11. TRY!

It had been weeks since what had happened between Mark and Jinyoung. Mark still goes to school and the rumours and gossip didn’t stop. Everyday Mark feel stares and hears different rumours about how he cheated and betrayed on Jinyoung. Jinyoung and the gangs goes to the school as well, totally ignoring the elder. Mark eyes always follow Jinyoung, he almost become a stalker, if Jackson don’t drag him away, he would definitely follow Jinyoung around the school and may get punched on the face, get into a fight with the gang, just that Mark don’t have the power to fight back.

Jinyoung haven’t been to school lately, at first the whole gang had been absent from school for 3 days. When they came back to school, Jinyoung was the only one that are absent, and it had been a whole week since last time Mark saw Jinyoung. It made the elder sad, school was the only place for him to see the one he loves, but now had the younger been absent from school.

“Is him avoiding me?” Mark thought as him made his way out of school. There was a very familiar black car parking outside of the school, near the gate. Mark recognise the car and the man who just got out of the car

“Mark….” The man said and made a sign with his hand for Mark to go to him

“Dad….” Mark said when he was in front of the man

“I’m here to get you, let’s go home together….” Mark’s dad said with a smile and opened the car door to the passenger seat for Mark. Mark got into the car and Mr. Tuan started to drive the car to their home.

“What is dad doing here in my school? He never shows up to my school unless the something serious going on…. Omg did he find out about Jinyoung? Did Jinyoung made me suspended from school? He has that power…... his dad owns the school…. Do I need to transfer to new school again? Then I won’t get to see my Jinyoungie anymore…. I miss him, I can’t lose my last opportunity to see him…...” Mark thought deeply in his mind

“Mark…...” Mark’s dad said after him parking the car near a park

“Yeah….” Mark said nervously, staring blankly at his dad

“I had a meeting with the principle today….” Mr. Tuan said slowly and turned his head to look at his son

“Why….” Mark asked nervously and turned his head to look down, playing with his fingers

“Your mom had told me that your school had an international project that you don’t need to wear your uniforms for a few months…... and there a guy who comes and get you to school every morning….” Mark was nervous at first, but then surprised over that his mom knew that Jinyoung came and get him every morning

“Your principle told me that they never had a project like that, but that Jinyoung guy made it possible for you to get away with the uniforms…...the principle said that you two was dating….” Mr. Tuan started and waited for Mark to say something, but Mark just stayed silent

“I know you are into guys and I have no problem of you dating someone, but that Jinyoung guy seems to give you a bad effect…. your grades had fell, your mom said you been drinking alcohol at lot and it seems like everyone in school is scared of him, he’s a bully, a gangster Mark…. is there no one else in school that you like? Most it be him?” Mr. Tuan said with a disappointed tone, he has no problem of his son being gay and dating a boy, but it has to be a boy that’s are a good guy and loves his son

“Don’t talk bad about Jinyoung….” Mark looked up to his dad and talked back before letting out a sigh “Jinyoung is a good guy and I loves him……” Mark said pissed, he didn’t like that his dad talked bad about his Jinyoungie

“Good guy? What’s so good about him? His grade is terrible, he uses his power of being the son of the one who owns the school to bully other student…... don’t you hates bullies? Mark you were ones bullied when we were in L.A, you told me that you hate bullies…. why are you being with the bullies now? Even dating the gang leader, being a bully yourself…...” Mr. Tuan shouted at Mark, he was really disappointed at Mark, how can his son date a bully and even become a bully himself

“I’m not a bully even a date Jinyoung…...you once said that you would always support me and no matter who I date you would still respect and support me…. why are you like this when it is Jinyoung?” Mark shouted back, he was already sad for not seeing Jinyoung lately and now this, he doesn’t want to fight with his dad

“You ask me why? He’s a bully Mark, he has no future even his family is rich…. this is no fairy tale, you need to meet and realise the reality…...I will make you transfer to another school….” Mark’s dad shouted one more time, he wants his son to come to his sense

“Transfer? I won’t transfer to another school…... it’s up to me who I date, even he has no future, this is still up to me…...” Mark shouted again before letting out a sigh “But no need to worry…...he already dumped your son….” Mark said sadly and went out of the car leaving his dad dumfounded

“Mark….” Mr. Tuan went out of the car as well and shouted after Mark, but the younger went on a taxi and left the place. Mr. Tuan let out a sigh and drove back home

Mark paid the taxi and went to a place he hasn’t been for a long time, the bar, the bar he used to hang out with Jinyoung and the gang. He stared inside the bar through the window, the gang was there, drinking beer and having fun, Mark looked around, but he can’t find Jinyoung.

“Maybe, he went to the toilet….” Mark thought and turned around to leave

“Aaahhh…...” Mark shouted, he was shocked and surprised of the one who suddenly appearing in front of him

“Looking for someone?” Jeabum asked with a smirk. JB saw Mark staring inside through the window and he went out to make him leave, but Mark didn’t notice him at all, until he turned around

“Um….um…I…. I…. was…...I…. was….” Mark start to stutter, he doesn’t know what to say

“You’re here for Jinyoung right?” JB asked and all Mark could do was nod

“Haven’t you had enough of punches? Shall I punch you more? Your ing betrayer do you know how hurt Jinyoung is just because of you?” JB grabbed the elder’s collar and asked

“I’m sorry, I know that I am a bastard…. but I really miss him, I miss Jinyoung…. I really miss him…. can you please let me see him? He hasn’t been to school for a whole week…...” Mark pleaded with tears

“Do you really think that I would let you be near Jinyoung again? Are you stupid?” JB let go of Mark’s collar and pushed the elder, made Mark lose his balance and fell on the ground

“Please…. I really love him, please let me see him….” Mark got on his knees and pleaded, he felt so lost, he knows that his dad will made him transferred even he goes against it, all he wants now is to see he beloved one, Jinyoung

“If you love him so much…. why did you ing betray him? Why did you cheat on him with that new student? Answer me…...” JB shouted and he felt his anger is boiling

“I…...I…. I didn’t cheat…...let me explain…...” Mark said between his sob

“What? You didn’t cheat? Then what do count as cheating? Explain…...” JB said, glaring at the elder who still on his knees at the ground

“I knew Jackson from L.A….before I moved to Seoul…... we’re bestfriends…..I didn’t know that he would move to Seoul as well….and I couldn’t bear to see him get punched and bullied….” Mark wipes his tear with his hand and explained shortly

“Then why didn’t you tell us? Why didn’t you tell Jinyoung that you knew Jackson?” JB asked, he felt like that the elder only tries to find excuses

“I was scared…... I was a new member to the gang, the rest of you hated me…. only Jinyoung… he was the one who cared for me…. I was scared that you would start to bully me as well…. I was scared to lose Jinyoung…. that’s why I asked Jackson to avoid you guys……I’m sorry…...please….please let me meet Jinyoung…. I love him…. I miss him….” Mark explained and pleaded sincerely with his head low, while his tears keep running down

“You’re pathetic….” JB let out a sigh and said

“I can let you see him…...” JB said calmly and Mark looked up to JB right after he heard what the younger had said

“Really? You’re not lying right?” Mark asked, he felt like dreaming now

“I don’t lie like you…. you can meet him in one condition…. you can’t speak when we get there, you’re not allowed to say a single word…... you need to be mute…...” JB explained and his explanation made the elder confused

“What? Why?” Mark asked confused, not understand why he need to be mute, he wants to talk and explain everything to Jinyoung, and he can’t even apologise to the younger if he need to be mute

“It’s up to you if you want to come or not, you only get one chance here…. you want to meet him, then be mute, no discussion…. the decision is made…. you want to see him……” JB said and asked the elder and Mark nodded his head eagerly as an answer and stood up from the ground

"Good, keep your promise or you're dead....." JB said, then turned around to leave and Mark quickly followed after. They sat in JB’s car and the younger started to drive to a place Mark had never been before
