more.” She says then pulls both Yujin and Yuri away from Chaewon and Minjoo.

Yujin throws one last glance at Minjoo before she lets Yena drag her away from the field.

“ Take care!” Chaewon says while Minjoo just waved a goodbye.

Minjoo stared at the still full can of soda in her hand. She smiles as she remembered how cute the freshman looked.

Minjoo feels a tap on her shoulder once more. Chaewon gestures a ‘let’s get going’ to Minjoo. Chaewon took one side of the box while Minjoo took the other. The two finally went to locker room.

Right after they entered the room, the two girls were greeted by a gleeful mood of their team. Apparently, the cheering team gave them a box of snacks and Eunbi took it as a chance to announce the passing of the position as the captain to Chaewon.

[…]

Their summer break has started and Minjoo was feeling hot and bored inside her house. Minjoo had sent a text to Chaewon if they could go hang out in the mall. Unfortunately, Chaewon had to help her younger sister study for cram school. Of course, Minjoo was a little bit disappointed but she can’t really blame her best friend for doing her obligations as an older sister.

She  decides to go to the mall alone. Usually, her father wouldn’t let her go alone, but since no one else can really accompany her, she took this as an opportunity to have an alone time.

[…]

Minjoo felt like she was going to die out of boredom.

She slumped her body against the table of the café she went in. It was only 3:11pm. Minjoo sighed against the table then took a sip of the iced coffee she ordered. She hummed in delight as she left the cold bittersweet liquid pass through her tongue then to . Minjoo sat up straight at looked around the café. Then someone caught her eye.

Few meters away from Minjoo’s position in the café was Yujin. Minjoo observed a little to see if she had anyone accompanying her. Minjoo smiles when she realized Yujin was alone.

Minjoo stood up in her seat and wanted to approach Yujin but stopped in her tracks as a guy approached the younger girl. The guy started talking to Yujin and somehow, Minjoo felt uneasy. The guy had some kind of predatory aura surrounding her but Yujin seemed to not have noticed yet.

Minjoo her feet dragging herself to approach Yujin. Then she called for the younger girl. “Yujin-ah!”

The girl looked to her direction and  suddenly looked like she was in relief. Minjoo wrapped the younger girl in a hug when she reached her. She eyed the guy in front of them who looked unamused. “I missed you!” Minjoo coos as Yujin returned her hug.

The man beside them clears his throat loudly and both Minjoo and Yujin looked at him.

“Do you know him?” Minjoo asks, raising a brow when Yujin shook her head. She turns to the guy who was looking at them menacing blank face. She feels a shiver run up her spine but steels her nerves when she remembers she was with Yujin.

“I’m sorry, sir. Did you need something?” Minjoo asks, obnoxiousness obvious in her voice just to show that she isn’t scared of the man. “I’m sure my parents taught me not to speak to suspicious strangers. I’m sorry, sir but we have to go.” Then Minjoo held Yujin by the hand and intertwined it. She quickly dragged the younger girl away from the suspicious man, leaving him dumbfounded and frozen in his place.

Once Minjoo was sure they had lost the man, they were already on the other side of the mall. She huffed, face a little reddish because of the hot weather even though they were inside the mall.

“Thank you, sunbaenim… I was starting to get uncomfortable by him and I didn’t know what to do.” Yujin says, wiping her sweat with her pink handkerchief.

Minjoo smiled. “No problem. I was just inside the café when I saw you, so I decided to approach you.” She said. “Why are you alone anyway?”

Yujin hummed. “I’m supposed to meet Yena-unnie and Yuri-unnie today at 4pm.” Yujin looked at her small white wristwatch that brightly stated 3:32pm.

“There’s still time left, I’ll accompany you for a while.” Minjoo offered, she can’t just leave the girl alone after what had just happened.

Yujin looked at the older girl, eyes widened in surprise. “A-Ah, s-sunbaenim, you don’t have to do that! I-I’ll be fine!” Yujin wanted to slap herself for stuttering so much with one line.

A frown appears on Minjoo’s lips. “No, I insist.” Minjoo grabbed the younger girl’s hand and intertwined it. She doesn’t fail to notice the blush on Yujin’s cheeks. “I can’t afford to let you get in trouble again.” Minjoo tightened her hold on the younger’s  hand.

Yujin feels her heart swoon at the words of the older girl. She lowered her head as she nodded, letting the older one pet her head. “O-Okay..” She mutters.

Minjoo couldn’t help but chuckle at the younger girl’s cuteness. She nudged Yujin’s hand a little and smiled when the younger looked at her. “Is there anything you want to do first?” Minjoo asked.

“How about a drink?”

[…]

Minjoo took a sip of her water then had a bite of one of the assorted colored macaroons infront of her. In front of her was Yujin, who was happily sipping on her chocolate milkshake. Minjoo smiles at the sight, it feels like a date. “So um..” Minjoo hummed, gaining the attention of the younger girl. “How long has it been since you began to do cheer dance?” She asks, internally slapping herself with how dumb she had just sounded.

“Um…” Yujin raises her her hands close to herself and counted. Looks like she had been doing cheer dancing for a long time. But Minjoo couldn’t help but laugh softly when Yujin answered. “Uh.. Ten months?”

“Really? You must be talented to get to the team then!” Minjoo cheered. Yujin was about to respond but Minjoo’s phone rang. Minjoo ignored her phone though.

“Minjoo-sunbaenim..” Yujin called, head lowered as she focused her eyes to her bag on her lap. Her hands were placed on the table and fidgeted.

“Yeah?”

“Thank you for saving me today…”

Minjoo felt something warm spreading through her chest. She doesn’t know whether it was something good or not. It was as if someone opened up the lights in a dark room or started a fire in her chest.

When Minjoo snapped out of her trance, she smiled at the younger girl. “I should thank you too, I had fun roaming around the mall. I’m not really used to being alone.” She chuckled.

Unbeknownst to Minjoo, a certain figure was standing behind her, smirking in a devilish manner.

Minjoo felt a pair of hands snake from her ears then to her eyes, covering her sense of vision. Minjoo flinched and squealed. “Guess who~” the owner of the hands said.

“Chaewon!” Minjoo exclaimed. The pair of hands finally let go of her. Minjoo turned her head to the figure and pout. Chaewon was smiling gleefully at her as she took the seat beside Minjoo. “Geez, you really had to scare like that, don’t you?”

“That was a cute squeal don’t you think?” Chaewon teased, ignoring the way Minjoo huffed and puffed. She couldn’t ignore the slight pain when Minjoo slapped her shoulder though. “Ow…”

Yujin quietly giggled at the small banter of the two older girls in front of her. Chaewon cleared as she focused her attention on the youngest girl. “Hi there, Yujin right?” Chaewon held out her hand for the younger girl to shake. Chaewon leaned back to her seat and stealthily nudged Minjoo’s side. “Why didn’t you tell me you were with Yujin?” She whispered.

Minjoo shyly scratched her ear. “I was going to tell you but you really had to scare me first. I saw her standing alone infront of [Shop] alone so I approached her.” She whispered back. “Why are we whispering anyway?” She argued.

But Chaewon only refocused her attention to the confused freshman in front of them. “I’m sorry you had to go on a date with Minjoo. She’s quite a boring person.” Chaewon said, a small smirk quirking at her lips when the younger girl’s face lit up a light shade of red and covered her face with her hands.

Of course, this doesn’t slip past Minjoo’s ears and felt her own face warm up. Then she slapped Chaewon’s arm again. “Stop it!” She shout, ignoring the stares of the people around them.

“No, no.. Minjoo-sunbaenim saved me earlier, I’m very grateful for that.” Yujin said, shyly tucking a lock of her hair behind her ears. To Minjoo the scene was really beautiful. Now that she has taken a closer look at the younger, Yujin was indeed pretty. Yujin’s eyes bore a beautiful shade of brown, shining splendidly like a bunch of stars in sky.

“Heh~” Chaewon’s voice cut through Minjoo’s trance. “I kind of want to ask about what happened so I can tease Minjoo her-“ Chaewon was momentarily stopped from speaking when Minjoo shout a quiet but assertive ‘Hey!’ while she was speaking. “But my arm already hurts so I’ll just ask why you’re alone.”

“I’m supposed to meet Yena-unnie and Yuri-unnie at—” Yujin paused. Then she quickly grabbed her phone from her bag, flinching slightly when she touched the hot surface of the phone. Her phone must’ve been ringing for a while. She checked the time and saw the phone’s digital clock stating 4:18pm.

Y“H-Hello?” The freshman winced when she heard the loud voice from the other line. “Don’t worry, unnie. I’m fine.” Yujin paused for a moment to let the other girl speak. “I’m with Minjoo-sunbaenim and Chaewon-sunbaenim.. We’re at [Café].”

“Was that Yena?” Minjoo asked. Yujin looked at her and nodded while Minjoo hummed at her response.

“Yena-unnie is really protective of me, for some reason.” Yujin sheepishly said, lightly scratching her head. “Yena-unnie and Yuri-unnie will be heading here soon.” Yujin said, then a wave of silence crashes to them.

“Ah, Yujinnie.” Minjoo called, gaining the attention of the younger girl. Minjoo used her best smile and leaned closer to Yujin. “You can just call me unnie. I’m not used to anyone calling me sunbaenim..”

Chaewon let out an obnoxious snort at Minjoo’s words. She poked and nudged Minjoo’s shoulder as she spoke. “Heh~ But you never tol
