“So we just record ourselves doing random stuff?” Lisa asked, staring at the camcorder.

The girls were just told that they’re going to start filming for BLACKPINK TV. Also, they’ll be having a comeback soon, but “soon” usually means a few months. Either way, it’s exciting!

Because of this new show that they’re going to have, things are going to become quite hectic. They’re going to Hawaii at some point, but also they’re going to Thailand. They’re also visiting Seungri’s restaurant and other places in South Korea. They’ll be travelling a lot.

Rosé was sitting there quietly, running her schedule through her head. They do have studio time as well, so they’ll be running around constantly. Rosé hopes that the concept for their next comeback is fiercer image instead of a cute one. She loves “As If It’s Your Last”, but the cuter image just doesn’t suit her onstage persona. She likes acting fierce!

“You think that’s hectic?” The man’s voice echoed in her mind.

Here we go again. She was just casually planning something out, and this guy has to come back in. Rosé has come to the conclusion that this voice is probably her conscious. Why it’s a man she doesn’t know, but it makes things interesting. But she’s always confused because he refers to himself like he’s a real person. It doesn’t make sense to her.

“Well, yeah.” She replied, trying to act normal. The girls have asked her why she makes such weird expressions nowadays, which is pretty embarrassing. She has a thinking face, but apparently she’s acting like she’s listening to someone speaking to her… which she is. BLACKPINK kind of thinks that she’s going crazy with stress.

“Wait until you hear mine,”

Wait, won’t he just be repeating Rosé’s schedule? He is her conscious after all. This makes no sense. But whatever, she’s bored, so might as well listen.

So, the guy went through his whole schedule for the day. It consisted of two interviews, a performance, and a variety show appearance…. This isn’t even close to Rosé’s schedule. Why is it different from hers? If it was different and they were like “I’m going out with friends” she’d be less confused, but it sounds exactly like an idol’s.

“Why does your schedule sound like an idol’s?” She asked.

“Because I am one? I thought you would know that.”

Why is the enigma girl confused that he’s an idol? If it’s in his subconscious, shouldn’t she know? She is something created by his mind anyways.

It’s been two days since he started hearing her speak in his mind, and he’s convinced himself that he’s not going crazy, he’s just trying to find a way of coping with all the stress, and that coping mechanism is this random lady. Sure it doesn’t make sense, but he just hopes that he isn’t losing his mind.

“Wait, what?” She asked, clearly confounded.

“Why are you confused? I thought you would know since you’re a part of my imagination?”

The girl was silent for a few moments, then spoke up, “No, you’re in MY imagination.”

Uh… what? Alright, maybe he is weird in the head right now. His subconscious shouldn’t be doing this to him. It sounds freaky. Is this enigma going to take over his body or something, like some sort of AI invasion?... He’s been watching too much Sci-Fi.

“Jungkook! Come here!” Namjoon yelled from the other room.

Ending the conversation in his mind, the maknae went to go see why Namjoon sounds so worried.

“What’s wrong?” Jungkook asked. The six other boys were standing around a box, staring at it with frustrated expressions.

Namjoon cleared his throat, reading a note that came with the package, “Jungkookie, thank you so much for stopping by to check in on me. I’m so glad we could settle our differences for one night. Kisses, Jihyun.”

His hyung’s looked up at him, all quite disappointed in Jungkook. Well, why wouldn’t they be? He did say he was going to stop seeing her.

“That’s before I agreed to stop.” Jungkook said.

“Uh huh, sure.” Yoongi scoffed.

“Did you two bang or something?” Taehyung asked.

“Yah, no we didn’t! I’m pure.”

“If you’re pure, that means ‘pure’ suddenly means ‘sinner’.” Seokjin joked.

“Rude.” Jungkook mumbled.

Jimin opened the box without asking, Jungkook pushing his hyung over to stop him from opening it, “OW!” Jimin frowned, rubbing his elbow, “You could have just said stop.”

Namjoon stuck his hand inside, picking out a, “Uh.”

“What is it?” Hoseok asked, curious.

“This is squishy.”

“Did she send you…toys?” Jimin asked Jungkook innocently.

“Ew, no!” Jungkook gagged. “Pull it out. It’s just slime. She makes slime.”

“Slime is so last summer.” Taehyung stated.

“You like slime?” Namjoon asked.

“No.” Jungkook responded.

“Then why is she sending you slime?” Yoongi said.

“Oh my god, this is going nowhere.” Jungkook facepalmed, wanting to exit the conversation.

“Are you alright?” The girl asked sweetly. Well this is new… her voice actually sounded really cute there!

Finally she’s acting like a conscious. He expected this to happen.

“My hyungs are being annoying.”

“You have brothers?”

“No, they’re like my brothers though.”

“Jungkook, you good? You’re staring off into the distance again.” Namjoon stated, flashing a suspicious expression.

“Oh, yeah. I’m fine.”

“You do that so much now.” Taehyung noticed.

“Do what?” Jungkook asked nonchalantly.

“Stare at the ceiling and make weird facial expressions.” Hoseok said.

“Oh, well, my head has just been somewhere else lately. It’s just stress.”

“Is she,” Namjoon pointed to the box, “the one that could possibly be stressing you out?”

Ah, intellectual Namjoon has returned! Maybe it’s some internalized issue Jungkook has and Namjoon being the genius he is, he was able to pick it up before Jungkook even noticed!

Jungkook shrugged, “Not anymore since I’m not contacting her.”

Lies. All lies!

Jungkook looked back at his hyungs, who were now playing with the slimes his ex sent to him. Yes, he has still been contacting her, but NO he’s not into her anymore… right? He’s moved on. There are plenty more fish in the sea.

Although, sometimes Jungkook finds himself thinking about her. He tends to wonder if he and Jihyun, his ex, are really meant to be together. He needs a sign validating whether he’s correct or not.

“What should I even film? My life isn’t that exciting compared to the other girls.” The lady suddenly said quietly.

Walking into the kitchen, Jungkook knew to get away from the others if he was going to respond. He actually finds it fun… which may be a bad thing.

What is the girl even talking about?...Filming? What about it? Why is she saying that she has her own life anyways? And she’s comparing it to others? It’s not like she really does have her own life… unless…

“Film what?” Jungkook asked back, interested in how she’ll respond. Maybe she’ll talk about the interview BTS has later. Yeah, that makes sense! That’s being filmed!

“Oh, uh” The girl seemed surprised yet again that Jungkook was there to respond, “J-Just a daily life vlog type of thing. My boss told my friends and I that we have to start filming ourselves when we travel and when we’re just hanging out…”

Alright, this is weird. Jungkook has never heard any of this. It really is like this girl has her own life. But how could that happen since she’s a figment of Jungkook’s imagination, huh? It’s not like… it’s not like she’s an actual person or anything…hm.

Might as well please his conscious and continue the conversation.

“I actually did something like that once too. A few months ago my hyungs and I went on vacation and filmed ourselves. It’s fun, but it isn’t if you don’t know English.” He replied.

Shouldn’t this enigma speak English since Rosé does? It doesn’t make sense if he doesn’t.
