20. Our Last Moment! Part 2

 

 

The next morning, Mark waked up early to make breakfast for the younger. He made toast and scrambled egg Jinyoung wanted. Even he’s happy to make breakfast for Jinyoung and that the younger likes his scrambled egg. He can’t forget he only had 3 days left until Jinyoung’s check-up.

 

 

“Ben?” Mark heard Jinyoung asking for him and turned around to see Jinyoung near the stairs

 

 

“Why you down here? You should had waited for me to wake you up……” Mark typed on his phone before he ran to the younger and helped him to the kitchen island

 

 

“I woke up early by myself……” Jinyoung said and sat down on the chair

 

 

“What’s for breakfast?” Jinyoung asked, he was hungry

 

 

“Toast and scrambled egg……” Mark answered simply

 

 

Mark feed the younger and they ate silently, Mark’s mind wasn’t there, all he thought off was how many times he had left and how Jinyoung would react if he saw that he was Ben

 

 

“Ben?...... Ben?....... BEN?” Jinyoung shouted and it made the elder back to reality

 

 

“Hah?” Mark said and surprised that he didn’t hear Jinyoung

 

 

“You stopped feeding me and you didn’t hear me, I said your name multipin of times……” Jinyoung said with a plain face

 

 

“Sorry……” Mark typed quickly and apologised to Jinyoung

 

 

“Ah….” Mark said and Jinyoung opened his mouth to be feed

 

 

“We’re done……” Mark typed when they had eaten up their breakfast

 

 

Jinyoung heard Mark was to stand up from his seat and he quickly grabbed the elder’s hand to make him have a seat again. Mark was surprised of the sudden move of the younger, but sat down again

 

 

“Is……is there something bothering you?” Jinyoung asked the elder carefully

 

 

“Why?” Mark typed and asked back, he was surprised of Jinyoung’s question

 

 

“You have been so quiet, you’re always happy feeding me, but today you’re so quiet and out of your mind…... I can’t hear your smile and laugh……” Jinyoung said honestly, he misses the elder’s smile and laugh while feeding him, but today it felt awkward

 

 

“Don’t worry, I’m just tired, I didn’t sleep well last night……” Mark typed and stands up again to clean up

 

 

“Okay, if you say so……” Jinyoung said, but he still thinks that there’s something bothering the elder

 

 

Mark was washing the dishes while the younger still sitting there waiting for the elder. When Jinyoung asked for the elder, Mark turned around to look at the younger

 

 

“I….I have my check up on Monday……will you come with me?” Jinyoung asked and waited for the elder to answer

 

 

Mark was surprised of the question from the younger and the glass he was holding slipped from his hand. The sound of broken glass shocked both Mark and Jinyoung

 

 

“What happened? Are you okay?” Jinyoung asked worried, scared that the elder got hurt

 

 

“I’m fine, the glass just slipped from my hand, I will clean it up….” Mark typed on his phone before starts to clean the broken glass

 

 

“Ah….” being clumsy as Mark is, the elder got a small cut on his finger

 

 

“Ben?” Jinyoung asked worried when he heard the elder scream

 

 

Jinyoung stands up and getting near the other side of the kitchen trying to find Mark

 

 

“Aaahhh……” Jinyoung screams, he was near Mark and since he couldn’t see, he had stepped on the broken pieces of the broken glass with his bare foot

 

 

Mark was worried when he saw it and wanted to shout Jinyoung, but he knew that he couldn’t. So, the elder quickly lifted Jinyoung in bridal way to the couch

 

 

“I will go find first aid kit…...” Mark typed and went to find the first aid kit, while Jinyoung just sat there waiting for the elder

 

 

Mark was back with the first aid kit and sat on the table in front of the younger. He pulled out the bottle of wound cleanser to cleanse the younger’s wounds

 

 

“It will sear a bit, I will clean the wound now……” Mark typed with his phone and used a cotton with wound cleanser to cleanse the younger’s feet

 

 

“Aaahhh…...” Jinyoung shouted in pain, it sears so much. Mark felt so bad seeing the younger in pain, he wants to cry.

 

 

“It’s all my fault….” Mark thought, before he used a bandage to cover the wound

 

 

“Why you came over when you can’t see? You knew that I had broken a glass…... what if you get infection……” Mark typed and asked worried, he felt bad that Jinyoung always getting hurt because of him. The elder can feel his tears falling and he whipped it off with his hand

 

 

“I heard you scream and got worried, are you hurt?” Jinyoung said and asked back

 

 

“I’m fine, just a little cut on my finger…...” Mark typed and answered the younger

 

 

“Wait did he said he was worried about me?” Mark thought and looked at Jinyoung surprised

 

 

Jinyoung let out a sigh and said “You should clean your wounds as well…...” Jinyoung said, but Mark didn’t answer

 

 

“Ben?” Jinyoung asked when it fell silent and the elder didn’t answer

 

 

“Did you say that you were worried about me?” Mark typed and asked the younger.

 

 

“No, I didn’t…...why…...why would I worry about you……” Jinyoung stuttered and Mark saw the younger blushing

 

 

“Omg, is he blushing? So cute….he got all shy and blushing because of me….” Mark thought and smiled stupidly

 

 

“Wait….not because of me….but because of Ben….he was worried of Ben…... did he fell for Ben? He fell for another man that’s not me?….” Mark thought and his smile faded away, even Mark is Ben and Ben is Mark, the elder can’t stop his feeling of jealous. Jealous of Jinyoung blushing because of his character Ben. He felt betrayed that Jinyoung so quickly can feel attached of another man. Mark knew that in Jinyoung’s eyes now he is Ben and he was blushing because of Ben and not Mark Tuan

 

 

“Ben? You okay?” Jinyoung said when he didn’t hear anything from the elder

 

 

“I’m fine…...” Mark typed simply, he’s still sulking over the younger’s blush

 

 

“What’s wrong? Your mood changes so fast……” Jinyoung ask the elder when Mark is answering simply again

 

 

“Nothing…...” Mark typed simply again, not in mood to type so much on his phone, he can’t really tell the younger that he’s sulking and are jealous because he blushed for Ben and not Mark either

 

 

“Whatever…...” Jinyoung crossed his arms and said, clearly irritated over the elder’s mood swing

 

 

“Sorry, I know that you’re worried……I just…...I…… I don’t know what got into me…...” Mark apologised right away when he saw the younger getting irritate

 

 

“It’s fine, no need to apologise, just clean your wounds so you won’t get infection…...” Jinyoung muttered and a smile appeared on Mark face

 

 

“Yes sir……” Mark said and cleaned his wounds before putting a band-aid on the small cut. He then went to put the first aid kit back in place

 

 

Mark back to sit beside the younger and it was just silent between them, none of them said a thing until the younger broke their silent

 

 

“Since I hurt my foot now…… you need to carry me around…...” Jinyoung said, more like a command, but Mark gladly agreed

 

 

“Of course, it was my fault you hurt your foot, just let me know and I will carry you around……” Mark typed, and a satisfied smile appeared on Jinyoung’s face

 

 

“Good…...” Jinyoung said happily like a satisfied king and it made Mark chuckle  

 

 

“Do you want to go somewhere now then?” Mark typed to ask the younger

 

 

“Mhm….I want to go to my room…...so carry me upstairs…...” Jinyoung commanded and Mark nodded his head

 

 

“Yes, sir…...” Mark typed before carrying Jinyoung in bridal way. Jinyoung had his arms around the elder’s neck for support and Mark carried the younger to his room and slowly put he down on his bed. When Mark was about to leave, Jinyoung grabbed the elder’s hand and pulled the elder near him, made Mark lose his balance and fell on top of Jinyoung

 

 

Mark stared at the younger, from his eyes, nose then lips. Mark leaned slowly down until it only inches between their lips, Mark really wants to continue to lean down and kiss those plump lips, but he knew that he can’t

 

 

“Aren’t you going to stand up?” Jinyoung asked when he didn’t feel the elder standing up from the position

 

 

Mark quickly stands up and pulled out his phone to type “ Sorry…...” With his face all red, blushing from their moment

 

 

“Stay…...” Jinyoung said without letting go of the elder’s hand

 

 

“Ok….” Mark typed and stands there quietly

 

 

“Lie down beside me…...” Jinyoung said and Mark lied down beside the younger

 

 

“I want to cuddle…...” Jinyoung said and hugged the elder without waiting for Mark to answer, agree or not

 

 

At first Mark lied there not moving, but then hugged the younger’s back, he missed the younger’s hug and cuddle. But he felt uneasy, because the one Jinyoung wanted to hug and cuddle was Ben and not Mark
