Autumn LoveTo say it was a long and exhausting day for Jeonghan was an understatement. Usually, he only need to take care of Yuchan, but today he needed to take care of Seungcheol as well since the other was sick. Now that he has succeeded on putting Yuchan to sleep, the only thing he had to do was check up on Seungcheol in his room. His body’s temperature has drecreased a lot in the evening. So after doing the last check, he hoped to get his back straightened on the bed.
Jeonghan pushed the door open as slowly, as if the other was sleeping inside and any creaking sound would wake him up. He peeked inside and Seungcheol lifted his head a bit to look at the door. So he wasn’t sleeping.
“How are you feeling?” Jeonghan took a seat on a chair right beside the bed. He put it there this morning to make it easier for him.
“Much better.” Seungcheol answered, his voice hoarse from the lack of use. He closed his eyes when Jeonghan put a palm on his forehead and opened his eyes again right when it was pulled away.
“Good. Let’s see if you’re really good in the next morning, then you can go to work.”
Seungcheol only nodded weakly. “Jeonghan, I want some tea. Can I get some tea?”
“Sure, hold on. I’ll make it for you.” Jeonghan then left him to the kitchen, he made a glass of chamomile tea in order to make Seungcheol sleep sooner. Well, other than taking medicine, Jeonghan was a believer of getting some sleep to make you get better when you’re sick.
When he came back to the room, Seungcheol’s eyes were shut and he breathed steadily. Jeonghan put the tea on the side table, assuming the other had fallen asleep while waiting for his tea. He tied his hair while sitting on the chair eyeing the other since it was his first time to get to see Seungcheol up close like this.
Jeonghan realized there were a lot of things he just noticed, like his white skin that looked even paler; a contrast to his plain black hair, the long eyelashes, also the dark circles under his eyes. Regretting the missing pair of dimples on his cheeks that always appear every time he smile. Jeonghan brought a hand to softly caress on Seungcheol’s hair. He must’ve worked really hard all this time, Jeonghan thought. He let his hand linger for a while before he decided it was his time to go.
“Why’d you stop?” Jeonghan shrieked out when Seungcheol suddenly opened his eyes, moreover talked. “Are you really that surprised?”
“I thought you’re asleep.” Jeonghan said in semi-annoyed tone, quickly changing the topic to hide his embarrassment. “Here’s your tea.”
“Uh, right. Thanks.” Seungcheol straightened himself and leaned on the headboard. Sipping on the tea quietly.
“Okay, then I’ll take my leave-“ Seungcheol abruptly took a hold on Jeonghan’s wrist.
“Don’t go.”
“Why? Do you need anything? Or does it hurt somewhere?” Jeonghan showed a concerned look and Seungcheol felt slightly guilty about that.
“Nope. Just… don’t go. I’m sick.” Seungcheol looked up at him pleadingly, Jeonghan heaved.
“Fine, I’ll wait you to sleep.” Right when he was about to sit, Seungcheol tugged on his wrist again.
“Here.” Seungcheol tapped the space next to him on the bed and the other was strongly against the idea, but Seungcheol didn’t budge. He placed down the half-drunk tea and pulled the other harder instead. “Please.”
Jeonghan just wanted to run away because Seungcheol was acting strange towards him. He was all quiet today, so what’s with this sudden change of beh
