Chapter 12
Do You Trust Me?From sweet ones like this,
“You must be tired. You’ve been running through my mind the whole day.” To ones like this,
“I’m not a hipster, but I can make your hips stir.” Jeonghan left messages almost every day. On the occassions of the latter, Mingyu would reply,
“Very suggestive, Yoon Jeonghan.” Jeonghan’s arm had healed completely by now, leaving only a tiny scar on his forearm. Mingyu still felt guilty about it, but Jeonghan wouldn’t allow him to blame himself.
Mingyu sat on Jeonghan’s sofa, picking his pink hair apart. His hair was so soft.
“Are you trying to check me for lice?” Jeonghan asked as he looked up.
“No, your hair is just really soft. And you look really good in pink hair.”
“I know. I’m hot, right?” Jeonghan winked at Mingyu, making him blush.
“You know...I’ve been thinking...” Mingyu started. He knew he was doing something risky.
“And?” Jeonghan prompted for Mingyu to continue.
“Will you marry me?” Jeonghan shot up from Mingyu’s arm.
“Wh-what?” He wasn’t sure if he had heard it right.
“Nevermind. Pretend I didn’t say anything.” Mingyu said quickly. He looked away, filled with disappointment, but he didn’t show it. He didn’t want Jeonghan to know how much it affected him.
“N-no, that wasn’t what I meant!” He explained.
“Then what did you mean?”
“Its just-your question took me by surprise, is all. Yes, I will marry you, Kim Mingyu.”
“Really? You will?” Mingyu immediately looked back at Jeonghan, eyes boring into the older’s. “You do know this is a lifelong thing, right? And you’re marrying a werewolf.” Mingyu pointed out, his breath tickling Jeonghan’s face.
“Yes. I know. I’ll make you the happiest werewolf on Earth, I swear.” Jeonghan swallowed, closing the distance between them. Mingyu responded immediately, putting his hand on the back of Jeonghan’s neck, pulling him closer. Finally, Jeonghan pulled away, his lips a little swollen.
“What about the date?” He asked as Mingyu buried his face in the crook of Jeonghan’s neck, sighing contentedly.
“We can figure that out later.” Mingyu mumbled as he kissed Jeonghan’s neck. He wrapped his arms around Jeonghan’s waist and pushed him down onto the sofa. He made quick work of Jeonghan’s shirt, revealing that pale torso. He leaned down again only to brush his lips against Jeonghan’s and onto his chest. Jeonghan shivered, the cold air against his bare body.
“Are you cold?” Mingyu asked. Jeonghan nodded in reply.
“Let me warm you up.” Mingyu smirked as he undid Jeonghan’s belt.
