9. He Knew!

Jinyoung drove to the bar, no one was there because it wasn’t open in the morning, but Jinyoung had the keys so he just locked himself in. He went to the fridge and got himself a beer. He was mad, he wanted to trust Mark, but after last night and seeing the couple this morning, he felt his blood was boiling of anger.

Flashback

Jinyoung was in bar drinking beer with the gang after sending Mark home. JB came a bit late and he looked weird and it worried Jinyoung.

“What’s wrong? You okay?” Jinyoung asked JB after the elder sat down

“Hey…...can I talk to you for a second?” JB asked and Jinyoung just shrugged his shoulder and said sure, before the both of them went to a privet room of the bar

Jinyoung drank his beer and sat down on the couch in the room. “So, what do you wants to talk about?” Jinyoung asked after JB sat down as well beside him

“You fell in love, didn’t you? You love Mark…...” JB asked with his head down staring at the beer he had in his hand

“Why you think that?” Jinyoung asked calmly, not affected by the question at all

JB let out a little chuckle before answering “Because I know you….” JB started without looking up “You never let people into our group easily, even Youngjae, you tested him before letting him in……And you usually sleep with the boy you date the first day. It been months and you and Mark still haven’t had …… don’t even try to deny it, I know you, I knew right away when you had and when you haven’t…...you waited for him, because he said he wasn’t ready…. It’s just so not you….” JB said and it was only silent left in the room  

“He’s special, I felt something the first day I saw him…. the shyly him…. the cute him, that he blushes to everything I said and do to him…... it’s just so cute…... I didn’t know why I waited either, why I didn’t I sleep him the first night…... but my heart just told me that I needed to be nice to him and protect him…. am I stupid?” Jinyoung told the elder what he felt and thought, and it made JB let out a sigh

“Why? You don’t like Mark?” Jinyoung asked since the elder only let out a sigh and sigh often mean negative

“It’s not that I don’t like Mark, it’s just that…. I don’t trust him….” JB said and let out a sigh once again

“Don’t be like Yugyeom and BamBam….” Jinyoung rolled his eyes and said

“I know you trust him, I tried to trust him as well, because of you…. but I think there is something you should know….” JB said and looked up from his beer and looked at the younger, made Jinyoung look at him as well

“What?” Jinyoung asked, looking at the elder

“Remember what Yugyeom said today at school? That Mark always is gone when we try to bully the new guy Jackson?” JB said, trying to make Jinyoung remember the conversation earlier today at school

“Yeah, but the maknaes never really liked Mark…. there’s nothing to think too much about….” Jinyoung said calmly while he drank his beer, but deep inside he knew something is wrong with Mark, but he just doesn’t want to figure it out

“I thought of the same at first, but when we went to the basketball court, I saw something….” JB said

“Saw what…” Jinyoung said, he’s getting impatient

JB took a deep breath and then continued “I saw a black bag on the side at the bench, I think it belongs to the new guy Jackson…. I saw him with that bag this morning…...and…...at the corner of the court, I saw a foot sticking out behind the wall, and the person where wearing a black Vans…... Mark wears black Vans everyday…...” JB said and he saw that Jinyoung starts to bits his lips to control his anger

“Black Vans shoes are just normal shoes…... many people have it…. not just Mark…. it can be the new guy’s…. him alone hiding behind there….” Jinyoung said, but not so calming anymore

“I know…. I don’t want to believe that it was Mark back there either, so I made all of us leave the basketball court…... I don’t want you to find out the truth like that, I don’t want you to get hurt….” JB said

“SO, WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH IT NOW? WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS?” Jinyoung shouted at JB, he was frustrating, he doesn’t understand what the elder want with all this

“I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT MARK ISN’T A GOOD GUY…...” JB shouted at the younger as well, but Jinyoung just stayed in silent, made JB continued

“I fallowed him today…...” JB said and it surprised the younger

“You what?” Jinyoung said with widen eyes, surprised of what he heard

“I saw him ran out of his apartment building right after you left…. and took a taxi…... I fallowed after to see who he was meeting…... I saw him went inside a building and pressed on the door bell for one of the apartment there…… what I saw later didn’t surprise me…... the one who opened the door was the new guy Jackson…...” JB told the younger the truth of what he saw and you can hear breaking sound of the beer bottle right after

“YOU’RE LYING…... MARK WON’T BETRAY ME…...” Jinyoung shouted after throwing his beer bottle

“BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THERE IS SOMETHING BETWEEN MARK AND THE NEW GUY THAT MARK IS HIDING FROM US……” JB shouted back and it made Jinyoung even more mad

“GET OUT…...” Jinyoung shouted and JB knew that the younger needed some time so he just went out of the room to the rest of the gang

“AAAAAHHHHH……” Jinyoung shouted and went out of the room as well, but instead of going to the rest of the gang he went to the bar counter and ordered vodka. He drank a lot and was really drunk, the member wanted to send him home, but Jinyoung just pushed them away and drove to Mark’s place alone without any accident. Jinyoung lying on his car and stared at the dark room upstairs, that he knew that belongs to Mark.

 “The light is off, Mark must be asleep…. he said that he was tired…. JB is lying…. he went home to sleep after I send him home…... he won’t betray me….” Jinyoung thought and let out a chuckle for his stupidity for trusting JB and think that Mark would betray him

“JB just don’t like him, so that’s why he…...” Jinyoung stopped his thought when he saw a family figure going out of the taxi, it was Mark

Mark looked surprised when he saw Jinyoung and the younger can see fear in Mark and redden eyes, did him cry? Jinyoung thought

“Jin…Jinyoung…... what are you doing here?” Mark asked stuttering

Jinyoung decided to give Mark a chance and play dumb for now. He pretended he knew nothing and went to the elder and acted cute and asked where he went. Even he already knew the answer. But Mark lied, he lied to him. Jinyoung was mad, he was mad for believing in Mark, he was mad for waiting for so long and what he got back of patient and waiting was betray.

“I want you….” Jinyoung whispered not showing his anger, after all he is still a good actor

In the car Jinyoung tried hard to make Mark his, he wants to prove that Mark didn’t betray him and loves him, that he would give himself to him. But he was wrong, Mark pushed him hard and slapped Jinyoung on the face. Jinyoung went out of the car and just let Mark leave.

“He didn’t even turn around to look at you….” Jinyoung thought and let out a chuckle while he slides his hand through his hair

Jinyoung waited there, sat inside his car and just stared at the window that belongs to Mark. He didn’t know why he waited there, but he just sat there staring blankly at that window, the dark room. Few hour later and he saw Jackson ran inside the same building where Mark lives, he got nervous and knitted his fist. A small light got in Mark’s room and Jinyoung stared at that window biting his lips to control his anger. A little while after, the light got turned off and none Jackson came out of the building. He felt his blood is boiling of anger and he hit the steering wheel hard. Jinyoung stayed the night inside the car waiting for Jackson to come out, but he didn’t. Not until the next morning where he came out together with his Mark, hands intertwined.

END OF FLASHBACK

Jinyoung drank his beer in one shot and then throw the bottle, it made a break sound and it was glasses everywhere. Jinyoung kicked the table hard and it made it fall, he then stands up and started to throw everything he sees in the bar

“AAAAAHHHHH…...” Jinyoung shouted and he felt his tears is falling down his cheek

“WHY MUST YOU BETRAY ME……WHYYYYYY…...” Jinyoung shouted and fell on the floor, he felt week and lost
