five.
Autumn Love“Fire fire! Shoooo” Yuchan brings a clothes hanger and points it out to Seungcheol as if he’s shooting a gun. Seungcheol dodges his attack by rolling over on the floor and hides behind the couch.
“I will never let you kill me. Try harder!” he says. He’s holding a pillow in one hand, putting it over his chest as his shield and a plastic ruler in the other hand as the sword.
Yuchan crawls on the floor, aiming his imaginary gun at the perfect angle. “Shoot!” but Seungcheol’s fast enough to dodge it again it makes Yuchan growls angrily. “You come heeeere” he runs towards Seungcheol to catch him and the older immediately gets up on his feet to escape from him.
The war suddenly turns into a run and catch competition between the two. Yuchan laughs as he is chasing the older around the living room. Seungcheol runs backwards whie facing the boy and tries to provoke him by sticking his tongue out at him. Yuchan bites the bait and fastens his feet but it makes him trip on the pillow which is on placed on the floor. He falls, his head also bumps into the wooden coffee table.
Both of them freezes. Seungcheol’s jaw drops and he only moves when Yuchan finally cries out loud and his body sprawled on the floor. Jeonghan suddenly comes out of his room, face terrified as if something threatening his life just happened. Oh, of course. Everything about Yuchan is that precious for him.
Jeonghan kneels beside the tiny boy, picking him up and checking his body from head to toe looking for the hurting part. “Shh, don’t cry baby, Didi’s here.”
While Seungcheol’s watching in total silence. He’s still on his previous spot, not moving even a bit. It’s his first time seeing Yuchan cry and it’s this bad. The kid is literally bawling his eyes out. Guilty washes over him.
“Seungcheol.” Jeonghan calls out as he’s still rocking Yuchan in his embrace. “Choi Seungcheol, breath!” he taps Seungcheol on the shoulder and just like a magic, the other finally move, and blinks, and breaths.
“Uh-oh, Jeonghan, I’m so- sorry, I-“
“Hey, why are you so pale? I can’t calm two people down at the same time. Let me finish with this kid first.” Jeonghan turns to look at Yuchan who’s hiccupping once in a while, trying to stop his cry even though there’s this part somewhere on his forehead stinging pretty bad. Jeonghan brings Yuchan over the couch, but he refuses to let go and only wrapping his arms around his neck tighter.
“Where does it hurt?” he pulls away a bit to look at Yuchan’s face, but his question seems to make the sting feel stronger cause Yuchan lets out a whine. “Okay, okay, let me see.”
“I think I saw him bumped into the table earlier” Seungcheol scoots closer. And by the information, Jeonghan carefully brushes the hair off of Yuchan’s face to check it out. “Here.” Seungcheol points at the left side of his forehead.
Jeonghan takes a look at it only to gasp when he sees a bruise there, thankfully it doesn’t bleed. He asked Seungcheol to get a bowl of some ice cubes and a small towel while he sits on the couch with Yuchan on his lap.
“Yuchan, you like ice right?” Jeonghan asks but the said boy doesn’t reply. “I will put some ice on your forehead so that it won’t hurt anymore, okay?” he carefully put the cold towel on the bruise but Yuchan immediately cries and pushes Jeonghan’s hand away. He
