After all, good thing there's still some kind and nice people left.

Mina was thankful that someone, a stranger, tried to comfort her. Even it was just a small gesture, she was glad.

She wiped off her tears with the handky, it smells good, then she put it on her pocket. She walked home, laid in her bed, and cried herself to sleep.

Dangerously In Love [Chapter 6]

During the weekend, Mina just stayed home, feeling depressed. She never went out of the house even to buy food, she just ate what she had on her fridge.

She has no one to talk to. She has no relatives in Korea. She only has Momo and Jihyo. She really wanted to talk to Jihyo and share her feelings but she can't, Jihyo stayed at her grandma's house in the province over the weekend. She doesn't want her to worry.

She's not close enough with her other friends to talk about such a sensitive topic so she just kept it to herself.

Then Monday came. She doesn't want to go to school, she doesn't want to see Momo, but she has no choice. Their school is very strict when it comes to attendance.

Mina walked towards her room. As usual, the other students looked at her and gossiped but this time it's different. It's not the usual thing that happens that they talk about her looks etc., it seems like they look at her with pity.

Mina just ignored them and walked, facing down. She's avoiding to see Momo.

Then Jihyo ran towards her like it's very urgent.

"Mina-ya!" as she approached Mina, panting.

"Oh Jihyo." still facing down.

"Come with me. We need to talk." then without waiting for a response, she grabbed Mina's hand and started running. Mina just went with her, too tired to argue. Then they went to the rooftop.

"Mina-ya, do you know it already?" Jihyo started as soon as they arrived.

"Know what?"

"The whole school is talking about it. You, Momo and Tzuyu."

"What about Tzuyu?" Mina asked, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Everybody knows now that Momo cheated on you. It's confirmed. Someone saw them outside Momo's house last night and they kissed. Someone even took a picture as a proof!" then Jihyo showed the picture to Mina on her phone.

Mina's eyes widened as it's all clear to her now. It was Tzuyu, the one that Momo cheated with, the girl who gave her what she wanted.

"I told you, she went to a motel with someone, and turns out it was Tzuyu! How can she do that to you?!" Jihyo's very upset and frustrated at the same time.

So it was her. Jihyo was right. I should've believed her when she told me about it. I should've followed my instict when I saw them came out of the restroom. I should've been brave enough and confronted Momo about it instead of covering her up and convinced myself it wasn't true.

It's all clear to her now. The phone calls, Momo always busy texting someone, always out for practice, the sudden disappearances, and forgetting their anniversary. She was busy with Tzuyu the whole time even if they were together.

Mina's eyes are full of tears as she thought about the things she should've done. Her knees weakened that made her fell and sit on the floor.

Jihyo knows Mina is very hurt right now. She cried as she looked at how miserable her friend is. She rubbed Mina's back to comfort her as she let out her pain that she kept for herself over the weekend.

Then Mina told Jihyo what happened the other night, on how traumatized she was with what Momo did to her. Jihyo can't explain how mad she is. She wants to go to Momo and give her a beating for what she did but Mina stopped her. So she just stayed and comforted her friend. They stayed there for a couple of minutes until they sobered up.

They went down when the bell rang. Mina's eyes are so red and swolen, she tried to cover it up with some eye makeup. Jihyo accompanied Mina to her room.

When she was about to go inside, she saw Momo and Tzuyu holding hands together, walking towards their direction. She saw Jihyo frowned and actioned to confront them but Mina stopped her. Then she immediately went inside straight to her desk.

Then after a few minutes, Tzuyu came inside and sat beside her.

Mina can hear her classmates gossip about them, like they intentionally talk about it for them to hear it.

"Snake! Ehem." someone said it like he was coughing, referring to Tzuyu.

"Traitor!" "Betrayer!" "Backstabber!"

They said all sorts of hurtful things. Their classmates know how strong Mina and Momo's relationship was until it was ruined when she came.

Tzuyu just ignored them, still with her head held high. She just scanned her book to show that she doesn't care.

"What a thick face bit—" someone said when it was cut off when the professor came. The they all setlled down.

The bell rang and it's time for lunch. Mina doesn't want to eat and just wanted to stay at their classroom but Jihyo insisted that she must eat something. She looked so skinny and sickly due to the depression.

They ordered food and sat in the corner of the room. Jihyo is almost finish but Mina hasn't eaten half of her food yet. She doesn't really have an apetite, she just doesn't want Jihyo to nag at her nonstop.

The canteen was crowded with students, they chatted with their friends while eating so it was a bit noisy. Then the noise grew louder when Momo and Tzuyu came, the students talked about them, looking at them with judging eyes.

Mina's expression looked more gloomy as she saw the new couple entered. She stood up and walked towards the exit but she was stopped by Momo.

"Let's talk." then Momo signalled her to go out.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jihyo said and took Mina's hand.

"It's ok Jihyo. I can't runaway forever. We also need to clear things up." Mina said calmly, then Jihyo released her hand, she understood what Mina meant.

Then the two of them went to the side of the Library where no one's around.

Mina just stood there, looking at the ground, waiting for Momo to start the conversation.

"Sorry if things ended this way." Momo said. "I'm sorry that I hurt you, I didn't know that it will end like this." Momo said sincerely.

"Sorry? So you're just going to throw away all the years we've spent together, all the things we dreamt together?" Mina started crying.

"I loved you Mina, it's just that this relationship won't work anymore. I'm thankful for all that you've done to me, but I think this is the end. I hope you can find someone better." then Momo hugged Mina tightly for the last time and left.

Mina was left there, her hands covered her face as she cried. She can't believe it's over. She reminisced about their memories together. The first time they met at kindergarten, the times when Momo saved her from the bullies, the competitions they've won, the places they've been to, summer vacations they spent together, the day they went to Korea and many more.

Mina left her family and friends in Japan to follow Momo because she can't bear to be away from her even just for a day. They did everything together, she's almost dependent to her. Aside from Jihyo, Momo is only the person she trusts in this foreign country.

Now she's left alone. Momo's happy with her new relationship while she is heartbroken. It's like half of her is empty and she doesn't know how to fill it up. She doesn't know where to start.

She weeped hardly as she thought of those things. Then Jihyo found her sitting on the ground, still her hands covering her face. She's been looking for her for 15 minutes now. She cried as she saw Mina's state. Mina is her bestfriend and she's hurt seeing her friend like that.

Jihyo went to the the teacher's office to ask permission if Mina can go home early. S
