27. The Truth!

 

 

“I’m gay and you all know that, I have my preference to……..I always thought that Jackson was cute, but you started to bully him, and I don’t have any choice, but…….but….you know, try to not fall for him and bully him with you…….” JB said with his head down, he regrets for had hurt Jackson before

 

 

“So, you’re saying that’s my fault? I shouldn’t had bullied him?” Jinyoung said angrily, he had never forced anyone to bully people with him. He never forced JB to become a bully. He felt that the elder blame everything on him

 

 

“You shouldn’t bully anyone from the start…….” Jackson came in and said, it caused a death glare from Jinyoung

 

 

“Just stay still and let me take care of it okay?” JB said with a serious tone and Jackson just nodded his head with a pout

 

 

“You didn’t tell me that you like him and now you blame me for bully him? Did I force you to bully him with me?” Jinyoung started again, he takes JB as brother, he may have stop bully Jackson if JB had told him, that he has feeling for the other

 

 

“I didn’t blame you Jinyoung, I just didn’t stop you…… I know very well why you become a bully, I was there in the past when all the happened to you and I totally understand why you become the one you are now…… “ JB said and silent filled the house, Mark got curious of what had happened to Jinyoung. It seems like Jinyoung wasn’t the one he was today. It made him thought maybe the younger was not a bully before and it must happen something terrible that had hurt him

 

 

“The past is the past, don’t remind me…….” Jinyoung said and JB just nodded his head

 

 

“Anyway, that wasn’t the point…….” JB started “The point is even how attractive Jackson was, I still hide my feelings, you were always my priority, never had I thought of set someone before you….” JB continued and let out a sigh

 

 

“Since I’m your priority, why did you still date him?” Jinyoung said, talked like he is a jealous boyfriend of JB

 

 

“Many things had happened after your accident…… after I had sent Mark-hyung to your place, I drove back to my home…… it was then I found out that I had lost my wallet. I tried to look for it all over my place and car…... The only place I had been was your place and Jackson’s apartment for fetching Mark-hyung…..you know that I had my parents picture in my wallet……since I didn’t had Jackson’s phone number I had to go all the way back to his apartment…..” JB said and held Jackson’s hand for support

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

 

“Open the door…... I know you’re in there…….” JB shouted while he ringed on the doorbell. The elder went all the way back to Jackson’s house and been ringing the doorbell for like 5 minutes now, but no one is opening

 

 

“I say open the door or I will break in……” JB shouted once again and it made the neighbour come out of their apartment to look. But JB just glared back at them, he didn’t care at all. All he cares and think about now is his wallet with his parent photo inside

 

 

The door finally opened and a tired Jackson showing up and glared at JB who had been distorting his sleep

 

 

“What the do you want? Mark is not here, so just get lost…….” Jackson said irritated for being disturbed from his sleep

 

 

“I know that Mark is not here, I was the one who fetched him up earlier…...did you forgot?” JB said and stared at the younger

 

 

“He doesn’t look that well, it seems like he is sick or something……his face is pale…….” JB thought and started to worry about the younger

 

 

“What am I thinking? Lim Jaebeom did you forget that he is Jinyoung’s enemy? No matter what, you need to stand by Jinyoung’s side…….stop worrying about your stupid crush now…….crush? I don’t have a crush on him……” JB talking to himself in his mine and his thought stopped by Jackson

 

 

“So, what are you here then?” Jackson asked again, he got irritated…...he was already feeling like now so he has absolutely no energy to deal with the elder

 

 

“I’m here to look for my wallet……” JB said and pushed the younger away to let himself in to start looking for his wallet

 

 

Jackson has no energy left so he just let the elder do whatever he wants, he closes the door after the elder and leaned his back to the wall and sat down. JB quickly founds his wallet on the couch and was ready to leave.

 

 

“Hey….I’m leaving……” JB said but the younger has his eyes closed and didn’t reply to the elder

 

 

“Hey? I said I’m leaving…….” JB shouted this time, but still no reply from the younger

 

 

JB went closed to Jackson and nudged him a bit to wake the other up from the sleep, but the younger just fell on the side and lied on the floor without waking up and it started to worry the elder

 

 

“Hey……” JB shouted and quickly moves his hand on the younger’s forehead to check Jackson's temperature. As what the elder has thought the younger is burning with fever

 

 

JB quickly lifted the younger up in bridal way and got Jackson in bed, he pulled the blanked over the younger and went to the bathroom. JB got a towel filled with cold water on Jackson’s forehead to cool down the fever. Before going out to buy some medicine, of course he found Jackson’s key on the table so he can get inside again later. After he had brought some medicine, he went to a supermarket and brought some ingredients to make porridge for the younger.

 

 

The first thing JB did after getting inside the house was let go of all he had in his hand and went to check on the younger. He changed the towel and sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the younger

 

 

“You’re really handsome……I think I definitely would had court you to be my boyfriend….just if you’re not Jinyoung’s enemy……” JB thought and careless the younger’s face.

 

 

JB went then to the kitchen to make some porridge for the younger. When the porridge was ready to serve, he brought the porridge and the medicine to Jackson’s room ready to wake the other up

 

 

“Hey……get up…….” JB said and nudged the younger to wake the other up, but Jackson just mumbled some noise and moved his blanked more over his body

 

 

“Cute…...” JB chuckled and thought when he saw the younger like that

 

 

JB stared at the younger and he slowly moving closer to the younger, he couldn’t control himself and his lips touched with Jackson’s lips. The thing he didn’t expect was the younger to response to his kiss with his eye still shut. JB close his eyes and deepened the kiss, he knew that it is wrong of him to take advantages of someone that’s sick, but he just couldn’t control himself. Slowly JB broke the kiss and opens his eyes, he saw Jackson opens his eyes as well and their eyes met. It was only silent between them, none of them said a single word, they just stare at each other. Not until the younger broke the silent between them

 

 

“What was the kiss about? Do you like me? Or are you just playing around?” Jackson sat up and asked the elder

 

 

“I’m sorry……” JB said with his head low, he felt guilty for have kissed the younger

 

 

“I knew it……” Jackson said and punched the elder on the face “Get out of my house, ing playboy……” the younger shouted. JB knew that he deserved the punch and stands up to leave

 

 

“I made some porridge, eat it and don’t forget to take you medicine after…….” JB said and left the younger alone

 

 

Jackson stared at the porridge and medicine beside him and he let out a sigh. The younger had always thought that JB is handsome and attractive. When he first transferred to JYP, he saw JB stand at the school gate with his motorcycle and he just fell for the elder. He had a big crush on JB, but when he found out that he was a bully with Jinyoung, he started to hate the elder. But the kiss just now, made him realize that he still had a crush on JB, he felt pathetic to have a crush on a bully that bullies you. He felt stupid for asking a boy if he had feeling for him. He leaned back and stared at the celling and a tear started to fall

 

 

JB went back home and he felt empty, he had fell for the younger. He knew that he’s a betrayer, when he let Jackson and Mark go when they were at basketball hall. He saw Jackson’s bag there and he saw a foot hiding behind the wall. And he chooses to cover them up and asked Jinyoung to leave there, since he really doesn’t want to see Jackson got beaten up by the group again

 

 

The next day at school JB and the gang met with Jackson in the hallway, their eyes met, but Jackson quickly glared at the elder before getting into the classroom

 

 

“What’s wrong with that kid? Did he wants to get punched? What with his glare?” Yugyeom said with disgust when he saw the glare Jackson gave. He was ready to fight, but JB grabbed the younger’s arm and stopped the younger

 

 

“Let us just get to class……” JB said and went into the classroom

 

 

The day quickly went over and few days has already passed. None of the gang would bully Jackson because JB always stops them. It was hard for the gang to understand the elder, but they just thought maybe he didn’t want to make a scene when Jinyoung is not around. They were not allowed to visit Jinyoung either, JB just said that he needed to rest and none of them can go disturb their gang leader.

 

 

But these past few days is hard and killing JB, he misses the younger, he misses Jackson. Even he sees him every day at school, he still misses him. Every night, he will dream about him, the kiss they shared. At that time, he really hated Mark, because if Mark didn’t knew Jackson and Jackson was just a victim of getting bullied of Jinyoung. It would be easier to ask Jinyoung to let Jackson be. But Mark betrayed Jinyoung because of Jackson and he knew that Jinyoung would never let Jackson be. He will forever be Jinyoung’s victim.

 

 

One night, JB got really drunk and all he can thought of is Jackson. He didn’t know what made him so brave, maybe the alcohol, but he went to the younger’s house.

 

 

“Open the door……” JB shouted while banging at the main door of Jackson’s apartment

 

 

“JB? What do you want?” Jackson opened the door and surprised to see the elder there all drunk

 

 

“What I want? I want you……” JB said and pushed the younger to let himself in, he closed the door after him and kissed Jackson full of lust

 

 

At first Jackson tried to push the elder away, but he slowly gave in and kissed back. It was a passionate kiss, and both of them broke the kiss for some breath

 

 

“Give me a chance……be my boyfriend…….” JB said and careless the younger’s face, eyes filled with love

 

 

“Are you serious?.......Or are you just playing around?” Jackson asked, he was scared to get played, but he fell for JB, he fell in love for the elder, he misses the elder. He just wishes that he wasn’t one member of Jinyoung’s gang. He knew that JB helped him and Mark at the basketball hall. JB turned his head back then towards the wall when they were about to leave and their eyes met. He didn’t know why the elder helped them, but he just fell for the elder even more. JB never punched him or bullied him, he just stands behind with his phone. Sometimes he can see sorry in the elder’s eyes when the gang is leaving after bullying him.

 

 

“I’m not playing around……I like you……” JB said and kissed Jackson again, but the younger pushed him away this time

 

 

“What about Jinyoung and the gang?” Jackson asked, eyes locked with the elder

 

 

“I will talk to him…... I will talk to them…...but I can’t bear to not have you…….” JB said and hugged the younger and Jackson hugged back

 

 

“So, will you be my boyfriend?” JB asked one more time, but Jackson shook his head

 

 

“Why?” JB broke the hug and asked, he felt hurt

 

 

“Stay here tonight…...” Jackson didn’t answer the elder question, but instead asked him to stay

 

 

“What? I don’t like one nightstand if that what you’re asking for……” JB said and it made Jackson let out a chuckle

 

 

“It’s good to hear that you don’t like one nightstand, but ask me one more time tomorrow when you’re not drunk……if you still want me to be your boyfriend tomorrow, then I will date you……” Jackson said with a smile and JB quickly hugged the younger and said “No matter I’m drunk or not, I still want you to be my boyfriend…..”

 

 

The next morning JB asked Jackson out one more time and Jackson gave him a big yes. They went to school together hand intertwined. JB with casual clothes, but Jackson said he still want to wear his uniform, JB didn’t understand why. He said that the younger can just wear whatever he wants, but he just let the younger since Jackson was stubborn to wear his uniform saying that he doesn’t want to be one part of the gang, even he is dating JB

 

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

 

Jinyoung didn’t say anything, it was all silent in the house, no one dared to say a single word

 

 

“The other didn’t do anything wrong, I was the one who ordered them to accept Jackson, just like how you ordered them to accept Mark hyung…. They didn’t like it at first and had a big fight with me saying that I betrayed you…..It was truth, I betrayed you……but the rest of the gang just didn’t had a choice to accept, because I already made up my mind……” JB said and the rest of the gang has their head low. Jinyoung still has his mouth closed, staying in silent

 

 

“If you’re scared that I ruined your gang, then you don’t have to worry……I’m not a member of the gang, I don’t want to be a member of a gang full of bullies either, I just want to date JB and be friends with his friends……..” Jackson said and held the hand of JB even more tightly. Jinyoung let out a sigh and stared at the couple

 

 

“Do you love him?” Jinyoung asked looking at Jackson

 

 

“Yes, I do……” Jackson said without any hesitate

 

 

“Can you promise that you would never betray him?” Jinyoung asked again with a serious tone

 

 

“I will never betray him……” Jackson said full of confident and it made Jinyoung nod his head

 

 

“Yah Lim Jaebeom…...did I ever said that I’m against you dating people? You’re talking like I stops you from dating people you like, you should know that you can always come to me and tell me who you like…...” Jinyoung said looking at JB

 

 

“I know…...I’m sorry…...” JB said and Jinyoung just started to laugh, it made JB also laugh

 

 

“It’s up to you if you want to be in the gang or not, but I acknowledge you as JB hyung’s boyfriend…….” Jinyoung said with a smile towards Jackson

 

 

“Thanks, Jinyoung……” JB said with a big relived smile for the acceptances Jinyoung gave

 

 

“Am I supposed to say thank you as well? I felt like I just got approves of my mother in law or something” Jackson leaned near JB and whispered towards the elder. It made the elder let out a chuckle

 

 

“Jinyoung can give a feeling of a mom sometimes so, you can say thank you mother in law to him if you want……” JB said loudly with a small smirk while looking at Jinyoung and Jinyoung just glared at the elder

 

 

“But can I ask something?” Yugyeom, the baby of the group asked and everyone just nodded their head to hear the maknae’s question

 

 

“What about Mark hyung? Is he back to our gang?” Yugyeom asked a question all the rest of the member also wonder about

 

 

“Of course not, he betrayed Jinyoung hyung…...” Youngjae, the one who’s always stays back and quiets said…...he doesn’t like it when he beloved hyung got hurt. Mark didn’t expect it to come from Youngjae, he thought it would come from BamBam or the maknae. It felt like a sharp knife stabbing in his heart, he knew he betrayed the younger and it is hard to win him back and he knew that the gang still hates him

 

 

“I don’t know, at least not now……I need to see how hard he tries to win my heart back……” Jinyoung said with a smirk staring at the elder who’s quietly staring at his lap
