Taehyung rubbed his eyes and looked around. When he realised he was in the hospital, he felt a little upset. He looked at the clock that read 9:39 p.m. He sat up straight and looked to his right. He smiled. "Jungkook-ah, I'm sorry for everything." He murmured as he looked down at his fingers.

"It's alright, hyung..." A voice said.

Taehyung gasped and turned to Jungkook who was looking at his arm. "J-Jungkook..."

"Yes, hyung?" Jungkook finally lifted his head and looked to his left, only to see a crying Taehyung. He stuttered. "Uh- H-Hyung, y-you're crying?"

Taehyung didn't really care anymore about the doctor's orders. He removed the sheet from the bed and walked towards Jungkook. He hugged him while crying into the younger's shoulder.

"Jungkook, I'm very sorry. This is all my fault. I hate my life now. Because all I've done in life is cause trouble and-"

"Don't touch me." With Jungkook's sharp words, Taehyung pulled himself away from the hug and fell onto his bed. He widened his eyes.

"Don't touch me, hyung." Jungkook blurted out again.

"Eh?" Taehyung panicked.

Jungkook sighed and clicked his tongue. He said again. "I said, don’t touch me, hyung."

"W-What?!? Why?!? Jungkook, what are you trying to-" Taehyung paused and thought for a while with his eyes closed.'Thank you, Jungkook. You're right. I deserve this punishment. Thank you. You finally understood me. Thank you...'

He got back to his bed, pulling the sheets to cover his shivering body. "Thank you, Jungkook. What you're doing is the right thing to do. This punishment is a must for me. Thank you for understanding me, Jun- Jeon Jungkook."

The younger raised his eyebrow and glanced at Taehyung really quick.

A few minutes later, the nurse entered the room and put a tray of food for dinner. She opened the cabinet next to the door and took out a bandage roll and hygienic wipes, as well as a tube. She the lights, hoping that the patients would eventually wake up to take their medicine and their dinner.

"Ah..." Jungkook yawned. He wanted to stretch his arms but stopped after the nurse advised him not to. He looked at Taehyung, who completely covered himself with the blanket.

"Here's your dinner. I will be back after a while to apply your medicine. Oh, please do not move from your current position. Both of you need to rest your body." She said as she pushed the trolley in between the two hospital beds so that the patients can reach out for their food.
