fifteen.
Autumn Love“Are you okay, hyung?” Mingyu once asked when Seungcheol and him were having their lunch break at the restaurant near their office.
“Yeah, why?” The older nodded.
Mingyu tilted his head unknowingly, “I don’t know, I feel like you’re kinda different these days”.
Seungcheol sighed. He got up from where he sat and walked into his room. He had been staring at the night sky for hours that his feet were freezing. It has been a week since Jeonghan left him. Since then, Seungcheol often found himself lost in his thoughts. He was so mad at Jeonghan, he still doesn’t know why the other could easily leave him like that. But he hated himself at the same time for not being able to approach Jeonghan directly. Seungcheol turned off the lamp
“Seungcheol hyung!!!” Mingyu waved his hand in front of Seungcheol’s face.
The said guy flinched, “whaaaat?” he answered with an annoyed tone.
“It’s time to go home, everyone left already, what’re you thinking about, really? You should thank me for not leaving you alone though,” Mingyu whined,
Seungcheol looked around to see no one but only the two of them in the room. He immediately pack up his stuff then walked out leaving Mingyu behind, making the younger’s jaw dropped before catching up to walk with the older.
“Are you gonna keep going on like this, hyung? I know something happened with you, but I really can’t understand why couldn’t you tell me if it’s affected you this much. ”
“How many times do I have to tell you to don’t mind me, don’t worry,” Seungcheol answered as they entered the lift together.
“I can’t, why? If you see me acting like you’re right now, are you sure you can just ignore me when we have to meet every single day and work at the same environment?” He couldn’t stand seeing the older living like a broken zombie. Pale skin with dark circles under his eyes, doesn’t talk at all unless it’s needed or a must. Been going on for two weeks if he wasn’t mistaken.
Seungcheol didn’t say a thing even until they arrived at the parking lot.
“Don’t think that I don’t know you’ve been going out to drink with the others after work which is a habit you’ve changed a long time ago.” Mingyu said before getting into his car.
Seungcheol grumbled when he realized the fact that he woke up early today since it’s Saturday and no work waiting to be done. He tried to get some more sleep but it failed miserably. Seungcheol reached for his phone to check on the clock, he grumbled again cuz why and just why his eyes opened at eight am on a nice cool weekend like this.
Seungcheol was daydreaming peacefully when he heard the sound of the front door being unlocked. When he realized that not many amount of people who know the passcode, Seungcheol sprinted all the way to see who did it.
“Hi”
“Oh?” Seungcheol clearly didn’t expect this person to appear on his door, moreover carrying big shopping bags in his hands. “Hi, Wonwoo.”
“Were you sleeping?”
“Nah, I’m already awake for quite some times,” he brushed his hair back, kicking the plastic cups on the floor, “sorry my house is kinda messy now”
“What do you mean kinda? It’s literally a total mess,” came another voice, that belong to Mingyu. He walked in with Minwoo.
“Hello, uncle Seungcheol, good morning!” Minwoo waved to the older and quickly ran to him when Seungcheol opened his arms for a hug.
Seungcheol hold him up, “yeahaa, long time no see, Minwoooo my boy”
“Minwoo, you should’ve take off your shoes first” Mingyu nagged.
Minwoo halfheartedly jumped off Seungcheol muttering “yeah yeah okay” in the process.
Mingyu and Wonwoo went straight to the kitchen which Seungcheol couldn’t care less and pulled Minwoo into his room to watch We Bare Bears together.
“Hey, let me do the cooking and you clean the mess there, how?” Mingyu helped Wonwoo unloading the shopping bags. After receiving a nod from the older, the two started working on their job desc.
Seungcheol and Minwoo were sprawled on the bed with the younger’s head on his abdomen for thirty minutes until Seungcheol felt his body slowly becoming stiff. “Minwoo, can I go take a shower?”
“Hmm, okay,” Minwoo sat up, eyes still glued on the television.
Seungcheol went into the bathroom for a quick shower. When he finally done, he saw Wonwoo’s figure going here and there since the door wasn’t closed properly. Seungcheol took his steps out of the room only to found out that Wonwoo was cleaning the trashes he left on the living room for days. Pizza boxes, variety cans of softdrink and soju, instant noodles cups and the others.
“Hey, stop, I can take care of it.” Seungcheol grabbed the handle of vacuum cleaner from Wonwoo’s hand.
Wonwoo glared at him, “too late, it’s all done,” then pressed the switch to turn it off.
“What..” Seungcheol was surprised by his action, he put the thing on the side, “why are you so mad, huh?”
“Everyone, breakfast is ready!!”
Minwoo put his spoon down and let Wonwoo wipe his mouth with a tissue.
“Was it delicious, Minwoo?”
“Daddy’s food is always delicious,” Minwoo gave two thumbs up towards Mingyu.
“Minwoo, Dad and I want to have a talk with uncle Seungcheol, is it okay if you wait over there for a while?”
Seungcheol, whose name mentioned in the conversation, turned his head fast to Wonwoo’s di
