12. Pain!

JB stopped the car near a really big penthouse and JB got out of his sport car after parking it. Mark quickly went out of the car as well

“Is Jinyoung here? Is this his house?” Mark asked curious, but JB didn’t answer the elder and just went towards the main entre for the house

Mark followed JB inside the house and the house was really big. There are beautiful views, you can see the Hang River and it was open kitchen with island, there were a big plasma TV and a big black couch. There where even stairs to the second floor, the elder was really amazed over the big house. Then suddenly they heard a really loud ‘BANG’ that surprised the elder

“I DON’T WANT TO EAT…...GET LOST…...” Someone screamed from upstairs and a young woman ran down the stairs with tears

“I quit…... I can’t tolerate his temper…...” The young lady said before running out of the house, JB let out a sigh and went upstairs to the second floor

Mark followed after the younger. JB opened the door to one of the rooms and then Mark saw the one he missed, the one he loves, Jinyoung. “Jin….” Mark started, but got stopped by JB and the younger mouthed ‘mute’, remining the elder about their deal

“I SAID GET LOST…...” Jinyoung shouted again angrily

“It’s me, Jeabum…... the maid already left….” JB went inside the room and said, Mark followed after with sadden eyes. It was a mess in the room, there were food all over the floor, the loud ‘BANG’ sound from earlier most from this, Mark thought. But he was more surprised to see his Jinyoungie in this condition

Jinyoung was sitting on his bed with blanket covered his leg. The younger had bandage on both of his hands and his eyes. All Jinyoung can see now is darkness, Mark really wants to hug the younger and ask what had happened, but he held himself for doing that. He had promised to stay mute.

“That ing maid should had left earlier, she is really annoying…...I can totally take care of myself….who needs a stupid maid….” Jinyoung said pouting, he was annoyed at the maid who just left the house

“You can take care of yourself? You can’t even find the way to the toilet…... are you gonna pee on your pants?” JB said, teasing the younger

“Get lost…...” Jinyoung said and tried to throw one of his pillows towards JB

“Wrong direction….” JB said and picked up the pillow the younger had thrown to the wrong direction

“Whatever…...” Jinyoung said with crossed arms and pouting lips, he hates getting teased and the one who dare to is no other than his bestfriend Im Jeabum.

“I get that you didn’t like the maid your aunt had got you, so I got you a new one……” JB said and sat on the edge of Jinyoung’s bed

“Whatever…… the maid will quit herself after a day anyways……” Jinyoung said like he doesn’t care at all

“Who said that it is a her? I got you a male maid to take care of you……” JB said and all Mark could do is stand there listening to their conversation

“Male or female…… they will still quit themselves after a few days, we can bet on it……” Jinyoung said full of confident and it made JB let out a chuckle

“I bet he won’t……” JB said with a smirk while looking at Mark who is confused about the weird look JB is giving him

“Ok, then let’s have a bet……I bet him quitting after three days……” Jinyoung said with a smirk of confident

“Then I bet him will stay by your side for a…… long, long time……” JB said with a smirk as well, full of confident

“He is here actually, but he can’t introduce himself……” JB said and looked at Mark, the elder looked at JB surprised and pointed at himself. JB only gave the elder a nod as an answer

“Why?” Jinyoung asked curiously of why his new maid cannot introduce himself

“He’s mute……” JB said, Jinyoung only nodded his head for understanding and now Mark understand why JB wanted him to be mute, JB doesn’t want Jinyoung to recognise his voice

“How do we communicate than……” Jinyoung asked like a three years old kids that doesn’t know anything about this world

“We are living in 2019 stupid, he will use his phone to communicate with you, he writes down what he wants to say, and the phone will read it out and say it to you for him……” JB knocked Jinyoung’s forehead and said

“Yeah, yeah…… whatever……” Jinyoung said while rubbing his forehead with his fingers that are sticking out from his bandage

“He will clean this mess and we’re leaving, he will come and take care of you from tomorrow morning and he will stay here in the guest room until you recover……” JB said calmly and it surprised the elder, Mark wasn’t prepared to live with Jinyoung, what about school, what are he going to tell his parents, what kind of lie he has to come up with this time. Mark thought and stayed there like a statue

“Ok……” Jinyoung said and lied his head back for some rest

“Why are you still staying there, hurry up and clean this mess……” JB said to Mark, then the elder quickly starting to clean the mess, the food that are all over the floor

After cleaning up the mess, Jinyoung lied down in his bed to sleep and JB bid goodbye to Jinyoung before leaving with Mark following after. They sat on JB’s sport car again, but the younger didn’t start to drive, both of them just sat there silently

“You can talk now you know?” JB said with a small chuckle

“What had happened to Jinyoung?” Mark asked, he really wants to know what had happened, how did Jinyoung end up like this.

JB let out a sigh before starting to tell Mark what had happened “After Jinyoung find out about what you had done behind his back, he got angry, angry of himself for trusting you…… Jinyoung had actually trust issues, he don’t easily trust people, he will always test them before trusting them. But he told me that you we’re different, he felt that he should trust you, but he felt angry, because his feeling told him wrong….” JB said and Mark remember BamBam once said about testing Youngjae

“Why he had trust issues?” Mark asked curiously, he wants to know everything about Jinyoung

“That another story…… but back to what had happened to Jinyoung, he got himself drunk every night, after school he will come to the bar and get himself drunk until he blackout, he said that this is the only solution to forget the pain…… the pain of loving you and the feeling of getting betrayed from the one you loves……” JB said and Mark felt like someone had stabbed a knife into his heart, it hurt to know that the one you love was in pain and you’re the one who made him in pain

“We will take turs on who sending him home, I do it the most since I’m the one who had a car and license except from Jinyoung……but one night few days ago, I was in the toilet and when I came out, Jinyoung was already gone and the other boys was drunk already to know where Jinyoung went……I heard a really loud bang from outside and when I ran out, I saw Jinyoung’s car was crashed and the car was upside down…… I quickly ran toward the car and Jinyoung was bleeding a lot, I called the ambulance and Jinyoung stayed at the hospital for a few days…… we stayed at the hospital with Jinyoung, that’s why we had been absent from school…… he was discharges from the hospital two days ago…… the doctor said that he hurts both of his arm so he can’t use them properly for a while…….” JB told the elder the story of what had happened to Jinyoung that made the younger in this condition and absent from school

“What about his eyes?” Mark quickly asked JB

“The doctor said that a few glasses came inside of his eyes, he had an operation that’s why he had bandage on his eyes as well, but we still don’t know if he can see again until we take the bandage of. Dr. Kim said that it takes time to fully recover and he will have his check up next week……” JB explained and Mark nodded his head for getting what the younger had said

“Well, you will have to take care of him from now on, I will make the school know that you will be absent from school for a while, and about living there, you need to find an excuse to your parents yourself, you can do that right?” JB asked the elder and Mark quickly nodded his head

“Of course, I will take good care of Jinyoung……” Mark said and promised for taking good care of the younger

“But remember about our deal, you’re mute and if Jinyoung finds out that the maid is you…… you’re done, this is your last chance Mark, I won’t give you another chance and don’t even dare to do something erts to Jinyoung when you’re staying there. You get me?” JB said with a glare and threaten tone

“I get it…….” Mark said and nodded his head

“Good……” JB said and both of them stayed in silent again

“Mark……” JB said and the elder hummed as and answer

“If Jinyoung gets blind forever…… will you leave him for good?” JB looked up and asked not even looking at the Mark

“I will never leave him again, I love him no matter what…… even he is blind, deaf, or can’t walk anymore…… I will still stay by his side and take care of him…….” Mark said in a serious tone, he doesn’t want to live a life without the younger, he wants to forever stays by Jinyoung’s side

“We’re still in high school, are you sure that you would still say that after a few years? When you start in collage, university, when there many options you can choose between? Boys and girls….” JB asked, he is worried that Mark would change after a few years

“Yes, after a few years many things would change and there’s many options about what to do about my future…… but my love towards Jinyoung won’t change, I love him….now and forever…...even Jinyoung push me away, I will still stay and prove to him that I loves him and will never betray him again……” Mark said, and a smile came from JB’s mouth

“Let’s see then…… I will drive you home now, it’s getting late…….” JB said at started to drive the elder home

When they arrived outside of the elder’s home, JB told Mark that he will come and pick him up at 8 am tomorrow so he has time to pack out his luggage and make breakfast before Jinyoung waking up. Mark bid goodbye to JB and looked up to the windows that belongs to their apartment. The thing he is worried now is how to tell his parents about moving out to take care of Jinyoung

“Seems like I have to make up an excuse and lie……” Mark muttered before going inside the building
