:19: "Who cares?"

“Alright, the secret meeting between three-fourths of BLACKPINK and six-sevenths of BTS is underway!” Hoseok announced, pounding the table like a gavel, “Who has suggestions on what should be done?”
What a way to introduce the second to last chapter. BLACKPINK and BTS were currently in one of the conference rooms at the BigHit building to discuss our good pals Roseanne and Jungkook. All of them know that Jungkook broke things off with Jihyun, but they wanted to discuss what should happen next.
“Why are we here again?” Jisoo asked, confused.
“We need Jungkook and Rosé to get back together.” Namjoon stated.
“But shouldn’t they figure it out by themselves? We shouldn’t be intruding.” Lisa responded.
“I agree.” Jennie added.
“Me three,” Yoongi joined in, glancing at Jennie. Remember that they’re the only ones that know about Jungkook and Rosé’s secret?
…I know what you’re thinking. “Ah hem, rourou, we already had a chapter like this. It’s the second to last chapter! We need ROSEKOOK.” I know, I know. But do you really think Jungkook knows what he’s doing? He needs some motivation.
Speaking of Jungkook, that boy is currently pacing in his bedroom, trying to come up with a master plan to get Rosé back. He’s been doing this for three straight days. He has no clue on what he should do. He doesn’t know if he should do a huge romantic gesture or something more lowkey. He needs help.
“We’re not going to into their business,” Taehyung told them, “Jungkook has been freaking out for the past few days on how he should get Rosé back. We’re just here to figure out what he should do.”
“I wish I could help you guys, but Rosé doesn’t even know what she wants Jungkook to do.” Jennie stated.
“Seriously?” Seokjin asked.
“Seriously.” The three girls replied.
Jimin groaned, “I’m so sick of Jungkook dying inside over this! He just needs to go see her and explain things! He doesn’t need some grand gesture.”
“If one thing’s for sure, it’s that she doesn’t want Jungkook showing up trying to explain things.” Jisoo told him.
“That makes no sense.” Namjoon responded.
“It’s because last time he tried to explain things, they broke up.” Lisa said.
The nine pals were silent, not knowing if they should have conducted this meeting or not. Yes, they want to help out but no, Jungkook should probably figure this out by himself.
“You know,” Jennie started to say, the attention now on her, “I don’t think we have to do anything. I believe that they’ll unconsciously just kind of… reconnect.”
“What do you mean?” Jisoo asked, confused, “Oh god, that kdrama affected you too?”
Jennie rolled her eyes, “No, it didn’t. Only Rosé believes in soulmates… but I’m starting to believe that,”
“Jungkook and Rosé are soulmates?” Yoongi guessed the ending of her sentence.
“Yup.”
Silence.
“That’s a little far-fetched.” Jimin said.
Namjoon, the intellectual, chimed in, “I mean, I can see it making sense I guess. I feel like this whole situation with Rosé and Jungkook is,”
“What situation?” Jennie cut him off, getting nervous that he knows the big secret.
“… You know, just how they met and stuff? Jungkook told me that when he first laid eyes on her, he felt something new. Just their whole relationship seems too perfect. In a good way.” Namjoon responded.
Yoongi: [You’re getting too spooked about this.]
Jennie: [Sorry for not wanting to reveal our friends secret… the one that they don’t know we know.]
Taehyung chuckled, “You guys sound ridiculous. If anything, they’re just a good match. A really good match.”
“It’s called having good chemistry,” Jisoo added, “You can be that way with multiple people.”
“Multiple people, huh?” Hoseok grumbled.
“I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Maybe they’re just a special case.” Lisa shrugged.
“Do you guys hear yourselves?” Jimin asked, “Are you actually suggesting that Jungkook and Rosé were meant to be with one another?”
“They are.” Yoongi suddenly stated.
Namjoon turned to his friend, “That’s surprising coming from you.”
“Look,” Yoongi huffed, “We shouldn’t be arguing about this. We should be trying to help our friends out. Who cares if they were meant to be or not?”
“You just said that they are.” Jisoo said.
“Because I believe it, but it doesn’t matter if I do and you don’t. All that matters is that they get back together. It’ll help all of us.”
Nobody argued against him, knowing that he was right; Jungkook and Rosé have to get back together.
But how?
“I don’t know what to do,” Jungkook huffed, his mouth full of ramen.
“You seem to be in quite the predicament.”
…Wait, is this Jihyun again? I swear to god if it is- oh. It’s a new character! Who is it?
“Especially since you drove all the way to see me.” They added.
“Three hours isn’t that bad,” Jungkook grinned.
His mother chuckled, “It kind of is. Honestly, I’m surprised you want my advice.”
Oh , WHOA. Jungkook drove all the way to Busan to see his mother? Just for advice? He must be really serious to get Chaeyoung back!
“Why are you surprised? I’ve called you tons of times before about girl trouble.” He stated.
“Yes, but you usually just say that my advice probably won’t work.”
Jungkook rolled his eyes, “C’mon, give me some credit! At least I ask.”
The two were currently seated at the dining table; Jungkook’s mother made him some dinner once he appeared at the door. Jungkook gave her no warning that he was coming, but that didn’t change anything. His father was currently out on a business trip, so sadly he won’t be appearing in this story. I asked but he said he was too busy. Wait, that makes me seem like a character in this story. I’m not, I promise.
“You do, unlike your brother.” His mother stated.
“Yup. But back to my predicament.”
“Who is this girl anyways? Is it still Jihyun?”
“Oh god no,” Jungkook replied, “I finally ended things with her. I thought I told you everything that happened?”
“You told me up to your breakup.”
“Well, not much happened after that except that I told Jihyun that we can’t talk anymore. For Chaeyoung and my sake.”
“Ah, Chaeyoung. That’s her name… right. She’s famous, right?” She asked.
“Yeah, she’s from BLACKPINK.”
His mother gasped, “Ah, BLACKPINK! I like them! Wow, good job!”
Jungkook laughed loudly, “Well, I’m glad that you already like her then!”
“You better get her back!”
“I know, that’s what I’m trying to do… its impossible!”
“Maybe you shouldn’t be so caught up in making a plan to get her back, Jungkook,” His mother began to explain, “Not all girls like the same things, and that includes methods of reconciling their romance. Some girls like huge gestures like flash mobs, and some like a simple visit to explain their feelings… some women like neither. You can’t just come up with a plan hoping that she’ll like it.”
“Ugh, you’re right,” He grumbled. “Then what am I supposed to do? I know that she won’t allow me to just appear out of nowhere.”
“Then maybe you have to get her to come to you.”
“Well that’s a little devious, don’t you think?” Jungkook asked.
“Not necessarily. Make her come to you somehow, and when she appears, have something there for her. Something meaningful. Something that you have to think long and hard about to know what it should be.”
Jungkook thought about it for a moment, considering his mother’s advice. “That’s a pretty good idea.”
“Are you actually going to use it this time?” His mother joked.
“I might just do it.”
“But just so you know,” She said, “You may have to involve others in order to get her to come to you.”
“How so?” He asked, intrigued.
