The movie night was decided unanimously to occur on a Friday night two weeks after Wendy and Seulgi had seen Irene. After returning to the group, Taeyeon and Seulgi had shot her a lot of worried looks, trying to make sure that no harm had come to her physically or emotionally during the talk, but Irene's red rimmed eyes made it clear that the one who was hurt the most was not Wendy. Irene had introduced her to Kim Jennie, a beautiful brunette with an amazing sense of fashion and beautiful cat-like eyes, ones who shot Wendy one of the coldest looks ever after seeing Irene and realizing that the younger girl had made her cry. "I'm sure all of our other highschool friends would love to meet you, after all, you've managed an impossible feat that many before you had tried and failed in highschool." Wendy told the girl with a genuine smile. While she was hurt that Irene had managed to get into a relationship, the brunette's obvious concern for Irene and her attempts to intimidate Wendy due to hurting her loved one made the younger one realize that Jennie truly had feelings for Irene and would take care of her. 
 

"I'll check my schedule to see if it's empty." She replied aloofly while curling an arm around Irene's waist. Irene blushed at the contact and shyly looked at Jennie, who's entire expression changed to one of comfort and affection as she looked back on her.

Seeing the two of them together had done something to Wendy, which is made her realize that she truly has to try and love someone new now. Before, despite the many girls that Joy would introduce, Wendy would only treat them as friends, refusing to consider anything else as she internally compared them to Irene and found them lacking. But the sight in front of her served as a reality check, and Wendy now understood that in life, people enter and exit it all the time, and if you stay hung up on the people that are no longe there, you miss the chance to cherish ones who are already in front of you.
