Hi, here's double update, sorry that I haven’t updated for a while. I have been working my off because of the covid 19 and when the weekends come, I just become so lazy and only wants to sleep and relax. But I promise that I will start updating again. To apologise, I have updated two chapter so please read chapter 42 first 

 

43. Safe!

 

 

“I missed you……” Jinyoung broke the hug and said with tears running down

 

 

“I missed you too…..” Mark said and the younger’s face, wipes away the tears

 

 

“Did it hurt? Did they hurt you badly?” Jinyoung asked worried when he saw the bruises on the elder’s face

 

 

“It’s okay, as long as you are ok…..as long we can be together, nothing matters……” Mark said and gave the younger a little peck on the lips

 

 

Jinyoung helped to treat the elder’s wounds and they went to cuddle on the bed after. Mark has his head on Jinyoung’s chest and they hugged each other tightly

 

 

“Did they say anything to you?” Jinyoung asked while he playing with the elder’s hair

 

 

“They said that as long as you do as they said……they will let me go……” Mark started before broking the hug and sat up to look at Jinyoung. The younger sat up as well and looked at the elder

 

 

“What did they wanted you to do? Did they want you to do something illegal? Did you get hurt?” Mark asked, he want to find out, he doesn’t want Jinyoung to get hurt or do something illegal just to save him

 

 

“Don’t worry, I didn’t do any illegal and I didn’t get hurt either……” Jinyoung said and the elder’s face to comfort

 

 

“What did they ask you to do then?” Mark asked again worried for the younger, he knew that it most be something big, they wont kidnap him if it is no big deal

 

 

“Well……I’m not ready to tell you yet…...but I promise…... I promise that I will tell you soon….can you wait for me?” Jinyoung said and asked, the elder know that it might be something hard for Jinyoung to tell so he just nodded his head for that he will be waiting till Jinyoung is ready to tell him

 

 

“Mhm…..but I think that we should give our friends a call, they are worried about you and we should tell them that you are safe now…..” Jinyoung said and Mark nodded his head for agreeing for give their friends a call. Jinyoung pressed the facetime call button on their group chat and waited for the rest of the gang to pick up

 

 

“Hey, why the sudden group call? Did something happen? Any news or plan?” JB asked with Jackson beside him. Jinyoung never gives the gang group calls so it worried him that something more had happened

 

 

“Well, there’s something I need to tell you guys…..” Jinyoung said seriously and acted all worried while Mark on the side hiding from the camera and stared at his boyfriend acting. Mark really want to give his boyfriend a Oscar if he could, Jinyoung definitely the best actor in Mark’s eyes

 

 

“What it is? Did your stepdad said something? Did he hurt Mark-hyung? Did he killed him?” Yugyeom asked worried that something might had happened to his favorite hyung

 

 

“So do you want him to kill me?” Mark said without coming in front the camera so the boys could only hear the voice

 

 

“The voice…..” The rest of the gang said in unison and it made Mark chuckle and Jinyoung pout

 

 

“Hyung, you destroyed it……” Jinyoung said and it made Mark came in front of the camera and pecked the younger’s pouting lips

 

 

“Mark-hyung you are back….” Youngjae screamed happily to see his hyung back and safe

 

 

“What happened? How?” BamBam asked curiously of how the elder came back

 

 

“You have a lot to explain young man……but welcome back my buddy……” Jackson said and whipped away his own tear with his arm

 

 

“They had let me go, I just came back just earlier……” Mark said and the gang nodded their head for understanding

 

 

“Did they hurt you badly hyung?” Yugyeom asked worried when he saw the bruises on the elder’s face

 

 

“Don’t worry, it isn’t that bad, they had punched me a bit, but Jinyoung had already treated all my wounds……” Mark explained and it made Yugyeom let out a sigh

 

 

“Sorry that I couldn’t protect you hyung…..” Yugyeom said with his head low and all of them know how much the younger loves his favorite hyung

 

 

“Don’t be? It is not your fault Yugyeom……” Mark said and tried to comfort the younger

 

 

“Mark-hyung is right, it is not your fault……beside I should be the one who’s should had protected him better…..” Jinyoung said and looked at his boyfriend with sad eyes, he thought that it was his fault that Mark had go through all this

 

 

“Stop it, all of you…..it’s no one’s fault so stop taking turn to take the blame okay?” Mark said and all them just turned silent

 

 

“But how did they just let you go hyung?” Jackson asked curiously, he trying to understand the whole thing and situation

 

 

“Well…….I don’t know…..” Mark said and looked at his boyfriend, he was being honest, he didn’t know, Jinyoung wasn’t ready to tell him

 

 

“Jinyoung…..did you…..did you do as he said?” JB asked not mentioning what it was

 

 

“Okay, guys I will tell you soon, just give me some time and I will tell you all the truth…..” Jinyoung said and wanted to shut the conversation

 

 

“Jinyoung, but……” JB started, but got stopped by Jinyoung

 

 

“No, buts……Mark-hyung is tired and we need some alone time for us self….I will tell when the right times comes….” Jinyoung said and hang up on his gang without giving them chances to object

 

 

“Wow…..so manly you are……” Mark said and looked at his boyfriend with lovely eyes

 

 

“How come that so manly?” Jinyoung didn’t understand the elder’s comment, all he did was to hang up the phone

 

 

“Well my boyfriend got all his gang to listen to him……and that’s super manly…..” Mark said and it made Jinyoung let out a chuckle

 

 

They lied down again and hugged each other tightly, they missed each other and had been separated too long, they don’t want to have a single centimeter of distance between them

 

 

The next morning Jinyoung woke up before the elder, he stared at Mark with lovely eyes and the elder on the face. He the gave a peck on the elder’s nose, then lips, the cheek. Mark stirred from his sleep, but he just snuggled closer into Jinyoung’s chest and hugged the younger on the waist and went back to sleep. Jinyoung hugged back and kissed the elder on the head

 

 

“Will you still be by my side after finding out my secret? Will you think that I’m dirty and leave me?” Jinyoung asked in his mind, but he can’t lie to himself of how scared he is to let Mark find out about the truth. Is a risk, a risk of losing Mark if the elder can’t accept it

 

 

Suddenly someone barged into their house and many noises can be heard and it got Jinyoung stir from his position, he got scared that it might be his stepdad’s man. Mark stirred from his sleep and started to rub his eyes to be more waken up

 

 

“What’s the noise?” Mark asked and Jinyoung hushed the elder back to sleep

 

 

“Shu, shu, shu…..go back to sleep babe, I will go check it up……” Jinyoung said and was ready to go out of the bed, but the elder grabbed the younger’s arm stopping Jinyoung from leaving, he got worried

 

 

“No need to worry, wait for me here, okay? I will be right back……” Jinyoung comforted the elder and gave a peck on Mark’s forehead before getting out of their room to check

 

 

To his surprise it wasn’t his stepdad’s men, but their friends arguing of who should go and wake the couple up and it didn’t seems like that they had noticed Jinyoung standing behind them

 

 

“What are you guys doing here?” Jinyoung said and made the gang look at their gang leader

 

 

“Well it seems like our arguing had been solved, he is awake now……” JB said and shrugged his shoulder

 

 

“Well is hard to not get awake when you guys is so noisy……” Jinyoung said with a blank face and arm crossed, obviously not happy to get disturbed by their friends, he wanted to spend more alone time with Mark

 

 

“Come on, we miss Mark okay……and we brought snack and food……” Jackson said and the rest of the group nodded their head for agreeing

 

 

“Whatever……” Jinyoung started and rolled his eyes

 

 

“But just so you know I’m not happy that you broke my babe’s beauty sleep and our moment……” Jinyoung continued and glared at his friends

 

 

On the other hand Mark waiter alone in the room and he become more worried when Jinyoung didn’t came back. He can hear a little of the convasation outside and he can hear Jinyoung asking why they was here. The elder got even more worried when he heard that the younger wasn’t happy at all when he asked, he can feel the irritation of Jinyoung’s voice. And Jinyoung asked why ‘they’ was here, so Mark made a mental note that it is more than one person out there that had barged into their house. The elder worried that it is the men that had kidnapped him had come again and he can’t let Jinyoung take care of them alone, so he decided to go out to see.

 

 

“Jinyoung……” Mark said like a whisper and slowly peeked out of the wall and looked down from the stairs to the living room, but he can only see Jinyoung’s back from his view

 

 

Jinyoung turned around when he heard the voice and he saw his little boyfriend that is hiding behind the wall and it made him let out a chuckle

 

 

“Cute….” Jinyoung thought and ran to his boyfriend and interwined their hands

 

 

“Who is it? Is it them again? What is them after this time……” Mark asked worried and held Jinyoung’s arm with his other hand

 

 

“Well, you need to ask them yourself……” Jinyoung said and ran down with his boyfriend

 

 

“Mark-hyung…….” All the gang member said in unison when they saw the elder running down with Jinyoung

 

 

“Guys……” Mark said and the gang ran to Mark to give a group hug

 

 

“We missed you hyung…….” Yugyeom said and sniff can be heard that the younger is crying

 

 

“I missed you guys to……” Mark said and the group hugged each other tightly

 

 

“Okay, that’s enough……” Jinyoung said after don’t know how long and broke the group hug

 

 

They ate together and gathered together in the living room after. No one dared to ask how it got solved, because they know that whenever Jinyoung had his word, it means no one can object. They played games and talked for a long time, all of them had clinged to Mark like they haven’t seen the elder for years, but it actually had only been 3 days. But if you ask Jinyoung is felt like 3 years for him of not having Mark beside him

 

 

“Jinyoung, can you help me with the snacks?” JB asked and Jinyoung just nodded and followed the other to the kitchen

 

 

“Don’t lie to me…..the other won’t object your words, but tell me……did you do as your stepdad asked you to do? Did you go to the hotel so he would let Mark-hyung go?” JB asked right away when they was alone in the kitchen

 

 

“I said that I will tell the truth later on…..and it doesn’t matter does it? The most important thing is that Mark-hyung is safe……” Jinyoung said without looking at JB and preparing the popcorn

 

 

“Why are you pushing us away, we can help and you don’t need to solve everting all alone……and what do you mean that it doesn’t matter? Have you thought of Mark’s feelings? Do you think that he will be happy that you sacrifice yourself to safe him……” JB said angrily, he hates that Jinyoung don’t trust him and solving things himself and being the only one that’s hurst

 

 

“JB-hyung…….you guys can’t help, I’m the one he is after and your parents would never agreeing to help and go against him, he is too powerful……..I can’t lose him and I willing to do everything just so he can be safe……I’m scared too….. not to do it and save him……but I’m scared that he will not accept it and leave me after finding out what he made me do……but…..but…..I just need to save him……he is the most important person in my life……” Jinyoung said with tears, remembering all the things his stepdad had made him done and what he had done to Jinyoung
