29. Date!

 

 

The next morning came and Mark woke up extra early to make breakfast and prepared for their date. Before going up to wake the younger, Mark made a call to Jackson

 

 

“Hey, bro….” Jackson answered the call and said

 

 

“Hey, Jackson….can you lend me some money?” Mark asked while rubbing his neck. He didn’t had enough money to take Jinyoung to a great date and he doesn’t want this date to be a date he needs to use Jinyoung’s money, so he called his bestfriend for help

 

 

“Sure, how much?” Jackson knew Mark’s situation and quickly said yes to help

 

 

Mark said an amount and thanked Jackson for the help. After the call, a small notification came on Mark’s phone and it was Jackson who had transferred money to his account. But little did Mark knew that Jinyoung was near the kitchen and heard the whole conversation. Jinyoung was mad, he didn’t understand why Mark asked Jackson for money, he could just asked him if he needed some money.

 

 

He was jealous, because Mark trusted Jackson more than him, he asked Jackson for help instead of asking him. He wanted to shout and ask the elder, but he calmed himself down and let that be. He knew that if he did that, their date would be ruined and this is a date he looked forward to, so he just pretended he didn’t heard everything.

 

 

“Mark……” Jinyoung said and went inside the kitchen

 

 

“Oh Jinyoung……your awake……mhm……when did you came down? Did you heard anything?” Mark asked nervously, he was surprised that Jinyoung suddenly showed up

 

 

“No…….but why are you so nervous?” Jinyoung asked with a serious facial expression

 

 

“Nervous? I…...I’m just excided for our date…...mhm……let’s eat some breakfast first before we go……” Mark said and leaded the younger to the kitchen island where the breakfast was

 

 

Jinyoung just nodded his head and sat down to eat breakfast. Mark started to feed Jinyoung like he used to and none of them said anything. After breakfast, the elder leaded Jinyoung to the car and they started to drive to a direction Jinyoung don’t know where

 

 

“Don’t you want to ask where we are going to?” Mark asked and started a conversation when the younger just stayed silent the whole time and looking out of the window

 

 

“I don’t care……” Jinyoung said without even looking at the elder

 

 

Mark knows that the younger is sulky over something and he don’t know what. He can feel that Jinyoung is mad over something and is definitely something he has done, so he parked the car in the side way and it surprised the younger to look at the elder

 

 

“Jinyoung-ah……did I do something that made you mad? I’m sorry if I did something bad and stupid, I really want this date to go perfect and have a super date with you that you feel loved and fun……. I don’t know what I did to make you so mad, but please tell me and I will fix and apologise…… I don’t want our date to be ruined before we even started it…….” Mark said with eyes filled with tears, he expected a wonderful date with Jinyoung, but he feels flustered for not knowing what he had done to make Jinyoung so mad and sulky

 

 

Jinyoung saw the tears coming from the elder’s eyes and he can’t take it to see Mark cry, he quickly moved his hands to the elder’s face and whipped the tears with his fingers

 

 

“Shu……don’t cry…...I’m not mad okay……mhm…...I just……” Jinyoung tried to calm Mark down and about to tell the elder about the phone call he heard this morning, but at the end he didn’t tell

 

 

“I just had something in my mind, I will not think about it…….let’s go have fun and enjoy our date okay?” Jinyoung said and smiled, it made the elder smile as well, before nodding his head

 

 

“Babo……” Jinyoung said and kissed the elder’s forehead

 

 

The elder started to drive again and Jinyoung looked now at Mark with a smile on his face

 

 

“Where are we going?” Jinyoung asked the elder this time with an excided smile

 

 

“Mhm……it’s a secret……” Mark said with a proud and teased smile

 

 

“If it is a secret, why you wanted me to ask you earlier?” Jinyoung complained, he felt that he got fooled by the elder and it made Mark let out a big chuckle

 

 

“Just so I can tease you…….” Mark said and laughed hard for the sulky pout he got from the younger

 

 

“It’s not funny…...” Jinyoung said and punched the elder on the arm, but got hurt himself for punching too hard, since his hand still not fully recovered

 

 

“Ahhh…...” Jinyoung shouted and held his left hand with his right hand for the pain

 

 

“Are you okay? You should be more careful……” Mark said and quickly held the younger’s left hand and moved it near his mouth and blew it

 

 

“You think that I’m two years old or something? And a little blew would help?” Jinyoung asked with a pout, but still let the elder held his hand

 

 

“I don’t know what else I can do then…...mhm……what about this……” Mark said and kissed the younger’s hand, it made Jinyoung brush and all forgot the pain he had earlier

 

 

“Whatever…...” Jinyoung said and looked out of the window while the elder still holding the younger’s hand

 

 

They arrived the first destination and it was a supermarket, Jinyoung got confused of why the elder choose the supermarket as a date point

 

 

“Why are we here? If you think a date at the supermarket is romantic then you’re totally wrong…….” Jinyoung mocked after the elder had parked the car

 

 

“Of course, I know that a date at the supermarket is not romantic…just wait here….I will be quick……” Mark said and let go of Jinyoung’s hand, before he went out the car, the elder quickly gave a small peck on Jinyoung’s cheek

 

 

“Yah…...who gave you the permission to kiss me?” Jinyoung complained cutely and it just made Mark chuckle and got out of the car

 

 

Shortly after, Mark came back with a bag filled with something Jinyoung don’t know what it is. The elder left the bag at the backseat and started to drive the car again

 

 

“What did you buy?” Jinyoung asked curiously and looked back at the bag

 

 

“Secrets……” Mark said with a smile and it made the younger roll his eyes

 

 

“Yeah, yeah…...all your secrets….” Jinyoung said and focused at outside again

 

 

“We’re here……” Mark said after parking the car

 

 

“Ferris wheels?” Jinyoung looked out and saw the giant Ferris wheels

 

 

“Yeah, let’s go……” Mark said and ran to open the door for the younger

 

 

Jinyoung went out of the car and Mark held the younger’s hand, Jinyoung just let Mark held his hand. He told himself that it is okay to held hands, since it is a date. Mark bought ticket and went to stand in the line

 

 

When it was their turn, Jinyoung sat excitedly down and looked outside. Jinyoung may be rich and had done many things in his life, but Ferris wheels is something he had not experienced before, so he got really excited. They intertwined their hands and looked out of the Ferris Wheels

 

 

“It’s beautiful……” Jinyoung said and enjoyed the view of the beautiful city Seoul

 

 

“Yeah……” Mark said, but the view he’s staring at is Jinyoung

 

 

“I know right?” Jinyoung asked and turned to look at the elder and found Mark staring at him. Their eyes met and they both looked at each other filled with love

 

 

“You’re the most beautiful one…...” Mark said and leaned in towards the younger

 

 

Jinyoung slowly close his eyes and their lips met, it was at first a small peck, but Mark kissed and kissed the younger. Jinyoung let go of Mark’s hand and moved his hands around the elder’s neck to deepen the kiss. The kiss become passionate and a hot make out session, they only broke the kiss when they need some breath

 

 

“Jinyoung…...I….lo……” Mark started after had stared at each other for a long time, but Jinyoung stopped him

 

 

“Don’t say it……I kissed back just because it felt right at this moment in the Ferris wheels and nothing more……I didn’t forgive you yet…...” Jinyoung said and turned around to look out

 

 

Mark didn’t say anything back, but just looked down, he knew that he still needs to work hard to win Jinyoung back

 

 

The round with Ferris wheels was over and they went back to the car. The drive to the next destination was filled with silent, Jinyoung looked out and Mark focused on the road. When Mark parked the car, Jinyoung was ready to get of the car, but Mark held Jinyoung’s wrist and stopped the younger to open the door

 

 

“I know that you’re yet to forgive me…...but can we just enjoy our date like there are no tomorrow and forget all our past? Just for today?” Mark asked and Jinyoung just nodded his head as an answer. Mark smiled and went to open the door for Jinyoung

 

 

The next destination is a underground filled with street art graffiti, Mark pulled out two spray paint that he brought earlier.

 

 

“Here……one for you……” Mark said and gave one of the spray paints to Jinyoung

 

 

“Me? I don’t how to do it……” Jinyoung said and was surprised that Mark gave him the spray paint, he never tried to paint graffiti before

 

 

“You don’t need to know how to do it……you can just draw whatever you want……like this……” Mark said and started to paint on the wall to show how to do it

 

 

Jinyoung stands behind and reads what the elder is drawing and it was something that made him smile. Mark painted ‘Mark 💚 Jinyoung’ with his green paint spray

 

 

 

 

“Now your turn……” Mark said excided to let Jinyoung try out what he likes to do when he lived in LA

 

 

Jinyoung tried with his paint spray and draw ‘M and J’ and it made Mark had a big smile on his face, because he knew that M stands for Mark and J stands for Jinyoung. They had so much fun while painting all over the wall of the underground and didn’t leave before they used all the paint sprays.

 

 

Mark then took Jinyoung’s hand and leaded him to a small street filled with street foods, they went from stands to stands to eat street foods and Mark always feeds the younger.

 

 

“Turtle egg…….” Jinyoung shouted with a big smile, while he pointing at the stand that sells an old Korean icecream that called for turtle egg

 

 

“Turtle egg?” Mark asked curiously, he thought that it was a real turtle egg Jinyoung is talking about

 

 

“Yeah, let’s go……” Jinyoung said and pulled the elder with him to the stand

 

 

It was then Mark found out that turtle egg is actually an icecream inside a balloon and it was called for a turtle egg since it looked like an egg

 

 

“Two turtle egg please……” Jinyoung asked excided to get his icecream and it made Mark let out a chuckle out of the younger’s cuteness

 

 

The owner of the stand cut the balloons and gave two turtle egg icecream with chocolate favour to Jinyoung while Mark payed for it. They went to sit at a playground nearby and started to eat their icecream.

 

 

“It tastes so good……” Mark commented and it made Jinyoung smile, since the elder liked the thing he loves

 

 

“Yeah, I always eats it when I was younger, but when I got elder many places stopped to sell it…….only a few shops left that still selling this kind of icecream……” Jinyoung said and ate the icecream happily like a kid

 

 

After had done eating the icecream Jinyoung stared at the elder with a smile, since Mark was clumsy and there were icecream next to his mouth.

 

 

“What’s wrong?” Mark asked curiously since Jinyoung just stared at him with a smile

 

 

Instead of answering the elder’s question, Jinyoung just used his thumb to wipe away the icecream and it from his thumb and it made Mark’s heartbeat beat even faster

 

 

Mark then grabbed the wrist of the hand Jinyoung used to wipe his mouth and it surprised the younger and made Jinyoung state at Mark

 

 

“Mark?” Jinyoung muttered while he stared into the elder’s eyes

 

 

“You did it wrong?” Mark said and it confused the younger

 

 

“You should had done it like this……” Mark said and leaned towards the younger and gave Jinyoung a deep kiss

 

 

When the elder parted away, he saw the younger blushed hard and was red as tomato
