Hi, first, I want to say I’m so sorry for had disappeared and not been updating for so long. But I have new challenges at work and 2020 with covid-19 just made me sad and lost the will to write. I know that maybe many people are having a hard time because of covid-19 and I know that I can’t continue like this. So, I want to write again and let the one who is having a hard time can read some fanfic and forget all the hard life. I work every day from Monday to Friday, so I will try my best to update at weekends. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and happy new year even 2020 wasn’t the best year 

 

I wrote two chapter, so read from chapter 36. New Friends VS Jinyoung. I will update one more chapter tomorrow night. I reread the story and I saw many small mistakes, so I will also try to fix the chapters and grammar. Hope you will enjoy the chapters and 2021 will be a better year

 

 

36. New Friends VS Jinyoung

 

 

Weeks went by and Mark is already used to go to Big Hit with his new friends. Jinyoung will still drive Mark to school and pick him up after school, but Mark told him to stop. Since he doesn’t want his friends to think that he is some rich boy that need to get pick up from school every day and end up pull away from him. Jinyoung didn’t agree at first and got mad at the elder, even told the elder to not sleep with him at night. Mark ends up to sleep at the couch for a few days. The younger wants to drive the elder to school and pick him up, he wants to stay longer with Mark and have more time with the elder, even it is just a short ride. He wants to take care of the elder as his boyfriend. He doesn’t understand why the elder need to care about what other people think and talk. But after Mark had explained and tried to make a deal with Jinyoung that he can pick him up every Friday, Jinyoung finally agreed and let Mark sleep in the same room again.

 

 

It’s Friday and lunch time, Mark and the others was in the cafeteria talking about what they had planned for the weekend.

 

 

“What about you Mark-hyung? What’s your plan for the weekend?” Jimin asked the elder

 

 

“Mhm…... I planned to meet up with my friends from my old school JYP……” Mark said, but to more exact his plan is to stay at home and cuddle with Jinyoung. “Jinyoung is my friend from JYP, so I didn’t lie” Mark thought and smiled

 

 

“What about today? Do you have any plan, let’s go have some fun, what about we go to the game center?” V asked and wanted to go have some fun with the elder and the rest of the group

 

 

“Mhm I don’t actually have a plan, but……” Mark started and didn’t know how to tell his friends that Jinyoung will come and pick him up

 

 

“Why Mark-hyung? You always so busy after school, especially at Fridays, you ran out of classroom right away when the bell rings….” V asked, Suga had told them that Mark always disappears right after school, since when the rest of the groups comes to their classroom to go home together, Mark already gone. The elder always run out when the class is over so Jinyoung won’t have to wait too long.

 

 

“Is not that I am busy…...mhm…...I just like to go home fast at Fridays, since the weekend would come…hihi…...” Mark lied to his friends, but he couldn’t say the truth either

 

 

“But let’s have some fun today…...” Mark said with a big smile

 

 

“Yeah……” V said happily and they all laughed at how happy V suddenly got

 

 

The rest of the group started to talk about which game center to go and what they wanted to play, but Mark in other hand started to text Jinyoung.

 

 

To Jinyoungie

 

 

Hi, babe, my friends asked me to go to the game center today, can I go? Please, I really wanted to go, I promise I will be home early, before dinner and won’t be too late.

Mark sent and begged like a wife who ask their husband for permission to have some fun with friends. Mark saw that the message had already been read, but the younger still not to reply. On the other hand, Jinyoung sat on the rooftop with the rest of the group and he reading Mark’s message again and again with a small pout on his face.

 

 

JB stared at Jinyoung’s phone to see what made Jinyoung all quiet and pout, he saw the message from the elder and know exactly what Jinyoung is thinking

 

 

“Oh, come on, you didn’t plan to say no right?” JB asked and it made the younger to look up to JB

 

 

“What?” Jinyoung asked dumbfounded, not get what the elder was talking about

 

 

“The message…...” JB said and pointed at Jinyoung’s phone

 

 

“He just wants to have some fun with his new friends…...” JB said, trying to tell Jinyoung that it is not a big deal

 

 

“But he promised that I can go pick him up every Friday and today is Friday…...” Jinyoung complained to his bestfriend and it made JB laugh of how childish Jinyoung can become when it is about his lover Mark

 

 

“But you need to give Mark-hyung some free time too, he can have some fun without you too…...you two are two human being that need some time for themselves……” JB explained for Jinyoung to understand

 

 

“But it is Friday, our cuddle day and he has his free time from Monday to Thursday……” Jinyoung fights back, he wants to be the one that are right

 

 

“Yes, he has the free time……free time from being pick up from you after school, but his not free for have some fun, he takes the bus to get home to you right after school……and to the cuddle day, you have cuddle day with him every day so let him have some fun……” JB said and it made Jinyoung pout even more

 

 

“Fine…...” Jinyoung said and started to text the elder back

 

 

“And put a smiley on the text, write it nicely or else he will cancel it and go home since you’re mad…...” JB said and it made Jinyoung stare at the elder

 

 

People say if the person knew the next step of what you want to do, he really knows you well and JB is the so called person that can knew exactly the next step of Jinyoung’s move. The younger wanted to just write “Fine…...” so Mark can get that he actually didn’t want him to go to the game center and go home instead, but JB stopped him and stared at what he wanted to write. JB end up taking Jinyoung’s phone to write the message back to Mark.

Sorry for late reply, sure, go have some fun with your new friends. I won’t go pick you up today then, have fun and love you <3

JB wrote and put a heart emoji at the end of the message before sending it and giving the phone back to Jinyoung.

 

 

“I hate you…...” Jinyoung said and glared at the elder, but JB just ignored the younger and turned to his boyfriend who was sitting beside him

 

 

A smile landed on Mark’s face when he saw the message from the younger, he was happy that Jinyoung wasn’t mad for him to go have fun on Friday, their pick up day.

Mark replied back with a heart and put his phone back to his pocket

 

 

“Mark-hyung, mhm…...can I ask you something?” Jimin started and it made the elder to look at him

 

 

“Sure, go ahead……” Mark said and waited for what the younger wanted to ask

 

 

“Mhm…...I see that there’s an expensive car that comes and picks you up every Friday, who is it?” Jimin asked and it shocked the elder, he didn’t see it come and didn’t know how to answer

 

 

“Ahh…...mhm…...is…...mhm......is….” Mark starts to stutter and Rap monster saw how uncomfortable the elder was so he steps in

 

 

“Hey, why do you care…...maybe is just his parents, let’s just get ready and go back to our class now……” Rap Monster said and stands up to clean their table, Rap Monster is like their leader so no one complains and starts to clean up after themselves.

 

 

“Thanks……” Mark said in English in a low voice to Rap Monster and the younger just gave him a small smile

 

 

They bid goodbyes since all of them had different classroom and is in different ways. Suga and Mark went together since they are in the same class.

 

 

“You’re rich?” Suga suddenly asked Mark and it made him look at Suga surprised. Suga isn’t a person that ask much and like to know about gossip so it was even more surprise that it came from Suga

 

 

“Mhm…. not really…...” Mark said and stared to the front again

 

 

“Okay…...mhm……am not one to gossip, but I ones saw the one who picks you up and he looked very young……so…….” Suga said and it made Mark stops his steps. Suga stopped too and turned around to look at Mark who stopped walking

 

 

“You don’t need to tell me who it is, I won’t tell the other either…...” Suga said with a small smile and turned back to continued going

 

 

Mark ran to Suga and walked beside him “Thanks….” Mark said and no more words came from the two of them

 

 

After school they all went to nearest game center and had a lot of fun. Mark would look at Suga sometime and not knowing how to tell his friends the truth about his relationship with Jinyoung. But he knew that he can’t keep it as a secret forever

 

 

“Mark-hyung lets have car race” V said to the elder and pointed at the car race game

 

 

“Sure…...” Mark said with a big smile, V happily had his arms around the elder’s shoulder and they went to have a car race. But what they didn’t know was someone just took a picture of them.

 

 

It was late when he came back home and he knew that he is in trouble since he promised Jinyoung not come home too late. It’s 10pm already and all the light in the house is shut off. He actually planned to come home 7pm or even earlier, but after playing at the game center they suggested to eat and go karaoke after dinner. Mark didn’t know how to say no, so he came along to all his friend’s suggestion.

 

 

Mark turned the light on and the first thing he saw was the food on the kitchen island, it was some soup and kimchi pancake and rice. Mark knew right away that Jinyoung didn’t eat dinner since it was two untouched bowl of rice on the kitchen island. Mark slowly went upstairs to their room. He carefully opened the door to their room and then he saw the younger sitting on the bed reading a book. Jinyoung looked up from his book when he hears the door opened.

 

 

Their eyes met and Mark felt sorry for not keeping his promise and let Jinyoung wait for him. Jinyoung marked the side of his book and closed the book he was reading.

 

 

“Did you eat?” Jinyoung looked at the elder and asked, but there was no smile on Jinyoung’s face

 

 

Mark slowly nodded his head, don’t know what to say

 

 

“I’m sorry…….” Mark said and went to the younger. He sat on the edge of the bed beside Jinyoung, he held the younger’s hand and Jinyoung just let him

 

 

“I know that I should had be home earlier…...sorry that I broke the promise……can you forgive me?” Mark apologised and Jinyoung can hear that the elder was really sorry

 

 

“Mhm……did you have fun?” Jinyoung didn’t answer the elder’s question, but asked a new question instead

 

 

“Eh…. mhm…. a little?” Mark answered, but it seems more like a question, since he didn’t know how to answer. Yes, he had very fun with his friends, but what will Jinyoung think? Will the younger be even more mad? That’s what Mark was thinking while he tries to answer the younger’s question carefully.

 

 

“Just a little?” Jinyoung asked again and he knew that he can’t lie to the younger

 

 

“Ok, yes, I had a lot of fun……” Mark said and looked down, don’t dare to look at Jinyoung in the eyes

 

 

“I’m not mad……” Jinyoung said and it made the elder look up to the younger

 

 

“You’re not?” Mark asked to be sure of what he just heard

 

 

“I was…...I was so excited for today so I can pick you up and go to a date, I waited so long for Friday to come, but you suddenly sent a message say you want to hang out with your new friends, I was disappointed that you want to hang out with your new friends instead of me……but JB is right, I can’t always stop you from having fun with your friends, you’re a human being and you have the right to have some friend beside of me, so it’s fine….but next time, keep your promise……I made all the food so we can at least have dinner together, but you came home so late…..” Jinyoung said with pouting lips, a bit sad that the elder came home so late

 

 

“I’m so sorry babe, I promise that I will keep my promise next time, no matter how hard I think it is to say no, I will still say no and come home early……please forgive me…...” Mark said with pouting lips too, try to do aegyo and charm the younger to forgive him.

 

 

“Be happy that I never can resist your handsome face…...” Jinyoung said and had both his hands on the elders face and gave a small peck on Mark’s pouting lips

 

 

“Let’s warm up the food so you get some food in your stomach……” Mark said with a smile and Jinyoung gave a small nod as a response
