23. Forgive?

PRESENT TIME

“So, you were never asleep when I said my mind out?” Mark asked, but Jinyoung didn’t answer or say anything back, he just stayed silent

“Does that mean that……that you had forgave me?” Mark asked carefully, trying to find an answer from Jinyoung

“Of course, not…... you really think that I would forgives you that easily?” Jinyoung said crossed his arms, he won’t get in so easily

“But why did you kiss me this morning then?” Mark asked confused, he thought the kiss this morning was a sign of the younger had forgave him since Jinyoung always knew that he was Ben

“it……it was just to make sure that you’re are Ben……” Jinyoung said nervously, he knew that one part of him he wanted to make sure that Mark was Ben, but the bigger part of him just longed for Mark’s kiss and wanted to have the elder’s lips on his

“With a kiss?” Mark asked unbelievable, he’s confused

“Yeah…… I remember your kissing skills from before and wanted to make sure that Ben was you…… and it seems like I was right…… your skills ……” Jinyoung explained while he looked away from Mark’s stare

“But Jinyou…….” Mark wanted to say something, but got stopped when JB and the doctor came inside again

“It’s time to check your eyes…….” JB said and Jinyoung stands up from his seat to follow JB and the doctor

Mark stayed back and waited for the check up to be over. He felt confuse now, relieved of Jinyoung can see again and always knew that he was Ben. But on the other side, Jinyoung still not forgive him. He thought that the kiss meant something, but it was just to make sure that he was Ben.

Jinyoung needed to look at some machine so the doctor could check his eyes. When his check-up was over, they needed to wait for the report. JB and Jinyoung went back to the VIP room first while the doctor will get ready Jinyoung’s report. On the way back, Jinyoung stopped JB from going any further towards the VIP room

“Why you let Mark near me again?” Jinyoung asked the elder angrily, he can’t believe that his so called bestfriend set the one who betrayed him back to his side

“Mhm……I…….” JB said nervously while scratching the back of his head to try finding an excuse, he knew an angry Jinyoung is no joke

“Answer me…….”  Jinyoung commanded in an angry tone, the younger was really unhappy now

“Ok, ok…...take it easy…...” JB started and tried to calm Jinyoung down

“I’m listening…….” Jinyoung said with crossed arms and straight face

“After your accident, you had been absent from school and he tried to look after you in the bar……” JB started and told Jinyoung the whole story of why he let Mark near Jinyoung again

“So, you let him be near me again just because he cried? Did you remember that he betrayed me? I cried too…… why didn’t you stand on my side? You’re my bestfriend…...” Jinyoung shouted at the elder angrily

“Jinyoung, I’m on your side, but I also want you to be happy…… I know what had happened before is really hurtful and a person that betrays is unforgivable, but I also saw the happiness you had with him. I saw happiness in your eyes, that I haven’t seen after so many years of what had happened before. I know you had trust issues because of the past, but can’t you just give yourself a break to breath?” JB said, he really wanted the younger to be happy, he knows that the past hunts him, but he still wants Jinyoung to trust love and give a chance to himself. Jinyoung had dated before, but never had him seen the happiness Jinyoung had with Mark, so even Mark had betrayed Jinyoung once, he still wanted to take that chance to let Mark getting near Jinyoung again.

“You’re just unbelievable……... betray is betray……. Even I loved him, he still betrayed me…… when you betray once…...you betray twice……” Jinyoung said with tears running, he can feel himself sobbing and the past is running in his mind

“Jinyoung…... I know it hurts, but I can see that Mark hyung is different……. Don’t compare Mark hyung with him……. don’t compare anyone with him……... let the past go…… that’s the only way for you to be happy…….” JB said and hugged the younger, Jinyoung hugged him back and cried his heart out

When Jinyoung had finally calmed down, both of them went back to the VIP room and of course Mark was still there. Mark stands up right away when he heard the door opens. He can see that the younger’s eyes are red, he knew that Jinyoung must had cried, but he didn’t dare to ask. Jinyoung sat on the bed again and the doctor came in as well slowly after with the report in his hand

“Well…… your eyes rehabilitated very well, your sight isn’t in a big difference from the sight before your accident. But you still need to be more careful, so, no phone, no pc and no tv for a month…….” The doctor explained for them what the report says

“What? No phone, no pc and no tv? What’s the point to see again then? Why don’t you just put the bandage back on me……” Jinyoung said dramatically, he already had been away from his phone, pc and tv for weeks and now he finally can take away the bandage, but it still stops him to watch on his phone

“It’s the best for you Jinyoung…… and besides, didn’t you like to read books? Stay calmly and read a few books, but not too long in once, you need to take breaks every hour…... a month goes fast……” The doctor said, but it only made Jinyoung sigh and rolled his eyes of annoying

“Now your hands…… it still not fully recovered yet, so you still need to have the bandage on two more weeks…... don’t let it get wet and no heavy things……” The doctor said and it was more like a command to Jinyoung

“Yeah, yeah……. Whatever……” Jinyoung crossed his arms and rolled his eyes once more

“One last thing…… your feet…… it didn’t get infection, but be more careful next time…….you can go home now……” The doctor said and left the three alone in the VIP room

“You hurt your feet?” JB asked, he didn’t know that Jinyoung had hurt his feet. Mark saw the worried expression on JB face, and he got sudden nervous. If he knew that Mark was the one who made Jinyoung hurt his feet, JB definitely gonna kill him

“it was just a small cut, I stepped on something in my room……” Jinyoung said calmly, he didn’t tell JB the whole story. First, he doesn’t want JB to worry, secondly, JB are a drama queen, he definitely gonna get mad at Mark

“Ok, if you say so……” JB said and helps Jinyoung to stands up from his seat

Jinyoung and JB goes towards the door to leave the hospital, but Mark just frozen in his place. He didn’t know what to do. Was he supposed to follow now that Jinyoung had find out Mark is Ben? Do Jinyoung still need him when he already can see again?

“Hey, maid…….” Jinyoung said and made Mark back your reality to look at the younger

“Aren’t you gonna follow? Or are you taking the taxi? I’m not paying for that……” Jinyoung asked Mark and the elder didn’t need the younger to ask twice. Mark hurried followed after out of the hospital and to the car.

They bid goodbye with JB and Mark drives Jinyoung back to the house. The ride was silent as always, none of them said anything. Mark focusing on the road, while Jinyoung looking outside of the window

“You still gonna play that you’re mute?” Jinyoung finally broke the silent and asked the elder without turning his face

“What?” Mark asked confused, but still calmly focusing on the rode

“Nothing…...” Jinyoung let out a chuckle and said

“Cute….” Jinyoung thought of the nervously Mark and not long after, the ride was over and they are back to Jinyoung’s house
