“Hmm, Hyuk-ah” Ahyoung answers the call as soon as she drifted away from the filming site.

“Dinner today?”

“Hmm, I think I’ll be free by then, I’m craving for some mango bingsoo”

“Okay, I’ll pick you up by seven” With that, Rocky just ended the call, making Ahyoung shaking her head, used by Rocky who just end the call without goodbye.

She sighs, knowing the reason Rocky asks her out for dinner. The boy must want to know what’s bothering Ahyoung this whole time.

Ahyoung knows she couldn’t hide it from a long time from Rocky about her problem as the guy always notice her change of behaviour.

“So, what is it?”

Ahyoung smiles at Rocky, blinking her eyes at him. The two were hanging at the rooftop of Ahyoung’s personal apartment after their dinner.

“You know your aegyo doesn’t work on me, so don’t even try. I need to know what’s bothering you, that you’ve become too cheerful than normal”

Ahyoung pouts at him, before she sighs.

“You know that I’ve been friend with Yuqi right?”

Rocky nods his head, gesturing the lady to continue.

“You know right, I have a trust issue being friend with woman because of my failed friendship, and I thought my friendship with Yuqi would be different. But I feel a distance with her, when she starts to get close with Tzuyu”

Rocky frowns at his bestfriend’s words. He knows that she feels extremely insecure being friend with girls, as girls tend to hate her guts or the way she has guy friends more than girls.

“To be freaking honest, I was not comfortable with Tzuyu when Yuqi invited her along to our outing. So, being the typical me, I distance myself from Yuqi”

Rocky glares at the lady as she put her hands up, as if defending herself.

“I know I know, I shouldn’t distance myself from her, since you always remind me that communication is the key. But what do you think Yuqi will think of me if I told her that I wasn’t comfortable with her new friend? It was selfish of me, to make her give up her friendship with Tzuyu just because I feel uncomfortable”

Rocky bit his lips, putting his arms around the girl’s shoulder, rubbing her arms as Ahyoung was at the verge of tears.

“And then, I heard that someone’s been telling her that I don’t like Tzuyu or hate her, that I’ve been talking bad about Tzuyu. The next thing I know, she confronts me telling that I wasn’t honest with myself and her. And she doesn’t give me the chance to explain as she says that she doesn’t want to be friend with me anymore”

Rocky sighs, as Ahyoung leans on his shoulder, tears streaming down her face.

“And as I told you earlier, this is my last try to befriend with girl”

“It’s okay, Ahyoung-ah. I’m here with you. You still have your Astro and NCT brothers too. We all got your back”

Ahyoung nods her head, remembering that she still has brothers who’s been there with her since Day 1.

“Now I know why you’ve been acting weird when we bumped into Tzuyu at the MBC waiting room. Why hasn’t you told me anything?”
