16. Hurt!

“Is it you Ben?” Jinyoung’s voice shocked Mark

“Yeah……” Mark held his breath and typed in his phone. The elder didn’t turn around to meet Jinyoung, he didn’t want to show his face filler with tears even Jinyoung can’t see. He scared that he will cry even more if he saw the younger’s face, after knowing how hurt Jinyoung had been after he had betrayed him

“What are you doing in my room?” Jinyoung asked angrily, he doesn’t like people going inside his room without permission

“I got you some water, so you don’t have to go downstairs if you’re thirsty……” Mark typed, that wasn’t a lie, but his first reason was to see the youngers face

“I don’t need your help, just get out……” Jinyoung shouted and the elder just went out, leaving the younger alone

Mark ran to his room beside the younger’s, he couldn’t hold his breath anymore, he couldn’t hold his emotion anymore. He leaned back at the door he closed behind him and held the book he took from Jinyoung’s room into his chest. Mark cried his heart out, slowly he felt that he lost all his energy, he fell on the floor and cried until he doesn’t have any tears left.

Jinyoung on the other hand heard some noises. People say, when you lose the opportunity  to see, your hearing sense will be more sensitive. There is only a thin wall between Jinyoung’s room and Mark’s. The younger can hear that Mark were crying, but he doesn’t understand why, he doesn’t know why the elder cried. Jinyoung touched his heart with his hand, he doesn’t understand why he felt hurt for hearing the elder crying so hard.

After an hour or so, Mark had finally calmed down. He took a big breath, before he collected himself and stands up from his position on the floor. Mark went to his bed and hided Jinyoung’s book under his pillow, we want to have this book forever and sleep with it to remind himself for how hurt Jinyoung’s was for his actions. He knows that he needs to stay calm and find a way to win Jinyoung back.

Jinyoung wanted to take a shower so he tried to find some clothes in his closet and went to the bathroom. Because Jinyoung’s hand can’t get too wet, he chooses to only take a warm bath without shower gel. Jinyoung used almost 10 minutes to only find the plug to the bathtub. Jinyoung slowly pull off his clothes and sat on the tub. It was hard for Jinyoung to take that bath when he was blind and both his hands was hurt, but he managed to fill the tub with warm water and sat there relaxing.

When Jinyoung was done, he slowly pulled himself up went out of the tub, he was trying to find his towel, but suddenly slipped and fell on the floor as he screamed of shock. Mark was in his room and heard the scream of Jinyoung. The elder ran towards the younger’s room, but he didn’t find Jinyoung, so he ran to the bathroom and knocked on the door

“Jinyoung, are you in there? Are you okay?” Mark typed in his phone asking for the younger

“Ah…….” Jinyoung felt he suddenly lost for words, his back hurts

Mark opened the door and gulped when he saw Jinyoung lying on the floor. Mark had been dating Jinyoung for a while, but they have never going further than making out. The elder quickly came back to his senses from spacing out.

“Jinyoung……” Mark called Jinyoung repeatedly without caring about the promise he had with JB, that he needed to stay mute. The elder nudged Jinyoung carefully, scared to hurt the younger

Jinyoung heard someone calling him, he wasn’t sure who, but the voice is definitely someone he knew and close to. Slowly the voice become lower and he out

Mark pulled the towel around the younger and carried Jinyoung in bridal way back to the bed. Mark went to find the younger’s pyjamas and dressed him up. Mark pulled the blanked over Jinyoung and sat on the edge of the bed, he the younger’s hand and a tear fell down

“It’s all my fault….” Mark thought and sent a message to JB telling him what had happened

JB came over with a doctor and checked Jinyoung out, the doctor said that Jinyoung wasn’t badly hurt and just needed some rest and sleep. After some hours, Dr. Cha bid goodbye and left. JB made and sign for the elder to follow him, they both stand at the balcony silently, after a few minutes the elder broke the silent

“Sorry……” Mark said with his head down, he was supposed to take good care of Jinyoung, but the younger got hurt

JB turned around and leaned his back to the balcony fence, he looked up to the sky and let out a sigh

“Jinyoung is stubborn, is not like he will let you…... a totally stranger to bath him…...so it’s not your fault……” JB said and turned his head to look at the elder

Mark turned around as well and leaned his back to the balcony fence and stared at the sky before letting out a sigh

“But still, I wish I was there for him, so he didn’t get hurt…...” Mark said while he still staring at the dark sky filled with stars

“I know…... we all wish that…...” JB said and left Mark alone at the balcony

When Mark went inside the house again, JB had already left the house. The elder went into Jinyoung’s room and sat on the edge of the bed. Mark the younger’s cheek and stared at Jinyoung lovely.

“Mark……...” Jinyoung said with his eyes closed

“I’m here…….I’m here baby……” Mark mumbled and held and the younger’s hand

Mark slowly let go of the younger’s hand and went to order some dinner, to be honest, the elder is not a very good cook. You can’t except a teenager to be a super cook, Mark ordered porridge for Jinyoung and some soup with rice for himself. Mark payed with the card JB had gave him for buying food since JB knew that Mark can’t cook.

Jinyoung slowly woke up, he sat up and slowly opened his eyes, but it’s all black. He hated waking up without of the sight of seeing anything. The elder went up to the younger with the porridge in his hand, he was at the door and saw that Jinyoung was already up. Jinyoung put his hand near his eyes and touching the bandage he had around his eyes

“Aaaaaaaaah……” Jinyoung screamed, he hates himself in this condition

Mark wanted to call for Jinyoung, but he thought of the promise he made so he stayed shut. The elder went inside the room and put the porridge at the nightstand. He pulled out his phone and typed

“Jinyoung are you okay? How are you feeling?” Mark typed and there was then the younger noticed the elder

“Nothing for you to care…….” Jinyoung said and turned his head away, he remembered that he fell on the bathroom and he knew that it must be Mark that had helped him and just the thought of the elder seeing him was the most embarrassing thing in his life

“I’m just worried…...” Mark typed and looked down

“Worried? Haha, don’t be funny…... you’re just here for money…... it’s just a job for you……” Jinyoung turned his head back said and laughed, but that laugh for Mark, was just like a knife stabbed into his heart

“I’m really worried, even you don’t trust me……I’m still worried……” Mark typed and Jinyoung didn’t said anything back. It was silent until Mark typed again

“I brought you porridge, let me feed you….it’s warm so let me brow a bit…...” Mark typed and sat at the edge of the bed before he take the porridge and brow it to make it less warm so Jinyoung can eat it

“I don’t want to eat, just get out of my room……” Jinyoung said and turned his head away

“You need to eat something, let’s just eat a bit…...” Mark typed with one hand and tried to feed the younger

“I said just get out……” Jinyoung shouted and use his hand to push Mark away from his bed, but he missed Mark and pushed the porridge in Mark’s hand instead

“Ah….” Mark shouted out of pain, the warm porridge fell all over the elder’s hand

Jinyoung heard the elder and he knew that the elder was hurt of the warm porridge, he wanted to ask if the elder was okay, but he held himself back. He didn’t want to show that he cares

“I told to get out…...” Jinyoung said with a strict voice

“I will clean it up and leave you alone….” Mark typed and let out a sigh

Jinyoung can hear the elder pulled up the bowl and spoon before getting out. Mark went to the kitchen and put his hand under cold water. His hand is already red and Mark bit his lips for holding in his pain. The elder went up to Jinyoung’s room again and the younger were already back to sleeping position. Mark cleaned up the mess and went back to his own room.

Mark lied down in his room and close his eyes, he really wishes he can go back time and change anything

Jinyoung couldn’t sleep at all, he turned around and around, but all he thinks about is the elder’s hand. Jinyoung stands up and touch himself the way to the elder’s room.

“Ben? Are you asleep?”  Jinyoung opened the door and asked, he didn’t know why he was suddenly so brave to looking for the elder

Jinyoung didn’t hear any response, but he can hear some breathing and low snoring, so he thought that the elder already asleep

Jinyoung had his hand in front him, trying to find the way to the elder, when he was near the bed, Jinyoung bends down and use his hand to find the elders hand. The younger touch Mark’s hand with his fingers and he can feel that the elder’s hand is already filled with blisters

Jinyoung let out a sigh and thought that it was his fault, he didn’t know why he care so much about the elder, he is just a maid. He never cared about his previous maids, Jinyoung tells himself that he is just feeling sympathy of the elder since the elder couldn’t speak and was mute.
